• Sydnie (6/5): Great location and nice apartment but cleanliness is not up to scratch - Great location with very easy access to everything. We really enjoyed having our own space, which made the stay more comfortable and convenient First of all, having the pick up our keys from a local corner shop was a little strange. Unfortunately, the cleanliness was not up to standard. The cutlery had food left on it, there was also leftovers of food on all foil and cling film so that was another thing we couldn’t use and the bedding had visible white stains, which made us feel it hadn’t been changed. The bedding also didn’t smell fresh. There were hairs in the bath, and a noticeable mark on the wall near the bed that should have been cleaned. In addition, the bed was uncomfortable, with springs poking through, so we didn’t sleep well. The neighbours above were also very loud, although we understand this is not the host’s fault. These issues did affect our overall comfort during the stay.

• Nyasha Cynthia (3/5): The chairs, bedding were nasty! Stains all around the house. - The property was close to the event we were going to, that was great. The host we booked with was alright. The property was dirty!! The chairs had disgusting stains, the bed cover had stains, the pillow had yellow stains on the pillow case. I almost didn’t want to sit on the dining chairs and the sofa, only one yellow chair had no stains, the rest had big stains! The cupboards in the bedroom are falling apart. The host offered to give us another accomodation but it was too late because we were already out, returning the keys and then moving to another location would inconvenience us and it was soo late which was pointless. The host said the bedding had been washed- but i suggests he bins the bedding! Its nasty!

• Siettie (10/5): Cozy, Clean & Homely, Stone's Throw from Fun Digbeth - It was located about 10 minutes away from the Coach Station, walkable and straightforward with the St Anne's Catholic Church as the adjacent landmark. Keys needed to be picked up but it was from a store just round the corner where you can get food and toiletries supplies as well. No hassle getting into the building and the apartment. Convenient store just 5 minutes away. Apartment was lovely. Simple layout, separate bathroom, separate bedroom, but with living and dining and kitchen areas combined to give a spacious look. Great big windows that let in the light. Blinds were not complicated. Clean and neat. Classic monochromic interior with some pops of colors. Smart TV had Netflix, Wifi works well, heaters were easy to operate, no fuss. Room was nicely warm and cool at the same time. Plenty of electric outlets including USB ports around. Kitchen was fully equipped, stoves, oven and microwave worked easily. Plenty of crockery and kitchen serviettes. Bedroom was spacious and comfy. Wardrobe had plenty of hangers (not a specialty of many hotels nor apartments we've been to :P). Bedside lamps and power outlets enough to work on your laptops and have your phones charged at the same time from the bed. Full length mirror. Bathroom was lovely, simple and clean. Water and heaters were easy to operate. Main door locked manually with keys, old-school which we surprisingly preferred in these days. We were attending a concert nearby and needed a nice homely space to duck in and decompress for the weekend, and we got exactly that. Staff in charge of the apartment was prompt in communications and that really added to the ease we felt all weekend. Thank you for the wonderful accommodation! The area was a liiiiiiiittle quiet especially at night but it's not a far walk from main Digbeth and there were a few pubs around as well. The crockery set had some missing pieces but we had what we needed. The water heating suddenly didn't work at night, but the staff was kind enough to respond to our texts and gave us an idea of what was happening and what to do. We just waited till the next morning and it was okay again. :) Nothing to properly dislike really! Would recommend this apartment to friends coming into Birmingham!

• Lauren (8/5): Great location and well equipped. - Beautiful clean apartment. Comfortable bed. Great for longer stays as it is well equipped. The flat is even nicer than the photos and has everything. Location was great for us as it was close to the venue we were at a gig for (o2 institute) & the coach station is literally 5 minutes too. We requested an earlier check in and were pleased to receive a text to say the room was ready slightly earlier than the stated time. The owner is responsive to messages on here and via WhatsApp. Unfortunately the elevator was broken in the complex and as someone with disabilities I struggle with stairs. The shower leaked a hell of a lot of water all over the floor. And to our despair there was a lot of noise throughout the whole not.. distant in another flat but we didn't sleep due to this. I know that in this case the owner of the property is not at fault.

The bed is comfortable for our 3night stay. Would highly recommend. No parking in the building area. can find the parking nearby street for free.

We came for business and I couldn't even charge my laptop, absolutely rubbish customer service and 2 months later still have not been reimbursed for the stay. Very dodgy set up - avoid visiting at all costs.

The young man was very patient and yet absolutely friendly when handing over the keys. Very nice, big and clean apartment, very well equipped. You can walk to the city center but we took a taxi back.

The apartment is extremely spacious, clean, bright, decorated to a high standard, everything you need is there, we were very happy & comfortable for our 3night stay. Would highly recommend booking here with easy access to city centre, Coach Station, Digbeth & surrounding areas. Had a truly fabulous time. We loved the property!

• Wayne (7/5): Disappointed - For our destination, the location was fine. Apartment was well presented. Meet and greet was ok Area is up and coming, so, unfortunately, it's still a bit rough. Residential block smelling of cannabis, street littered with a dirty nappy and other material. However, our main problem was that there were 2 knives missing from the knife block. The TV did not work, and we had to retune. There was a wine set without a corkscrew, and when notified, our contact laughed at it having been stolen. More importantly, when we opened the microwave, there was a box of half eaten chicken wings in it. Obviously the cleaner had not cleaned.properly. what else was missed?????

• Kyle (3/5): Poor - A great location and an attentive host who was able to drop off some soap, as none was in the flat. Hot water is on a timer that doesn't provide enough for two showers, let alone any washing up or using the bath. The boiler is also incredibly loud and right next to the bedroom, so it'll keep you awake. As for amenities: No tablets are provided for the dishwasher; only two sachets of coffee and two teabags are provided; and only enough soap for two showers is provided.

It was a short walk into the city centre. The kitchen catering equipment was very limited. The mattress was too soft for me. Rubbish on the streets.

Lovely apartment and we will definitely be back Parking caused an issue as it was all getting re furbished and we were advised to park on the street but luckily enough we seen a parking warden and he was giving out tickets to the people on the street. We had to park about a 20 minute walk away form the apartment but good thing was we were close by all the shops so didn't need to go back and use the car.

• Michele (1/5): Bad - The apartment was well presented The bed was broken when we arrived, the minute we sat on it, it completely fell through. On investigation it was clear previously broken and a poor temp fix was made. Centre bar bent and the hole the nuts should support what should be metal legs but replaced with wooden ones . Bolt wete unable to be secured which caused the wooden slats to continually fall though Bed collapse 4 times in total. Thankfully I work in property so I knew to take pictures and a video, as since leaving the host has tried to charge us to replace the bed , however since informing him of the pictures and video confirming bed was faulty on arrival and the poor temp repair, I don't think he will be trying to foul us. Please be very mindful when using these service apartments as they will try and con you out of your money

Great monsoon-style shower over the bath giving the option for either. Limited parking could have been an issue but helpfully our host moved his car so thatch could have his space. Very much appreciated!
