• Guest (7/5): The day was just good - The people. 1. Breakfast was terrible, with extremely limited choices 2. The payment method was only by cash for the locals.. I prefer the use of Bank/credit cards for locals and foreigners. 3. The neighbourhood was terrible.

Great value for money considering the rates for B&B. The access to the facility is not good and location is somewhat in not a very secure area considering the several dark spots while walking to the main road at night

The windows in my room on the 5th floor were not locking properly and cold wind was entering the room entering the room all night. But it was okay on the second day as it was not windy outside.

• Eva (8/5): Für eine Nacht ok, wenn man das Hotel nicht verlässt - Unterkunft selbst sauber, auch das Essen war gut Für eine Nacht war es ok zu dem Preis. Die Unterkunft ist mitten in einem Gebiet, wo man aus Sicherheitsgründen nicht nach draußen kann.

• Treivus (7/5): Nice affordable hotel, but far from the centre in a sketchy neighbourhood. - A nice and clean place with very friendly and accommodating staff. They arranged a delicious early breakfast at 6 am. The room is large. The balcony adds a beauty. The area is a large African flea market and doesn’t look safe especially at night. I was advised to avoid taking anything with me and stay in the hotel when it’s dark. The shower was broken and the water poured slightly from the shower head. The access card to the room didn’t work at the beginning so I had to run from the 5th floor to get it fixed as there’s no elevator.

• William (10/5): Clean, comfortable and friendly staff - The staff were super friendly and helpful. The hotel was hard to get to, but the room was incredibly clean. The stay was perfect and I would stay here again.

• Ravat (5/5): Clean, no frills place but loud next door to an active church. - Clean, no frills, hot water, firm mattress; good location once found. Gated compound with guard. Average breakfast with tea eggs and bread. Directly next to a large church with songs and music late and early in the morning (awaken at 6am!) Difficult to find, off a rough road on back streets. No credit card machine, took cash only and didn’t give full change.
• Jan (5/5): Aardig en behulpzaam personeel - Mooie ruime kamer. Hard bed. Karig ontbijt. Vanaf 6 uur veel lawaai uit een luidspreker naast het hotel.
• Sally (8/5): - The staff were friendly and helpful. There was food on site which was an added bonus. The beds were particularly comfortable Breakfast was always lovely with traditional elements. The hotel is tucked away and not well known by taxi drivers. My room had issues with the shower so either cold water or boiling water but nothing in-between. Water would sputter too (Please be careful as there's an incresed risk of scalding). I reported the issue and in fairness they tried to get it fixed but nothing changed. . The hotel is in close proximity to a church and a mosque so had tendency to be noisy late at night and early morning. Also no lift in the hotel though staff helped with carrying bags etc.

• Wehland (10/5): Really great place for the price. Food menu is basic, but also a good price. Would recommend - It's not a luxury hotel, but for the price Aves exceeded my expectations. If you want quiet, get a room as high up as possible to reduce noise. That hallways outside your room can get noisy at times. There is no elevator. The neighborhood just has dirt roads, but it is charming and the people are friendly and respectful.

• Derek (10/5): Short and sweet - good place to rest after Meru! - Modern property in Mianzini, looks out of place surrounded by unpaved streets - but the area around is lovely with shops having everything you might need and only a short walk from city centre. The staff (especially the host Loveness (excuse me if I wrote the name wrong) are amazing and she saw that we had everything we needed… lovely breakfast, comfy bed and shower, even though more expensive than what we normally pay, this place lives up to its profile and can definitely recommend!

• Jimmi (7/5): Good value for money, but don't expect to be wowed - Very new and clean property with friendly staff. Good breakfast with pretty good variety. Dinner very good at very fair prices. Multiple places to find excellent street food right around the corner. In general, good value for money, being only a 10 minute walk to the center of Arusha. Nice views (depending on what floor and side of the hotel you're on). The hotel is located at the end of a very uneven dirt road/alley, which some may also not feel entirely safe walking at night (we had no issue with it, though, and it's definitely not a "bad neighbourhood" by Tanzania standards). While the hotel is definitely new and clean, it feels very "modern Chinese design": A bit generic with not much character to it, and some basic niceties have been overlooked (such as a dry place to hang your towel while showering, strange airplane-like door to the bathroom, strangely placed electricity outlets, and quirky window mechanisms). Walls - inside and out - also seem very thin, meaning quite a bit of noise from the streets and the corridors outside the rooms.

• MIG (8/5): Definitely would consider staying at the property again - Everything important to me when its comes to choosing a hotel, that is: location, staff, value for money, cleanliness, security, technology (room access and reliable wifi), backup generator, comfortable beds, spacious room and bathroom, quiet environment; the property exceeded my expectation. I wish the Hotel maintains and keep up its standards. Breakfast could be beefed up a bit, other Hotels offer much for less.

• Peter (9/5): Modernes Hotel, nicht weit aber versteckt gelegen. Preis/Leistung!! - Großes allein stehendes Gebäude, eröffnet im Mai 2024. Alles daher entsprechend neu, modern, gepflegt, funktionell. Sehr ruhige Lage, Null Verkehrslärm. Das Hotel liegt 100m entfernt von der nördlichen Umfahrungsstrasse, aber wie so oft gibt es keine echte Adresse, die Taxifahrer kennen es (noch) nicht und müssen dreimal anrufen. Zu Fuß ist man in 15 Minuten im Zentrum von Arusha, also eigentlich nicht weit.

The sound of roosters in the early morning (I know this is little bit outside your reach). The light sensors in the hallway are noticeable in the room and go on/off too fast. Maybe put some blinding foil on the windows above the room door? And the tv in the room isn’t connected to anything. And the mattresses are too hard for my liking (this is personal preference)

• Jürgen (8/5): Unschlagbares Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis in einem nagelneu Hotel - Ein nagelneues Hotel, erst vor neun Monaten in Betrieb gegangen. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis erschien uns unschlagbar. Wie zahlten rund 22 € für das Zimmer, also elf Euro pro Person und das inklusive Frühstück, welches einerseits individuell angefertigt wurde, andererseits nicht sehr große Auswahl anbot. Gut, funktionierende sehr leise Klimaanlage. Moskitoschutzgitter am Fenster. Das Internet war mehrfach ausgefallen. Die Warmwasserversorgung zum Fuschen ließ leider auch zu wünschen übrig, insbesondere morgens, wenn man nicht zu den ersten Duschern gehörte

Je voulais rendre les clefs 2h45 plus tard pour déjeuner là-bas puis partir à l'aéroport, on m'a demandé de payer une demi nuit! Aucun geste commercial.

Apart from that i really liked the calmness of the place,humble staff and every other thing! One thing they need to improve is not to ask for money first every now and then when ordering something e.g. i ordered dinner at the restaurant,they are not preparing it till you pay for it same as any other service
• Jan (10/5): - Najlepszy stosunek jakości do ceny z jakim mieliśmy do czynienia czy to po podróżach na Zanzibarze, czy w Tanzanii kontynentalnej! Piękny pokój, wspaniały personel, pyszna kolacja. Zarezerwowaliśmy pokój z klimatyzacją, przy czym na początku otrzymaliśmy pokój bez klimatyzacji. Jednakże po zwrócenie uwagi na ten fakt od razu i z uśmiechem przydzielono nam nowy pokój - już z klimatyzacją :) Faktycznie nie jest wcale aż tak łatwo tam trafić za pierwszym razem (nawigacja troszkę wariowała). Niemniej nie ma to wpływu na moją ocenę, ponieważ reszta była wyśmienita.
