- Alizée (10/5): A peaceful paradise with amazing wildlife surprises! - We had a wonderful stay at this villa! The owner was incredibly helpful, providing clear instructions for the keys and giving us the best route to easily access the property. The villa itself is beautiful, very well-equipped, peaceful, and feels completely secure. The absolute highlight was our departure from Marloth Park: we were sent off by a whole family of warthogs, followed by giraffes and zebras right as we were leaving! We highly recommend this place for a safe and magical experience. nothing

- Percy John (10/5): We are blessed to have visited Marloth Park before and our stay at Sunset on Kingfisher was the best - Clear professional communication

- Oolsnirp (10/5): Always love visiting Marloth...if Sunset on Kingfisher is available, i'll book again. - Perfect location, nice pool and patio to watch the wildlife from. Love the screendoors to keep mozzies out. Braai area was closeby. Had lots of visits from animals, especially after Easter Monday when Marloth park quietened down a bit. Directions to the house was excellent, especially after the recent flooding made some roads a challenge to navigate. Not much, everything was great.
If it would be perhaps possible to provide guests with a bag of firewood and animal food (or option to purchase in advance) it would be great, since we arrived on Easter Friday and the shops in Marloth was closed, we did manage to find wood at the boomed gate however, so not a biggie.
Perhaps put some safety decals on the lounge glass slider similar to the bedroom slider, so people can see if it's closed and not easily walk into it, although it did create a funny moment or two.
- Loio (9/5): Lovely -
- Leandi (9/5): Amazing stay in the African bush - Everything at Sunset on Kingfisher was a wonderful experience. Getting to the house can be tricky if you don't have a high clearance car due to all the heavy rains, however it is manageable. There are plenty of animals roaming near the house and on your way to the accommodation. Clear instructions were received from Cindy prior to our arrival. The house is neat and have everything you need for self-catering. The aircon and fans were a blessing as it was extremely hot and humid. The pool, boma, and braai area adds to the experience in the bush. Crocodile Bridge (entrance to the Kruger National Park) is a mere 24 minutes away. There is a Spar, butcher, liquor store and more in Marloth Park which makes it easy to get everything you need. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Sunset on Kingfisher. Not a dislike a mere suggestion. If possible, it would be great to have an additional set of braai tongs or equipment to assist with your fire, picking up the wood and spreading coals as an example. A scrape to clean the boma and braai would also be good to have.
Rien
- Terence (10/5): - Waking up to wild animals at your doorstep was priceless 👌🏾 Nothing
- Deryck (9/5): - The facilities Nothing
- Laura (10/5): -
- Laura (10/5): Petit paradis - Tout était parfait.
- Maartje (10/5): Lovely stay - Very clean, comfortable, spacious house. Nothing
- Zama (10/5): Exceptional it exceeded my expectation - Perfect Nothing
- Wagner (9/5): -
- Charmaine (10/5): Nice break from City life as I am a Sowetan the pool is a big plus as I have kids. - It’s big and gives one enough privacy. From now on when I want to go to Kruger it’s my property of choice
- Van der Walt (10/5): -
- Pretorius (10/5): - Very neat and comfortable. We could check in a bit later. N/a
- Anees Seedat (10/5): My stay was excellent and relaxed. - Wildlife right on your doorstep, Excellent location near Kruger National Park, Peaceful, relaxed bush atmosphere, Poor internal road conditions

- Lorena (8/5): - Private place N/A
- Susana (9/5): -
- MarcJerling (10/5): Tranquil, Private, Relaxing, Perfect get away! - Loved everything, this is our second time here and again it exceeded our expectations. Cindy is a wonderful host and her property is amazing, great location, private and comfy. All the amenities you could need for a self catering house. 10/10 will definitely be coming back. Nothing to complain about at all. The property is great.
- Gloria (10/5): Everything was perfect. Cindy is exceptional. Really enjoyed our stay - Everything Nothing
- Welile P (10/5): Our stay was perfect, we had a great weekend. - The property was perfect. The pictures do not do any justice to the place

- russell (10/5): lovely house in a beautiful location cindy replied to any questions in minutes - property was clean and had everything you would need nothing
- tessa (8/5): -
- Govender (9/5): -

- Conrad (10/5): Really enjoyed staying at the sunset on kingfisher - We had everything we needed, it was a very comfortable stay for the few days we were there. There were lots of animals that came by and it was a real treat to look at them up close. Even the total block in the rooms make a power nap in the afternoon a real treat. Communication was not that clear on the emptying of the full rubbish bins and where to dispose of the bags.
- Kiewiet (8/5): Very good -
- Fourie (10/5): Quiet and lovely - Quiet and secluded, just what we wanted.
Will use the facility again

- Sean (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alena (10/5): Wonderful stylish home in a Merlot’s national park which is close to Kruger! - The house is located inside the national park. Be ready to drive via gate - entrance is free. Better arrive before sunset, no lights inside, total darkness 😅
The keys are left in the security office. Easy to take. The host is easy to contact via WhatsApp.
The house is very stylish, has well equipped kitchen. Good thing is conditioner in the living room! TV had Netflix ;)
Swimming pool is small but great to chill.
Be ready that the roads inside Merloth national park are unpaved (except the main road). Sometimes with stones. We had Haval and driving was ok. Nothing
- Latilla-campbell (10/5): Wonderful relaxing weekend! - Private and quiet setting in the Bushveld.
Great crockery, cutlery & linen.
Outside shower N/A
- Alison (10/5): Exceptional - The unit had everything we needed. It was clean and uncluttered. The deck and pool were where we spent most of our time but the aircon cooled the house beautifully for the nights It's wonderfully located and is quiet and private. We loved everything about this property and will def be back! That we couldn't stay longer !
- Temosotr (10/5): We truly enjoyed our stay, the kids had a nice swim and a great outdoor night experience. Loved it. - It was as expected, deep in nature with lovely views. Animals roaming, comfortable and just peaceful. I got my money's worth. The road leading to the destination is bumpy

I could see that everything in the house was put together to create an artistically pleasing surrounding- beautiful tasteful pictures on the walls, wood finished ceiling fans, beautiful bed linen. Fantastic shower-the pressure pump ensured a steady stream of hot water. The outside shower lent a romantic touch-a bushveld shower under the stars. A very effective cosy braai area. The large wooden table on the verandah was much appreciated during meal times and when we played board games. Huge, effective fridge and very well equipped kitchen Nothing nog to like.
