- Emma (10/5): We had a great stay at the castle - I would highly recommend. The castle is beautiful and the hosts are warm and lovely. - Beautiful property. Each room is full of lovely antiques and interesting objects.
Wonderful hosts!
- Dillinger (10/5): - Incredible service. They went above and beyond. Such a beautiful stay. I will definitely be booking here again. We felt so welcomed into the castle. Such a cosy stay and friendly environment. No complaints at all.
- Maria (10/5): A unique and wonderful place to spend a weekend - The Castle is an amazing place full of beautiful and quirky antiques and trinkets. You cannot get better hosts than Ken and Graeme. They did everything to make our stay memorable, comfortable and enjoyable. The bedroom and ensuite were massive, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Ken & Graeme were spot on with their recommendation for places to eat and visit. We will definitely return. I wouldn't change a thing
- Claudia (10/5): A wonderful bed-and-breakfast – we will be back! - We had such a wonderful time at The Castle. The owners were so generous and wonderful to talk to. The property itself is fascinating and the rooms are incredibly comfortable. Beautiful bathroom, wonderful breakfast. I will be back next time I visit Robertson.
- Maria (10/5): Loved the house and the discussions would highly recommend a stay felt homely. Thanks to our hosts - Loved the building, rooms and gardens a step back in time so much to look at. The two owners were very hospitable. Afternoon tea and a delightful breakfast. Maybe coffee and tea facilities in the room would be good for evening beverage.
- David (10/5): - The whole place was amazing. Nothing.
- thomas (9/5): Too much fun . - Nicest hosties .cool pad .beautiful food . Two mozzie
Now only one .lol
Beautiful cars .
- maria (10/5): Beautiful and interesting place. - I liked the peaceful location with a beautiful garden.
We stayed In Scottish room which was enormous and very comfortable. I loved the place a lot, a bit mysterious and decorated like no other places I have been to. Graeme was very friendly and attentive.
He prepared good breakfast and it was served very nicely. One of the cats called Pippin went for a walk with
my husband and I. I also loved having a nice jug of water next to the bed. The furniture in front of the window was blocking the light and the view to the garden.
- Jos Neil (10/5): -
- Gillian (8/5): Graham was so lovely, so welcoming & just the perfect host. We will be back - The serenity, the service, it was so nice to be welcomed everytime we came back through the door. The cup of Tea on arrival, just everything really☺️ N/a
Can't fault anything
- Karen (10/5): Beautiful - Everything plus 2 beautiful cats!
- Caroline (10/5): A home fromJ - Wonderful hosts. Kind and welcoming. Went out of their way to make it feel like home Nothing
- Emma (10/5): -
- David (10/5): - Everything. Ken and Graham were fantastic hosts, felt like we made friends. We will be back and are recommending to our friends. Definatley worth a visit, it is a unique location. Best place I have ever stayed on booking.com. Thanks Ken and Graham Nothing
- Sharolyn (8/5): - Unique accomodation in a lovely setting. Fireplace in lounge room was cosy. Hosts were helpful and provided a delicious hot breakfast. Great coffee too. Room was a little cold overnight during our wintery stay. Great to have an electric blanket.
- James (9/5): a different place to stay, very unique in its construction and interior. - lovely choices for breakfast. Cooked to order pretty much, and plenty of conversation with the owners. the house consists of old antiques and unusual furniture so makes for interesting experience. nothing to report.
- Josephine (10/5): We will always remember the wonderful experience that we had. - So many unique features creating a magical masterpiece which the owners designed and built and created with artefacts from all around the world. We felt a that we were actually participating in a lifestyle lived by the aristocracy centuries ago! We had never experienced such genuinely warm hospitality in all our travels around the world. We weren’t disappointed with anything!!
- Richard (10/5): Wonderful weekend at the fabulous castle - We had a lovely stay with Ken & Graeme who were very accommodating. We had lovely chats around the fireplace, together with the our couple who stayed at the Castle. Graeme and Ken told us all about the Castle and gave us even a little tour. Our rooms had everything we need, including electric blankets. The shower was fabulous and the breakfast was very rich and delicious. It was a very lovely weekend.
- Anastasia (10/5): Exceptional - Ken and Graeme were delightful hosts. They made us feel comfortable. The place is gorgeous with interesting decor. 😍 we would go and stay there again
- Marianne (10/5): Beautiful, clean and very comfortable accomodation with lovely owners. - The Castle was absolutely stunning. Magnificent accommodation with very friendly and hospitable owners. We felt very welcome and the grounds and interior were just spectacular. A lot of history and great stories. Thank you so much.
- Kate (8/5): Very good -
- Hsu (10/5): Exceptional - Good breakfast comfy room, I like all the old stuff in the house, the staff even post my glasses back to me really satisfied experience
- Sreeni (7/5): A Birthday Tour that went terribly wrong 😞 - 1.The Scottish Bedroom
2.Nice hospitality from the owners. Unfortunately a Lot
1. This is not a hotel. It's a home stay where you share the space along with the landlords. Hence, little privacy.
2.The doors of the bed room doesn't have a locking provision and hence didn't felt comfortable.
3.There are no heated blankets
4.This place has 2 Cats ; Though they are harmless, our kids were frightened to come out of the room.
5.The wardrobes in the bed room are filled with personal stuff of the landlords. It would have been great if they locked the wardrobes and gave us a heads-up that they are not for use by the guests. It felt as if we were refugees at their home.
6.No proper info until you ask for.
7. No arrangements to make coffee, no fridge in the room. We planned our daughter's Birthday and had to put the cake in the fridge downstairs. It was frustrating to go downstairs and access the kitchen.
8. We don't have an idea whether wifi is available. It's not mentioned by the landlords.
9. This place is overstuffed with Antiques.
10. The shower is not comfortable as the water splashes on the floor while bathing.
11.The beds are not at all comfortable.
12.No guided tour of the property The landlords will politely answer the specific questions that you ask only.
13. The pub food was a disaster in Robertson.
All in all, my family was terribly unhappy with my choice and my daughter's Bday didn't go well as we were put off.
- Melissa (10/5): Graeme and Kev have a beautiful home and were the most delightful hosts. - Stunning grounds and beautifully furnished. Loved everything!
- Anonymous (8/5): Graeme, K Kitty and Pippin and their home, made this trip something I will never forget. Thanks! - The breakfast was lovely, and Graeme's coffee was yummy! I would have liked a lock on my door both on the inside of the room and on the outside considering we were sharing the level with another family and just for peace of mind during the night. It would have been nice if the loungeroom/fireplace was on when we got home on the Saturday night at 9pm.
- Scott (10/5): A memorable and unique experience to enjoy! - The hosts are superb, the Castle is beyond spectacular, it was spotless clean, and we had a great time. It was beautifully warm and cosy, especially the lounge room, in front of the huge fireplace. Breakfast was plentiful.
The bedrooms are upstairs, via gorgeous winding stairs. The rooms are spaceous. We couldn't get enough of the shower and great water pressure. Everything was excellent.
- Fiona (10/5): We felt welcomed and spoiled. - The owners were amazingly helpful and knowledgeable about the local area. N/A
- Ellie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jeff (9/5): Fantastic weekend away. - The house is quite eclectic. The decor is incredible, with antiques and knick-knacks everywhere. The hosts, Graham & Ken, were very friendly and accommodating.
It was my wife's birthday and the venue made it very memorable. The breakfast pot of tea was made with tea bags. Didn't seem to be in keeping with the traditional decor of the property. Really, this is a tiny gripe and almost said with tounge in check.
- Kim (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bianca (2/5): No locks - N/A because I didn’t stay after discovering there were no locks on the room or to enter the building. There were not locks on the private room with bathroom and there were no locks on the main entrance to the building. It felt very unsafe for a solo female traveler. It was also located down a bushy entrance slightly out of town. I ended up staying with friend rather than here because it felt too unsafe.
- Kylie (10/5): Amazing weekend away - Had an lovely time staying at The Castle. Our hosts couldn't have been more accommodating. Their amazing collection of antiques, the breakfast and gardens all made for a very memorable and unique stay.
- Shohreh (10/5): Amazing stay! We really enjoyed -
- Danielle (10/5): Exceptional stay in the Southern Highlands - Graeme and Ken are warm, wonderful hosts and lovely people. Their Castle is an exceptional place to experience exquisitely decorated rooms, super comfortable beds, a peaceful nights sleep and a delicious huge cooked breakfast. There is so much wonder to take in inside their beautiful home and the incredibly well maintained gardens and grounds. This accommodation screams opulence, cleanliness, attention to detail, comfort, warmth and style. You're in the stunning Southern Highlands but feel transported to Europe. It's well worth staying! Nothing could have been better.
- Wayne (10/5): Perfect stay. - Brilliant stay. Nicest and most engaging hosts imaginable in a beautifully built, maintained and decorated property. Very peaceful stay, close to Carrington Falls also..
- Anthony (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful building and grounds, with excellent hospitality. Nothing
- H (8/5): Very good -
- Peter (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jason (9/5): Fantastic hosts and nothing short of a memorable property - The Castle is a great central location in the Southern Highlands, convenient to Bowral and Moss Vale. The house itself is magnificent and one of the primary reasons we chose here to stay. There is great attention to detail and a raft of period furniture and collectables on display inside. The owners Graeme and Ken make sure that you are immediately welcomed and put on a great breakfast. A very enjoyable stay overall. Nothing bad to say, it was a great experience.
- Lyn (10/5): I am definitely going to go back and stay there. Lovely hosts, beautiful house and delicious breakfasts. - I loved everything. The entrance driveway lined with lights was sublime and the very welcoming hosts who made sure we were happy and comfortable. The facilities were first rate, the bedding very comfortable and plenty of towels. The garden setting was peaceful and beautiful. I also loved the two cats who were very friendly. The only thing I didn’t like was that I didn’t book for a week and only had two nights.
- Waterson (10/5): Exceptional - Ken and Graham are amazing hosts, and they have built an incredible home filled with collectable treasures. They put every effort into making your stay memorable.
- Elizabeth (10/5): an amazing experience - what is there not to like about a medieval castle? amazing experience and hosts delightful. there was nothing not to like. all incredible
- Moshe (10/5): The Magic Castle - The owners are kind people who help with everything, the building is like a museum with thousands of items including electric pianos and a huge record collection and two impressive vintage cars, excellent and special service Thank you to the owners. Everything is good.
- Lozdog (6/5): The Castle is like a museum with beautiful and interesting antiques. - Peaceful location
Lovely large room
Hosts were very friendly and helpful.
Close to the Robertson Hotel Breakfast unfortunately was not particularly enjoyable - eggs were hard and dry, bacon tough.
Would have like a Queen bed instead of the doubles
Shower not easy for older people
- Penfold (10/5): A beautiful clips into history provided by a couple of charming hosts - Breakfast was a little mixed up in cooking methods, lovely quince jam.The fantastic garden with friendly cats .Also the amazing decor with incredible historic pieces evywhere. The hosts are so warm & inviting. Aircon turned up a bit more
- Yik (10/5): cannot be better - everything is great nothing I didn't like
- Adele (10/5): Fantastic! - Partner & I enjoyed a weekend away here, the castle was wonderfully unique! Graeme & Ken were the perfect hosts very welcoming, room was spotless. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & would absolutely come back.

Generous opulant bedrooms-views & quality furnishings.
Cooked breakfast was exceptional-delicious & presented beautifully 👌
Fascinating, peaceful & perfectly located for visiting beautiful waterfalls or quaint shops & restaurants.
Well worthwhile, looking forward to a longer stay next time.
(Resident cats were also very friendly & sweet!)🐈🐈⬛️🐾 Parking was easy & safe however covered car accommodation would have made it perfect 👌

- Colin (10/5): Exceptional - Very quiet and peaceful

I wished I could stay with them for hours and chat.
And the antique house—oh, it was absolutely incredible! I enjoyed it immensely.
- Cassandra (10/5): Great BnB - Loved the decor, the hosts, and the location No complaints here
- Linda (10/5): Comfortable, clean, unique and excellent conversation! - ‘The Castle’ has beautiful grounds, decor and is very private. The hosts Graeme and Ken have put much love and care into ‘The Castle’ to make it a unique experience. However, it is the hosts themselves that make ‘The Castle’ such a great venue. Nothing was too much trouble! We had a brilliant time! We loved everything about ‘The Castle’!
- Joseph (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ross (9/5): Superb -
- Michelle (10/5): We had the most relaxing stay, and couldn’t have been made to feel more welcome. Spotlessly clean, and so much to see. - It is a one of a kind place. So beautiful. So peaceful. Just the sounds of frogs and birds from the amazing garden. The hosts felt like family. I can’t rate it highly enough There was nothing we didn’t love
- Amy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sharon (10/5): Exceptional - absolutely beautiful
- Nicole (10/5): Wonderfully unique property with welcoming hosts - The unique experience , magnificent antique furniture , incredible garden surrounds and lovely hosts
- Eloise (10/5): Lovely stay in Robertson - The property is beautiful. A lot of work has gone into maintaining and caring for the garden, which is very impressive. The hosts, Ken and Graham, are lovely and shared some very interesting stories with us.
- Claude (10/5): Exceptional - charming house with lovely hosts
- Rebecca (9/5): a place worth to visit - the property with lots of interesting things and vintage collections which is very special for a BnB accomondation. Graeme and Ken are super friendly and generous, Graeme played his precious piano and phonograph for us, we did have a good time at the castle. Ken showed me their garden and I can imagine how beautiful when seasons change. it's a very plesent stay after all! the bed is a bit soft for me, but it might be good for elders.
- David (10/5): We look forward to staying there again! - Graeme and Ken were great hosts and made us feel very welcome!
- Simon (10/5): Exceptional - A few weeks ago my fiancé and I stayed at the Castle Bed & Breakfast in Robinson and we are still talking about our stay.
We would describe it as a maximalist dream - there is so much character and history at the Castle. Every room has a story, every ornament has a place. We absolutely loved getting to know Ken and Graeme, and hearing about their lives and the creation of the Castle.
The rooms are also beautifully decorated and extremely clean. Ken and Graeme are wonderful hosts and cooked a fantastic breakfast for us.
We would highly recommend this stay to anyone who wants a unique experience in the Southern Highlands and is happy to have a coffee or tea with the hosts to exchange stories.
- Glenn (9/5): Superb - Unique, friendly, interactive hosts. Facilities. Shared accommodation with owners Narrow but awesome driveway
- Kelly (10/5): A beautiful retreat with the most generous hosts, my stay at The Castle was a time of warmth, comfort, and an abundance -
- Chun (10/5): Might come to visit and live again with the spring and flower season - Excellent hospitality with two of us (me and my wife) serving by elder and friendly owner Graham and Ken bothers to show his Castle stylish, showed us all the their vintage and two lovely cats sitting aside on the soft with heated fire stove. Warm and Harmony living in Robertson. Please don't expect it is five star hotel, but it is a magnificent castle house with piano. Don't need to go German to experience with lived in this hidden germ castle. Give them ten big LIKE.
- Olgs (9/5): Superb - How beautiful the property was
- Priya (9/5): Superb - The atmosphere and warmth of The Castle was heartwarming. The surroundings, the nature and hosts are brilliant and welcoming and felt very at home. It's a place you can deeply connect with We had gone during cold, wet weather so we didn't get to enjoy the outside of the property as much as we would have liked to.
