- Priscilla (10/5): - The location is just amazing. Only 4 blocs from historic city. The place is very safe and comfortable. My room was beautiful. Hot shower, tv, even a hair dryer. all you need was there. They put some music so it can be uncomfortable at night. However, you just have to let them know that you want to rest and they'll shut down the music.

- Guadalupe (5/5): Mucho por mejorar - La ubicación es buena. El desayuno está bien. Es un hospedaje que no está preparado para recibir turistas. No te brindan información de ningun tipo. El personal fue amable pero escaso. La edificación es muy linda pero le falta mantenimiento. Tuvimos problema con el pago con tarjeta y nos cambiaron de habitación. Tiene una terraza muy linda aunque con poco mantenimiento y el restaurant no funcionaba.
- heather (10/5): - Loved the location in the Historic Center. Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly. This historic house is beautiful. Beware that is a climb up a long hill to reach the hotel. The view from the roof top lounge makes the climb worthwhile! The music playing at breakfast was a little gloomy!
- Jennifer (7/5): - The room was large, shower had hot water, everything was clean. Great breakfast. The staff didn't speak English at all, so it was a bit hard to communicate. The property was under construction and sometimes the noise started as early as 8am. Also it is at the top of a steep hill, and then there is a long flight of stairs just to reach the reception area.

El wi-fi no era lo suficientemente fuerte para la tv que solo era por internet y para los móviles, al menos en la habitación, en el lobby la señal era buena. El "Rooftop" que para mala suerte nuestra, estaba cerrado en cuanto a la cocina para merendar allí con la vista.

- Nina (9/5): Great! - Nice location near the historic center. The hotel had a beautiful and unique design. The restaurant at the rooftop of the hotel was also very good and affordable, one of the best places we ate in Quito. We stayed for only one night, so I don’t know.
- Sandra (10/5): Fantastic pool which was warm enough to use on the sunny day! - The property was well situated, with not a long way to walk with backpacks to the Barbour. And only a few minutes taxi to the airport. Lovely room, with lots of ‘sitting areas’ throughout the hotel. The pool was so refreshing and our first pool in 6 weeks of travel in South America, so we were grateful for an extra day here (due to the tsunami warning). We could store our backpacks here whilst we were over at Isabela Island too.

- Sandra (10/5): - This was a fun place to stay. We only stayed one night, but the staff/owner was very friendly and helpful. The rooms was clean with a nice bathroom. Beds were very comfortable. The roof top resturant was very delicious. It was cold the night we were there so did not sit outside. The views are spictacular of the city.

- Maria (5/5): Lied to - The breakfast was very nice at the lady who works for them is great. She is always smiling and goes the extra mile. Very clean and comfortable. Well, to begin with I was blatantly lied to. Booked well in advance for Semana Santa for 6 rooms, a group of 11. About 3 weeks before our trip, I was asked if I could be "in a nice Colonial hotel across the street" for the first night, just 2 of us. I accepted because this way they could probably get another reservation and make more money. I didn't have to, but I did this for them. When we arrived, we were told 4 of us would have to be somewhere else for the first night, and this place happened to be 3km away. They drove us back and forth, saying this way "it was the same" as staying across the street. They comped us 1 soup dinner as an apology, after I finally lost my shit and said it was unacceptable that they blatantly lied to us. The closest they came to an apology was saying they felt bad. Also, the hot shower didn't work half the time.

- Raquel (8/5): Good for a short stay - I had a good stay at Casa Francisco. The building seemed beautiful, though I didn't have a lot of time to explore. My window was facing the inner courtyard, so I kept the curtains closed for privacy. The shower was nice and the wifi worked well. Breakfast was included, cooked on the spot. It was very affordable for one night, so it provided good value. The location may feel a bit isolated when going out at night, but it's not far from the historic center.

- Thomas (8/5): Good Stay to explore Quito - I want to say "Thank you" to the staff responsible for breakfast/reception. Both were super friendly and helpful. They did everything they could to make the stay nicer. Rooms are classy with comfy beds and strong showers. The hotel is "open", meaning that there is a inner patio where rooms, reception, common area and rooftop is connected. It looks good, but can be a bit cold. Rooftop is currently under construction. It can be accessed for pictures, but seating areas are not usable. Some more amenities in the room would be nice.

The hotel is a wonderful oasis from the hustle of Quito. It's a small hotel and I recommend letting them know your arrival time so they are waiting for you.

- Erin (7/5): Great location, but not a great value. - Location is great and room was good size and clean. Staff is friendly. Staff was often unavailable or difficult to track down. Breakfast was just ok. There is an alarm that beeps in the lobby every 8 seconds which we could hear in our room and made it difficult to sleep. Also woken up by the doorbell in the middle of the night a few times which takes the staff a long time to answer so people keep ringing it.

- Karen (4/5): Do not stay if you don't speak Spanish - The excellent location was close to everything within the old town. The building was authentic with beautiful city views from the upper terrace. The breakfast was good. For those requiring, there was an excellent laundry service a few doors down. Unfortunately for this business Quito is having regular 6hr power blackouts which affected our stay because they have no generator. During this time there was no electricity so no lighting, WiFi, door bells for entry, and food. Because English is our main language and the host spoke Spanish we had a major communication problem. Apparently our booking did not exist for our host so our arrival was a surprise. The lack of communication was not helped by the lack of electricity and the major lack of upkeep in our room. Our first room had a broken shower head. Our relocation to the second had a disconnected waste pipe which also flooded the extra tiny bathroom.

Advertised as 24 hour reception but when I arrived in the middle of the night I had to wait outside for 5-10 mins until someone heard me.

- Judith (10/5): Excellent staff, good location, highly recommend - The breakfasts were excellent as well as a feast for the eyes. The staff were really helpful. My flight from Quito to Cuzco left in the middle of the night. The hotel offered me the room for about half a day for half price so I had somewhere to stay and pack for the flight. The staff also helped me book the Uber to the airport since I left at about 1 am. The room was a bit cold at that time of year, but there were plenty of blankets.

The family owners are very helpful and willing to go the extra mile to ensure a wonderful stay in their city. If you are looking to stay in a quaint historical building with a central garden area. lovely roof top area with a great view of the city- Day or Night- and modern updated rooms then the Hotel Casa Francisco is for you. Their cafe only offers breakfast meals.
