- pierre (6/5): - Calme propre confortable . A fuir !!!!!!!
Hungarians are TOTALLY unfriendly and antipathics . In shops , in the street don't expect a smile or hello.....The most rude and sauvage people in the word. At the image of there dirigeants . Racists, homophobes....... Avoid this country

- pierre (5/5): - Calme , propre, confortable .

- Sher (1/5): Don’t book - Unsafe dirty and not worth €5 a night
The front door is broken
The bedroom door doesn’t lock
The hot water doesn’t work properly
The WiFi doesn’t work
The property is 50 years old with antique furniture that has dirty marks on them
They property has pink red lights like a brothel house and they refuse to refund. Everything
- Erik (1/5): Not comfortable, extremely dirty! - Not too much Hair was in bed , bathroom was extremely dirty , water was black!! we checked out after the first night and wrote an email but didn’t become any answer !
- Anandhu (7/5): Good -
- Elizabeth (6/5): Cute and convenient! - The property is located super central and access was easy. The building and apartment were very cute, old European style with cast iron railings, courtyard, balcony etc. The room itself was great for 3, spacious if only 2! The double bed was on a mezzanine level with a desk and single bed underneath. Huge windows.
The space worked for us (three girl friends on holiday together not spending much time in the apartment). The host was very friendly (though didn't speak English). We felt safe and that was the main thing.
Cute vibe, a little odd and quirky but worked for us! Don't recommend for people who can't do a lot of steps!
It could definitely have been cleaned better. There were some crumbs upstairs and some bits of the steps needed cleaning.
The kitchen was not great - not very clean and too small and poorly equipped to cook anything. We did not have access to the living area (not really a problem to be honest though) and the bathrooms were fine but could do with a refurbishment and deep clean.
Felt kinda like living in a room in someone else's apartment.

- Παράδοση. (1/5): Very bad if I had the chance I would ask my money back…. - Didn’t like something sorry. The facilities were not that good, very old and broken. I think the price was too much for what it provided. The good thing was that the room was big enough but I was waiting something better. Nothing… broken bed, broken doors, not a private bathroom. All the facilities were old.
- Nguyen (7/5): Good -
- Margaret (8/5): Bargain price for a budget comfortable safe apartment - The area was great very close to the city and easily accessible on a direct bus or walk.
The apartment was cosy clean comfortable and safe.
Access to it is very secure.
The kitchen had everything we needed and great fridge storage for your food and drinks.
Nice big bathroom but the shower wasn’t the best but did the job.
The room was very basic but clean and comfortable.
Staff very nice when we needed to speak to them. A lot of stairs to climb after a long day out but that’s clear on booking that there’s no lift.
The shower wasn’t great and there’s no air con but the room was cool.

- Nora (7/5): Pleasant enough, for me a place is just for sleeping and recharging, the city is out there! - Great location, close to the city centre! Beautiful apartment complex. Not too expensive price wise.
Big enough space, good heating. Unfortunately the room wasn't cleaned, filthy floor and nightstands, but those things happen. Talked to the owners about it, they were apologetic and kind and were going to see it got fixed for the next person.
Water was cold after a while in the shower, but perhaps people had showered before me.
- Blake (1/5): Bad - Room description is very misleading. It says a double bed and sofa bed, but it’s two dirty mattresses on the floor. The mattresses have hairs (see photos). The room description also made it sound like the kitchen and the facilities were in the same room we booked. The entry system is also poor, the rude couple that rents out one of the rooms make you feel like you cannot go out because it's too late at night and you might make noise. Then the Hungarian druggy woman from the rude couple wakes up around 5am every morning and deliberately makes a load of noise in the kitchen including using the microwave and singing. You will never get a decent night's sleep staying at this property.
- Arsalan (2/5): Very poor - Its very affordable. It doesn’t have any lift but its ok.
The other guests who were living there i don’t know they were guests or owners known.
Even if i opens my room door they come to me and say dont shout baby is sleeping. 24/7.
They should have mentioned beforehand that there will be baby in another room and you can’t make a little noise also.
- Oscar (2/5): Beautiful city but bad apartment - Not very expensive and well located This apartment has many flaws.
1. The photos are misleading as the spaces are much smaller than the effect of the photos and in our room there was a sofa bed in the photo which here was just a very small uncomfortable mattress. Electrical outlets and lamps are dilapidated, not working or dangerous. The 2 chairs in the bedroom are broken and dangerous.
2. Concerning cleanliness, the communal areas were not clean when we arrived and they were not washed during our stay even though we were there for 5 days and the communal areas are shared with 3 rooms, so potentially 9 to 10 people.
3. The sanitary facilities are in poor condition: the toilet is detached from the floor and therefore unstable, and the shower head sends water in all directions through the faulty pipe.
4. The kitchen is totally under-equipped, with only a few pieces of cutlery and a single very small pan which is supposed to be used by all the tenants (9 people). During our stay, everything was monopolized by the other tenants - we didn't even know if it was communal utensils or theirs.
5. No soundproofing, so very noisy with the other tenants.
6. Don't be elderly or disabled, there are 3 large floors to walk up and the bed is on a mezzanine with a very steep staircase.
7. Finally, when I tried to contact the landlord I never got my answers, once I was told to wait and the answer didn't come, once they answered 24 hours later when we had already left the apartment.
All this to say that it is indeed very inexpensive but expect a poor quality apartment.
- Böröcz (8/5): Very good -
- Roxans (1/5): Do not recommend - Owner is friendly, location is good, room was spacious, nice and clean bedsheets and towels I gave it one star for 3 reasons:
1. The lock to my room was very simple, the type you can open with a piece of metal. When you live with strange people ( see nr 3), it feels very unsafe.
2. The lock to the bathroom was half broken and I almost locked myself inside. Because of this, I didn't shower during my 2 day stay because of fear of using the lock.
3. In one of the other rooms lives a family with a child. They seem to be long term tenants because they behave like they own the place and shout at you in Hungarian if they don't like something. They fought loudly until early morning hours and were generally rude. Thank God I only booked this place for 2 nights only.
- Sandra (9/5): Superb -
- Ceren (5/5): Passable - The landlord was very helpful and his information was sufficient. There was no problem with the house. I did not like the people we shared the house with.
- Jason (10/5): Exceptional - Big bed
Great location.
Quiet room.
Big shared kitchen and bathroom
- Danny (1/5): High price low value dirty old depressing apartment. Not Recommended. - The only good thing about this apartment is the location. And that owner responded quickly when the key got stuck in the door. This could have been easily prevented by giving them each another color. This is the most depressing room I ever stayed in in Budapest in the last 10 years. It's advertised as a Deluxe room, while it's more like a dirty storage of furniture. The bedroom window is closed with shutters (no ventilation). There is no single item on the walls or any other decoration. De batthroom, kitchen and toilet are old, shared and not cleaned each day. There's no trash can on the room. The WIFI is very weak (forget Netflix and Youtube). I ended up sleeping in the living room on a matress on the floor. For this money it's possible to get much more value in Budapest. I would not recommend it to anyone. Besides the keys when checking in, the owner did not respond any more.
- Balanchivadze (8/5): Very good -
- Galina (5/5): Passable - Location The sink was blocked, it was really hot there-1 fan for 2 rooms, the curtains were nearly fall down
- Uğur (1/5): Bad - Central Very dirty
- Guillermo (1/5): Huge disappointment, worst host. - Absolutely nothing Everything. we are very disappointed with the apartment. There is no clean, we found a couple of razor blades used, one of them just behind the bed, which is quite dangerous and unclean. Also inside the wardrobe, there is an used condon, absolutely disgusting. The WC is not well placed and it moves while you are sat. There is a lot of dust and rust and cobwebs in the ceiling. The wooden upstairs to the beds are dangerous because of the railing (broken and unstable). It's not a healthy place to stay. Also the room is very very small for 3 people.
Finally I made a complaint to the host, he told me that he will solve asap the problems. After that nothing happened, wrote him back and 0 answers, we left the apartment before midnight and we booked another one. I will try to ask for a money refund.
- Stent-torriani (8/5): Very good -
- Vahid (1/5): Worst place - I can't believe how this property is listed in booking, it is not possible to stay even for a minute,
The smell of damp, unventilated, dirty like a warehouse that hasn't been cleaned in years.
without bed!
- Natalia (3/5): Disappointing and very underwhelming - The location was very central and convenient The photos that are advertised are very deceiving. Our room wasn’t even photographed. It was run down, the railing to go up the stairs was broken and loose, making it very unsafe to go down the steep steps. They told us it was a two bed room. It was one blow up bed and one mouldy mattress without bedding. Additionally, we found old dirty underwear next to the shelves and the window nets were ripped. Lastly the shower head stand was broken, causing the whole bathroom to get soaked when showering.
- Lotfi (7/5): Good -
- Joel (4/5): Disappointing - Very good location. Easy check in and check out. Good communication with host. Overall not very clean. Cobwebs, dirty surfaces, no AC so very warm, not very many kitchen utensils. But hey, amazing location and very cheap so still worth it.
- Sumarava (9/5): Superb -
- Lara (1/5): Bad - Nothing Everything
- Ilona (7/5): Good -
- Juan (2/5): Very poor - The room looked clean. The pictures were made to showcase the "better" angle of the room. The building is old and not renovated. The room was part of a shared flat. The bathroom door cannot be locked. The stairs to the beds were unstable and dangerous. There were no actual beds, just mattresses on the floor. As I was staying with my older mother, we decided not to stay at the place. It is not family-friendly. Although I booked without a money-back guaranteed, Contacted the renter about the possibility of getting some money back. He never replied.
- Muhammad (6/5): good location but not very clean. the toilette, bathroom, kichen was not very clean. - The location is good. it on a walking distance to the city center and many other famous places in Buddhapest to visit. The bathroom and toilette was not very clean. the washbasen was completely closed and not passing water. the toilette was leaked and the toilette door is always open. I called the owner the repair it but he did not. the kitchen is not fully equipped. However, the rooms inside are fine. It is on the third floor without lift.
- Mihaly (8/5): Very good -
- Hamza (1/5): Bad -
- Beth (7/5): Good - Amazing location and easy check in process. Great option for a last minute trip to Budapest! The host was friendly and accommodating in our messages. The bathroom door didn't lock or even close all the way. The shower sprayed everywhere and didn’t have anywhere to hang it, so you have to shower with it in your hand the whole time. The door to our room was broken also
- Alexander (4/5): Disappointing - The room is dark, some of the lighting didn't work, you can't lock the toilet and shower
- Timotej (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jayson (9/5): Convenient location at a fair price. - I like how it was centrally located near Nyugati train station. Upon booking, he will ask you to send your ID and then he’ll send you the code. It’s located on the third floor. The two rooms had a comfortable bed, couches, and a dining table. He set up a third bed on the floor to accommodate a third guest. It comes with a wash machine, but we didn’t use it. There is also a large desk in the bedroom, so nice place to write at. We paid the equivalent of $30 for 3 people per night. There is a two night minimum. As expected from the reviews, the sink and bathtub drains were very slow draining. I used a plunger to try to free up the clogged drain without success, so I informed the owner about it. Other than that, the place was a pleasant apartment to stay at.
- Avi (6/5): Pleasant - The property was very well located and well priced. Someone stole our food from the fridge and in our room a lot of furniture was loose.
- Saboor (5/5): Passable -
- Andrea (8/5): Very good -
- Ondrej (5/5): Passable -
- Betânia (7/5): Good -
- Brown (8/5): Very good -
- Yvonne (6/5): Good value for money - Central good location, simple but cozy room and pretty clean and came with fan heater. Toilet wasn’t attached properly to floor so leaked, shower pressure very weak and had a strange system to make water hot. Kitchen was a bit unhygienic.
- Shajan (1/5): Bad -
- Amna (6/5): overall worth the money - the space lack of heating system for the rooms
- Linda (7/5): A neat and comfy room, if you're looking for a budget option this is it! - The room is very cute, the towels and bedsheets were fresh and neatly folded. The room was very clean upon our arrival. The room is close to a lot of sights in Budapest. For those arriving by car, there is a parking in the Weiner Leo Str. For 3 people, the room is very small. The wood stairs are steep which I underestimated traveling with my parents, they were afraid of climbing the stairs. The wood is also creeking when you move, so you might wake up as soon as someone else moves. The bathroom situation is like a Hostel. To get to the room, you have to climb about 90 steps of stairs which is difficult if you have heavy luggage or elderly people with you.
- Anonymous (1/5): Bad -
- Alzbeta (2/5): do not expect nice or cosy rooms, but old and broken apartment - big rooms, 2nd day evening the owner provided us with a small convector heater (but I had to repeatedly ask for turning the heating on) it's very old apartment with a very old equipment, not working heating!, not working wifi, dangerous tankless gas water heater from which is falling black pieces of something on the bathtube, not working lamp, broken curtains and it's dirty...
- Gatchalian (8/5): Very good -
- Ester (5/5): Passable -
- Churchill (7/5): Good - Nice staff Kitchen could be more interesting)
- Fab (4/5): Disappointing -
- Eleanor (5/5): Passable - Good location, friendly host, value for money Toilet was broken-every time you flushed raw sewage would come out.
Fan was broken in room
Wifi didn’t work. Asked host for password and got ignored
- Leonie (7/5): Good -
- Tom (2/5): Run-down place that is not worth the price. - The location is quite good, with a main train station nearby and lots of restaurants, bars, etc. in the direct vicinity. Easily the worst value for money I've ever had. Where to start? Room was not ready at official check-in time. Instructions for self check-in were incorrect. Cleaner was still in the room when I was told to check-in. Place is very run-down, with bad maintenance and no decoration at all. I think some prisons look better. Internet was not working (to be fair, the site didn't promise there would be internet). There is a functioning router, but the owner doesn't know the password. Sort of typical....
- Oscar (5/5): Passable -
- Emma (3/5): Poor - Quiet Pictures do not represent the property, the bathroom was dirty with the washing machine leaking water constantly over the floor
None of the guests were able to use the wifi
- Julie (7/5): Good location for discovering Pest, with tram and bus stops close by. - Property was basic and clean. Had all the facilities we needed. We stayed in the mezzanine room - it’s worth noting the staircase is very steep. From the photos, I expected there to be a common area with sofas and dining table, but this is not the case. The WiFi wasn’t working.
- Luke (9/5): Superb -
- Corchero (8/5): Very good - Kind staff and great location
- Anđela (6/5): Pleasant -
- Christopher (9/5): Superb -
- Levente (3/5): Poor -
- Isabel (8/5): Very good - Great socialisation area and kitchen. Location perfect distance from everything. Small and not much room for your belongings, particularly if your are backpacking. Only two showers between all women and two toilets between all guests within the hostel. No plug sockets near the bed either which found to be impractical when solo travelling.
- Mea (4/5): Disappointing - The hostel did not have an elevator. There were no employees so we had to check in ourselves by taking a key from a locked box that was attached to a fence outside the hostel. We thought that we had booked a bed for two people but it was just a mattress in a loft. The toilet and bathroom were absolutely disgusting and clearly not have been cleaned in a long time. The toilet also leaked. I would not recommend this hostel.
- Joe (8/5): Good - Brilliant bedrooms and sitting room. Not the cleanest
- Margaret (8/5): nice clean safe and great area for everything local - great location, lidl close by , easy to access the city both walking and public transport.
Had everything we needed.
Everything was safe that was left in the kitchen and other communal areas.
Nice people staying there. The 3 flights of stairs were hard going at times and really needed aircon as the room was way too hot.
- Carolina (7/5): Good - The location was very good, and the room for three people was very spacious and comfortable. The bathrooms were not that clean, there was a time when we didn't have toilet paper.
- Anonymous (8/5): would reccomend - it was a great location for the price the cleaners took toothpastes and alcohol when it was left in the apartment
- Andreas (8/5): Overall good housing - Centrally located but still quiet surroundings during night. Good facilities. Noisy between the other rooms in the apartment
- Kosar (5/5): Passable - The kitchen was fully equipped. It had iron, which wasn't listed on booking. The location was great.
Contactless check-in and check out. The room and the toilet were not clean. The beds were fine, but the rest was not clean at all. They had daily cleaning for the bathroom but since they were not properly working it got very dirty after an hour.
No elevator and the room is on the 3rd floor.
- Sin (9/5): Superb - the staffs were really really helpful. they went out their ways to help us with our requests.
- Alexander (8/5): Very good - Indeed centrally located, good communication from the staff fairly unclean, lacking basics like toilet paper, in general reminiscent of the formerly glorious capital - grand size and potential but creaking at the seams and fallen into disrepair...
- Zehra (9/5): Superb -
- Denis (10/5): Exceptional - Everything is fine for the few night's stay
- M.muzamil (5/5): Totally over expensive according to current condition of apartment - Staff was very friendly and available for quick support.
Kitchen was fully equipped with all necessary utensils and crockery stuff
Location of building was central, Everything was on walking distance. Floor was cracky/noisy, you can hear each an every step you can on the floor. Was irriating especially during the night.
Bathroom sink tap was broken
Bathroom floor was always wet due to tap leakage
Apartment is on 3rd floor without lift
All these things makes the apartment over expensive
- Aleksandra (8/5): Very good -
