• Catherine (7/5): Great location. Responsive host. A little too small for our family - Great location. A few steps from vaporetto, short walk to St Marks Square and Castello area for shops and cafes etc. Little outdoor terrace. Good shower pressure. Ground floor easy with suitcases. Big windows that opened wide for fresh air. Responsive host. Brought us a new kettle same day we arrived to replace a broken one and replied promptly to all questions. No screens on windows meant mosquitoes. Kitchen equipment lacking eg. not enough mugs, spoons, forks for the 5 of us. Small single bed not very comfortable for our 12 year old. Bedrooms a good size but no living room. Only a kitchen with a table that fitted 3 people and a 2-seater sofa. All quite cramped.
• Alida (8/5): Fantastisch! - Fantastische locatie, 2 minuten lopen van de vaporette. Fijne, betaalbare accommodatie met een erg attente host, wij vierden mijn verjaardag in Venetië, de avond daarvoor bracht de host een kaart, een fles bubbels en een taart, hoe leuk is dat! Iets meer pannen met goede deksels zou handig zijn.

Che sia un po' umido e rumoroso al piano terra a Venezia è normale, gli spazi ci sono, la posizione è perfetta, ma è talmente poco curato, che ci sono caduti abbondanti pezzi di vernice dal soffitto sui letti e sui bagagli. Davvero un po' troppo.

• Paul (8/5): Excellent location for a stay in Venice - The apartment is in an excellent location, a quieter area but good restaurants, vaporetto stop, and piazza san Marco all easily accessible. Good clear instructions from the host made it easy for us to find the location. It was perfect for a short stay for us & 3 teenage children. Very minor point, but a photo of the entrance door once inside the building would be helpful, as we weren't sure which one it was.

• Susan (10/5): A perfect location for Venice Biennale trekkers. - The location is Arsenale adjacent, so it is near the Vaporetto stop and a 10-minute hike to the Giardini. The shared space is restricted to the kitchen.

• Lisa (8/5): Convenient sanctuary - Great location, clear communication, good value for money. Perfect for the biennale. Well equipped and spacious. It can be a little noisy in the early morning as the bedrooms are at street level.

The host was in contact daily to ask if there was anything we needed and to ask how our holiday was progressing. All in all I would reccomend this property to anyone wishing to book it.

• Eva (9/5): Nice accomodation in a great neighbourhood - We found the accomodation to be much better than expected. The rooms are clean and spacious, even if the furniture is a bit old-fashioned. The kitchen and the bathroom seem to be renovated and are nice and very well-equipped. You are staying in a typical Venetian house in a typical neighbourhood, so you cannot expect it to be very light, and you might hear the neighbours walking up and down. but that was no problem for us. The location is perfect, only a few steps from the Vaporetto station Arsenale but in a very quiet street. We loved the neighbourhood since it is more quiet and has less tourists and still, you are only a short walk from San Marco/ San Zaccaria. It is also perfect if you plan a visit to the Biennale or if you head to the Lido. If you get a chance, check out the Arsenale complex- fascinating! To get there faster (instead of taking line 1 through Canale Grand) you can take a faster line to San Zaccaria and then walk. The hosts only speak Italian but with the help of translation programs that was not a problem for us. The map of where to find the accomodation here on Booking is accurate, but it would be helpful if the name of the accomodation actually was written on the door. That would have saved us from walking up and down the street a couple of times.

• Christopher (8/5): Great location, not luxury accommodation but good value. - Amazing location! Clean and easy to get to. Very near some of the amazing sites of Venice, and a vaporetto stop. Not exactly luxury accommodation, but a good place to spend the night. Small and quite dark. No aircon so can be hot and humid in summer, but fans provided in each room so not too bad. No views at all - in a narrow side street. But what can you expect, right? It's Venice and you're not paying a fortune!

Please correct the address so that others making the booking don’t loose hours like we did :( Overall property was neat and quite spacious with all the essential items in it.

• Satish (8/5): Very good - Location and comfortable bedrooms. 1. Windows were dusty 2. So many mosquitoes in the house. 3. No Aircon and no fan in the house.
• Bąk (2/5): i dont’n recommend It - location , I don't recommend it. The kitchen lacks basic tools such as knives. Mold on the tiles in the bathroom. The apartment smells of damp. It was noisy all night because the windows are not sealed. loud renovation in the stairwell since morning. There were strange pieces of paper everywhere with Italian instructions, written by hand, it was hard to translate.
• Keziah (9/5): fantastic appartmetn, location and ownt - location was amazing for access to the main city attractions, the apartment was sweet with Venice decor and comfortable rooms. there was space to cook and eat as well if we wanted with all pots and pans and spices wed need etc. fast communication with owner. the main sink wasn't draining very well for us but this would be a minor fix. the signs around the house were all in itallian so we had to translate to English before we could understand.
