- Michal (9/5): Superb - The room was super clean as well as shared bathroom. Landlady was really kind, positive and helpful. I even got free Spanish quick lesson haha. Perfect location close to the airport (8 minutes of ride from the airport), it was just a quite difficult for us to find the correct house.
- F (10/5): Exceptional - The host was wonderful, helpful and kind! The place was perfectly clean and great for a stay before an early flight. We found a restaurant walking distance from the place. It was difficult for our taxi to find the place. I suggest communicating with the host ahead of time to clarify the address or at least have access to data to contact the host if ever you need help finding the place.
- Karen (10/5): Pura Vida and great hospitality in Alejuela - The room is large, clean, quiet, close to the bus station for travel to all parts of Costa Rica, and a quick ride to Rescate. It's very secure. There are just 2 rooms available, so people looking for socializing with other travelers need a different place. The hostess is amazing, going above and beyond to help. She even got me an appointment with her dentist the same day my tooth broke. Grocery stores, fruit stands, and an abundance of restaurants are within blocks. It's a little hard to find the first time, but easy after that. If you want tv, you will not find it here. I was there to see Costa Rica, not a tv, so it didn't matter to me. The lounge area has a toaster oven and electric kettle. I'm sure the hostess would store items in her refrigerator, but don't expect a full kitchen.
- Edward (8/5): Typical Alajuela Tourist Destination Close To Airport - The above question regarding requesting a quiet room was not part of my request. Booking.com inserts assumptions. I liked the location. No access to kitchen facilities, and no hot water to make coffee or tea. All food options required spending money at over inflated restaurants that were inconveniently located.
