- BAILY (7/5): - Nice area, short walk to great beach.
- Sebastiaan (8/5): -
- Musmann (9/5): Rien à reprocher - Cela se situe juste à côté de la plage, idéal lorsque l’on recherche quelque chose de calme et isolé. Loin de tout, il faut environ 1h pour aller à El Nido
- Richard (5/5): I will definitely come back here again. - Serene, relaxing the room are clean and comfortable . I enjoy hanging out at the Resto bar. The staff are very accommodating, and the service are superb. They go an extra mile for you. The price is competitive in comparison in the surrounding facilities. You got bang for your bucks. None, considering the cost.
- Alba (10/5): Excepcional - Excelente Nada , todo fue perfecto
- Ekber (5/5): -
- Chiara (1/5): -
- Rocio (9/5): Love it - Super comfy, nice staff. The hot water working intermitently, but everything was perfect
- SMITH GIN (1/5):

- Tanya (10/5): Felt local, special but with all the amenities. - The owners Alex and Ronell are such amazing host’s. We had a great time. Food was lovely. It felt local, private and special. Super close to an amazing beach. Big room and bathroom. Great bar area for drinks and a game of pool.

- Ruku (10/5): Other than being an amazing property, the best part was meeting and getting to know the staff and owners. A special than - Beautiful bungalow, comfy bed, spacious rainfall shower, strong air con, pool and sea view. Nothing we didn’t like about it!
- Michaela (7/5): Naturnaher Aufenthalt in Strandnähe. - Lage und Naturumgebung. Unnötig einfache Ausstattung.
- Fabiana (7/5): -
- Chiaki (7/5): -
- Marin (3/5): - Billy is very kind and helpful, and he drove us where we needed to go for a reasonable price
• Air conditioning works well
• Generally quiet location (occasional dogs at night and roosters in the morning)
• Clean bed sheets and towels Property and surroundings are poorly maintained, with trash around the area
• Swimming pool is not usable (green and not maintained)
• Very low water pressure and hot water is often unavailable
• Porch is sticky and uncomfortable to walk on barefoot
• Wi-Fi did not work for one full day during our stay
• Toilet paper is not replaced with new rolls, only partially used ones from previous guests
• Not worth the price – would not recommend unless maintenance improves
- Tibor (4/5): - Close to the beach. The room smelled bad and ac almost didnt work. Stray dogs on property and tons of mosquito..
- Veronica (4/5): Not really as expected - Room is quite good a bit stinky because of humidity but ok we were expecting this. Staff is kind. Not really fair. Once we arrived there, they told us the restaurant was closed and there were nothing in the near where to eat.
They told us that they could arrange the El nido tour for us but basically they could just suggest us a tour service in El nido and we had to go to El nido by ourselves (50 mins. Go and 50 mins. Back). We had to change our location to find something closer to el nido. We knew the location was far from el nido but, since they told us they arrange tour from their location, we decided to stay there and discovered things were different just when we arrived there. They should have told us in advance.
Also the room wasn’t clean.
- Rankin (7/5): Highly recommend this place rooms are comfortable and so so peaceful - 100 Mtrs from a really beautiful peaceful beach with waves ,dinner provided was great , and the staff are amazing if you love nature this is the place road into area has mostly been concreted with a few small dirt sections We had bad strong storms and long blackouts without power-lights etc
I guess out of owner control
- chennie (7/5): -
- Aleksander (6/5): Nice, but not for the price. We had nicer stays for cheaper in el nido - Comfortable room, nice lighting, nice shower, amazing duvet, very friendly and helpful staff, Gap in the door for mosquitoes, no pool and not honest about it, hard bed, low quality towels, food passable
- Osmar (9/5): Superb -
- Bruno (8/5): Recommended! - Modern rooms
- Aitouba (7/5): Good -
- Angela (8/5): Beautiful Duli Beach - Large room with good storage space. Bathroom has a full length window so we hoped it was not visable from area outside. Beautiful Duli beach just a couple of minutes walk.
Nothing really open in the evening apart from accommodation bar. Need a motorbike for longer stays
- Alina (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ashlee (8/5): Very good -
- Augusto (7/5): Good - The bungalows are well built and modern, on a very recluse location. The room was clean, spacious and with plenty of storage room. The bed was very comfortable. The internet was really good and we never experienced any electric outage. The restaurant offers good breakfast and good options for lunch/dinner.
The location is pretty good, just 2 minutes walking from Duli Beach, but I would recommend buying any groceries or supplies in town, because there is not much around. They offer the swimming pool as a facility, but is not maintained and therefore is not suitable for use.
The shower pressure is really low and the water temperature is not constant.
The staff is friendly but could use some hospitality training, the communication was not very good. We arrived at the hotel and we didn't have a proper check in, they didn't even ask our names or booking reference.
- Ionut (5/5): Too expensive - The staff was friendly and tried to help and please us. The price is too high for what property offers (80$ per night). There is a bad smell coming from the bathroom.
Also consider sleeping with lizards in the room.
The place is a bit far from anythin. Duli beach is only good for surfing due to the big waves.
- Alina (9/5): A good location - The food, personal and the location was great. The road to the location was not so good, a lot of dust...
- Brian (4/5): Disappointing -
- Fg (8/5): Very good - The bungalows were clean and spacious, quiet surroundings, close to the beach, very comfortable bed, they provide laundry service. Not much food options around the area, in their own restaurant quality of service and food can be improved.
- Rachel (9/5): We would definitely come back and will recommend to friends! - The setting was charming, the rooms were large and well appointed, the common area was comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool was great. The location is very close to the beach. The food was tasty.
- Denis (10/5): Exceptional - Location Top! Nothing,all.ok!
- Tom (10/5): Wonderful attentive staff in a great location with lovely rooms - Great location, good rooms, wonderful staff, nice food Very little… some electrical issues needed to be fixed quicker as toilet paper replacement!!
- Klaus (8/5): Very good - The crew at the hotel was very friendly and accommodating. We got all the help we needed for transportation, renting scooters etc.
The food was very good. On New Year's Eve, a special buffet was served, with a suckling pig and other delicious Filipino dishes.
There is a bar with karaoke.
It is only a 10 minute walk to the beach where the hotel also has a bar. The owner of the hotel has apparently not any renovations carried out for a while.
The water supply and the roofs of some of the bungalows could need some repair.
The Deck in the
The wooden floor of the restaurant is damaged by termites and had to be repaired twice after someone broke through with their foot.,
- Linda (8/5): Great rooms but food needs work! - New clean and beautiful rooms. Great location a few mins walk to a very quiet and beautiful beach.
Has a nice little pool. The food was quite bad and there was only 1 other restaurant in walking distance open for dinner which meant we had to hire a scooter and drive about 20 minutes for dinner.
The potatoes were hard in my husbands curry, even the second time as he had asked it to be cooked more. My burger was really tough and sinewy and not nice.
The staff were a bit slow and seemed more interested in sitting with their friends chatting at times. It’s quite expensive compared to the other hotels so I expected them to be more on it. They were kind and friendly though - maybe they need some training - I know the hotel is new.
- Sean (6/5): Hard to sum up in one sentence - Rooms were great and thoughtful made
Lany was a gem and went out of her way to make breakfast great Rooms needed a kettle and coffee with tea
The senior staff (male) were on the phone a lot you had to interrupt to ask something
Place needed to be cleaned abit better
Rooms were not cleaned in the 5 days we were there had to always ask for toilet paper and clean towels
- Claudia (9/5): Brilliant stay! - We had a fantastic stay at Kawai Duli bungalows. The staff were so friendly and accomodating and the room was comfortable and just what we needed. It was a very short walk to the beach and they had a beach spot available to sit on sun loungers and enjoy snacks. We also took part in surf lessons with them which was really great value. We really loved our stay and would recommend. The massages are on your bed, this wasn't a problem but may not be of preference to some!
- Kavanagh (10/5): Exceptional - My stay at Kawai Bungalows was a true delight, offering the perfect blend of tranquility and charm. Nestled in lush surroundings and just steps from the beach, the cozy accommodations provided a serene escape. With its beautiful ambiance and exceptional service, Kawai Bungalows has become one of my favorite travel destinations, leaving me eager to return!
- Dulani (2/5): Overpriced, neglected,
and unreliable - Some of the staff were friendly.
The location is close to the beach (but not on the beach itself).
The place was reasonably quiet and the bed was comfortable. First of all, it's terribly overpriced for what you get. If you like to get a rustic cabin experience for three times the price, this may be for you. While they initially look nice from the rooms are pretty basic. Also, it seems the place is badly maintained. When we initially checked in, there was an old mattress lying on our porch. They didn't provide any information about their restaurant, breakfast, or any activities available. We were just ushered into the room and that was it. Upon entering the room, there was also a musty smell. In the middle of the night, the AC started leaking water. To make matters worse, the AC was right over the bed! The floor was cracked and made a noise when walking. The front door didn't close properly (in the sense that there was a big gaping hole between the panes) meaning that all sorts of bugs can easily come in. These issues may seem nitpicky, but we were paying over USD 90 per night, and at that price point, you do expect a certain standard. If the room was half the price, we wouldn't really care about these issues.
The food was average. The dinner was OK, no complaints there. the included breakfast was meh. Several stuff from the menu were missing, and the toast tasted very stale. They also didn't hand over any milk or sugar for the coffee until we asked for it. The service personal, while friendly, seemed a bit clueless and untrained.
The biggest issue was the attitude of the management regarding transportation back to El Nido. This place is in a very remote location far away from anywhere. There aren't taxis or tricycles waiting around or plying the road. As such, arranging transportation should be their bread and butter. We specifically asked for transportation leaving at 11 and confirmed this no less than 2 times (during the previous night and during breakfast) since we had a pre-booked van to Puerto Princessa and a subsequent flight. However, the tricycle only arrived at 11:45.
- Gary (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ethel (10/5): family friendly stay - staff, service and beach
- Silvia (9/5): Superb - Staff were really friendly and helpful.
The bed was very comfortable.
It's a great place if you want to avoid the crowds. For us it worked perfectly to spend some days at Duli Beach surfing. Local people was super kind and welcoming
- Michael (9/5): It was a very good place to stay, the staff are incredibly nice and accomodating. - The staff are very accommodating. They picked me up at the airport and my lighter was taken before I got on the airplane. Ryan gave me his. My partner and I both work online and the room had 1 desk and they brought us another one. The room didn't have a tea kettle and they got us one. My partner needed baby powder because her legs were raw and they got it for her. I brought the wrong mouse and didn't have the correct USB and they let me borrow a mouse for my computer. They generally went out of their way to help us in any way they could. Ryan is a chef and a very good cook. So is the woman who cooked breakfast for us. The bungalow is near the most beautiful Duli beach and you can walk there within minutes. The Airport Shuttle Service is not free. It will cost you 1500 pesos one way and they will take you anywhere you want but you need to pay to go there at least 1000 pesos for gas if not more and you don't have any other option as the place is in the middle of nowhere. The place is hard to get to if they do not pick you up which you have to pay for and the road to the bungalow is very bumpy which they can't control. In the room, the electricity went out once but it came on after about 10 minutes. The water went off once but it came back on again after about 10 minutes. Not sure what the reason was but it was not a big deal since it did not last a long time.. There is no TV in the room. As it is a bungalow and most people are on vacation doing things like island hopping it is ok since it won't be watched much anyway but it would be nice if there was one. Also, there is no hot water but the water that does come out is kind of lukewarm. The room was never cleaned. They went inside once or perhaps my partner asked them to but they didn't clean the room nor did they take out the trash, maybe they only changed the towels but they certainly didn't change the bedsheets so the housekeeping needs to be better.
- Róbert (10/5): Helpful, extremely friendly staff. - Beautiful beach!
Large modern rooms! Fast wi-fi connection, available throughout the hotel.
Excellent quality food, huge portion! Dont have TV in the room.
- Wilfredo (1/5): Not good - Nothing Requested to reschedule due to change in flight schedule. We received no response.
- Jasmine (9/5): Superb - Great location away from busy and crowded El Nido town (45 minute bike ride). Stunning, quiet beach only a few steps away. A decent location for some surfing. Great if you prefer more isolated resort away from the touristy area. Be mindful that it is quite a bit away from town. Places to eat are limited (only a couple located on the beach). You have to drive through dirt roads to get to the resort so it isn't the most convenient if you plan to venture out on the bike when it is dark or rainy. But we found that it is worth it for how calm and tourist-free Duli beach was compared to other places in El Nido.
- Bryan (10/5): Fantastic new resort with a few bumps to iron out - Very new, top notch staff and service Little details need to be addressed- eg a door sweep or weather strip to keep the bugs out (it’s in the middle of/next to a jungle) and the cool air in.
- Sandra (8/5): Very good - Again staffing they was so nice, they treat us with so much respect and they tried all there best to make our days comfortable and happy. Location too far for local stores.
- Nico (10/5): Kawai offers a refreshingly natural and remote getaway with basic luxurious accommodations and a warm, friendly service. - - Value for Money: We enjoyed great value staying at the Kawai resort, paying about 55€/night for two, with breakfast included.
- Nature and Location: The resort's proximity to the beach and its natural surroundings offered a peaceful and relaxing experience.
- Room Design and Comfort: The rooms were spacious and well-designed, featuring basic luxury, excellent passive lighting perfect for romantic evenings, and a large, rainforest-style shower.
- Service: The staff were friendly and helpful, particularly Ryan, Billy, and the bartender at the beachfront, who were proficient in English.
- Facilities: The resort is equipped with a reliable Starlink WiFi, though it occasionally drops, and a diesel backup generator that ensures power even when local outages occur. - Pool Maintenance: The pool, close to nature, had leaves and some natural debris and was heavily chlorinated, which might not appeal to everyone, but it was fine for us.
- Briones (10/5): If you want a hotel that is far from the El nido, this is the right place for you. The place is near a beach where you r - It's near the beach, where you can relax.
- Artjom (9/5): Superb -
- Silvia (10/5): Fantastic! - Perhaps the best vacation of my life. My girlfriend and I were looking for a hotel near the El Nido area to rest and explore its famous beaches. Almost by luck, we came across Kawai Duli Bungalows. At first, we were a bit scared to discover that the hotel was more than 40 minutes away from El Nido and that transportation wasn't straightforward, but this turned out to be a blessing. Being away from all the hustle and bustle of the tourist area meant that we had an absolutely beautiful beach almost to ourselves! The hotel is simple but very comfortable, and the staff are super friendly. They treated us with a lot of care. The food is simple but delicious, with a homemade taste. The bungalow is very comfortable, clean, and modern, with air conditioning and perfect internet. The beach is a 2-minute walk away, and we spent our days swimming, walking, and sunbathing. They have a small bar right in front of the beach where they serve cocktails and food, so we lacked nothing. It was an unforgettable moment enjoying the simple pleasures of life. We will definitely come back. Ryan and his staff are very lovely people and even helped us book a tour to the beaches of El Nido. When we went to the port and discovered the chaos of tourists and noise, we realized that we had made the best decision. 10 points.
- Derly (9/5): Overall it’s a very satisfying and peaceful stay that we will never forget and would be happy to go back again if we get - Privacy, near the beach, staff are good, food is very tasty (kudos to their chef), value for the money Quite remote and has to go to bumpy road
- Juan (10/5): BEST PLACE IN EL NIDO FOR RELAXING VACATIONS - I know reviews are based in personal experience and I see some saying breakfast was not good, i disagree, breakfast was spectacular, the personnel were really helpful and kind, rooms and pool were really nice, Duli beach breathtaking, if you want to be in a quiet place far from el Nido noise this is it. thanks to Bobby and Ryan
- Hamana (8/5): Nicer - Very accommodating to our needs via transport to and from El nido Distance from other places but that's literally it
- Yessica (10/5): Great - The rooms was spacious and very clean. Comfortable bed and a luxurious feeling. The staff was also really kind and helpful. The perfect place if you want to avoid too much tourists. It’s also possible to walk to nearby beaches as Mariposa beach and Dagmay beach which is really beautiful places. There is also motorbike rental nearby. I was traveling alone and felt very safe there :) I would recomend to go with car instead of tricycle. It’s a rough road to get there, but totally worth it once you arrive!
- Kari (7/5): Luxe and spacious hotel but consider the 3km dirt route to reach it - Luxe and spacious rooms with good shower and airconditioning. We used the pool and the employees were very helpful. If you are looking for a nice calm hotel this is a fit. 3 km of bumpy dirt route before you reach the hotel. There are no restaurants other than that of the hotel open in the evenings because it is quite isolated, so there it not much choice in terms of food.
- Taylorjames44 (9/5): It was a very nice modern room. A new place that is very good overall with a little room to improve - New modern style rooms in a location close to duli beach. The hotel is very new and the rooms are immaculate. The lighting and layout has a modern feel but you are in a beautiful setting with lots of nature around. The bed is comfy and the room is spacious. Secluded location which we liked. Staff very attentive and happy. Nice cafetiere style coffee. Strong WiFi in all areas. The breakfast could have been more substantial for the price of the room rate. We chose pancakes and felt they were quite plain served just with butter. (Although it said served with syrup, however, maybe we should have asked for the syrup) that said, I still feel some fruit to accompany the pancakes should be offered. The pool area was nice but i feel there could be some chairs to sit around and make it feel more comfortable (there are chairs for a pool bar area but not open yet by the looks of it). Also chairs outside the room would be nice too. We stayed in el nido for one week and felt we got better value for money elsewhere.
- Andi (10/5): Exceptional - The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly and made our time there so much more enjoyable (especially Ryan and Billy!)
