• Yap (5/5): grab some seafood is ok . market walking distance ! big lobster only rm500 [1.8kg] - choices are limited with only tuna bread sandwich & one cup of coffee [ prison food]...definitely not buffet breakfast! hotel is near jetty and facing main road, even with the double glazed glass panels ,,,,sound proofing is not so great , speed boat sound & motorbikes sound at night & early morning is challenging. book grace hotel is a better choice, not grace samudera hotel. like or don't like already written together above in what i like column.
• Hendrika (9/5): Great hotel for a short stay on Sabah before heading off to islands in the region. - The hotel is situated right at the jetty, thus easy access to diving spots and all the scuba diving/snorkeling operators in the area. We had a room high up and was fit for purpose for the short stay before we travelled out to the water villas. Breakfast is offered for 2 choices (off-site) - for a more Western menu the further option was better. But may be an issue if it rains and can be difficult to find.

• Ma (1/5): Bad - the breakfast was horrible. They mention few option on the menu board. However it was completely fraud. They are always out of stock regarding other options no matter how early you arrived. The first day of my stay (21st May), we went for breakfast around 8:00 am, for 4 breakfast voucher,they gave me 6 eggs and 2 bowl of beef noodle. And second day, they did the same thing claiming the option A was out of stock again while is was 8:20am. If you can’t offer the proper meal options as mentioned on the menu, why don’t just discard it…….. I was furious, even talked with the staff who supposed to be in charge on the phone. No action was taken after hearing my complaint and request, and this staff just explained that they didn’t prepare enough meal option due to the low occupancy of the season. as I see, all the other customers who came for the breakfast on the day was also quite upset.

• Arlyne (8/5): Very good - The staff is friendly... No need deposit just full payment... Include free breakfast... Nice sea view...Sea is so beautiful at morning... & night view also very good... Got balcony but quite scary... The room floor is dusty & a bit smelly maybe because the people bring wet clothes from island.,. The bed linen is smelly & curtain got stain... I love the hotel for their view.. But maybe they still new.. Need more improvement in cleanliness as customer need a good room to rest...
• Vinter (7/5): Overall is OK, but not excellent. Please provide secured wifi. - OK. Breakfast was served at a kopitiam nearby as the hotel does not have an F&B facility. The lobby is too small and does not have enough sofas or chairs for guests to sit, especially when need to wait for a taxi or a friend to come to meet. The wifi is open and unsecured. Please have secured wifi for guests. This is the part I did not like the most.
• Markscheffeltraining (7/5): Good - Great location for Semporna waterfront Overpriced in my opinion. I paid RM250 plus RM10 for one night. Very clean and a brand new Hotel. On arrival I was asked for a RM100 deposit, taken on my credit card. This is a pre-auth type arrangement but it takes a week to reconcile with the bank. Breakfast was not served in the Hotel, it is served in a little cafe/restaurant about 200 metres away, they don't tell you that when you book. Chair at the desk broke as soon as I sat in it but they changed it immediately. Lock on door would not work properly but they attempted to mend it. Room safe needed resetting. Room very nice. Bed very comfortable.
