• Mark (7/5): Enjoyable family spot - Older property which is standard for Wildwood, but overall clean, quiet, family friendly, and great location. The location, mini-golf, and the outside area were very nice. It was close to the beach and the end of the boardwalk.

Only complaint. Towels!!!!!! As thin as a pancake and fabric was coming off after showering. Please update your towels!

• James (6/5): Pleasant - Close to the beach. Nice staff. Clean on site diner with good food Way overpriced. We had a big room with 2 bedrooms. You have to walk through 1 bedroom to get to the master. The master didn't have air conditioning at all. It was real hot and I barely slept. After paying over 1000 for 2 nights, they required $20 cash fir a room key deposit.

The breakfast was fabulous and blew away the pancake place in Cape May away. I wanted a lamp in the room instead of the overhead thing.

• Joe (10/5): THE BEST ONE YET ❤️ - The property was clean and very short convenient walk to the splash park/ playground and the beach. It was a beautiful view of the beach. The breakfast in the restaurant thats located downstairs was yummy even for our picky eaters. The rooms had plenty of space kitchen had the Utensils needed. We stayed in the K type room on the 3rd floor overlooking the pool which was a great experience for our children ages 1-12 years old. I even took a splash in the pool after a nice poolside tan and music in the background. I will rate the Admiral Resort 10/10 and will definitely will be returning for our family getaway ❤️ I have no complaints it was a good place to stay and will be returning.

We had the kitchenette room and the cabinets and all looked very nice and spacious. Location is excellent. Staff is very nice . We had a great time. I think they should invest on the beddings. Sheets were getting off and and pillows were flat.

For example, we did not know that they had a laundry room. We hope to come back in the future for a longer stay without the worry of laundry pilling up. The overall facilities looked dated, but the room itself was sufficient

Not fair some guests stay in a new renovated room and other guests pay the same price for a non-renovated room. Did not realize vaping/smoking was allowed on the premises Pool rules should be enforced.

I asked for a balcony and was put on the deck level which was good for the kids but very packed and cramped trying to get through to our room and everytime we opened the door to our room we had people crowed all over. Couldn't open the window blind other wise people are looking straight into our room

Although this Hotel had friendly staff and was clean there was more updating that needed to be done. Especially the bathroom and the furniture in the room I stayed in! Had a great view from balcony but very less desirable from inside with the small window Bathroom, small window and furniture. My a/c unit was leaking and seemed to be on its last leg and was noisy!

• Lydia (1/5): Too many ppl smoking cigarettes for a children resort - I read the reviews and looked at the website thinking this would be the perfect place to bring my 3 granddaughters. The website and reviews were deceiving. They must’ve edited the pictures to make it look more modern. Exterior Renovations are necessary. It’s old looking, the paint is chipped all over. I’m not fond of the railings. The golf course is old. It was sadly misleading and I won’t be back.

Attached restaurant- Admiral's Table had fantastic food and service for breakfast. 1 block to the beach. Finding a parking spot later in the evening can be tricky, but we found street parking across the street, so no big deal.

• Matthew (10/5): Hidden Gem - Especially Family Friendly - The staff was very kind and patient, we had a few questions leading up to our stay in which they were happy to answer. We arrived before the check in time and our room was ready so they let us check in early. When we entered the room they had decorated as we had a birthday during our stay. The property has organized activities throughout the day for the kids which were so cute, our kids LOVED them and looked forward to them each day. The mini golf was also just redone so the kids had a blast playing that too. The rooms were newly renovated and felt clean and bright. Housekeeping came every day to make the beds, give fresh towels, and tidy up. One day they had left all the towels on the beds in cute animal shapes (the kids loved it!). Additionally, there are nice grills on property for guests to use. We saw the workers cleaning them every single morning which was nice to see. There is an ice machine which made trips to the beach seamless and also laundry facility for an extra (reasonable) fee. We ate at the restaurant and received 10% off our bill. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced. If for some reason we weren't able to stay at the Admiral, we would still come here for breakfast! It exceeded our expectations as well. Overall it was a very unexpectedly incredible last minute get away. My only "complaint" was that the property was not "non smoking". Guests were allowed to smoke throughout the property which was a bit of a turnoff if you were on the mini golf course, sitting at the outside tables to eat, or trying to relax outside your room. It definitely would not dissuade me from staying here, I was just surprised smoking was allowed. I wish there was a designated smoking area instead of having the entire property allowing smoking.

The bathroom and floors had been replaced but the walls had lots of black marks and needed repainted. There were water stains with possible mold on the ceiling in the bathroom and bedroom near the ac vent. I did let the front desk know and they said they'd have maintenance look at it but it seemed to have been there awhile. Also there are no outlets in the sink/vanity area to plug in a curling iron or hair dryer.

• Paula (7/5): We enjoyed our stay just think some upgrades are definitely necessary and that the pricing was a little steep! - The location, pool, friendly staff, beach view, 3 bedroom room was pretty spacious, mini kitchen great sized fridge, tiled flooring in room, updated bathrooms. We enjoyed our stay overall! Oh and my kids liked some of the contests but especially the movie night! Ty It was a bit expensive especially compared to what we typically spend (we spend less for 7 -8 day stays at other resorts) but room was more updated. We had to request extra cleaning for the room floor it was very dirty (left feet and towels black) once cleaned it was fine. Room that sleeps 8 did not have enough plates etc. There was not enough towels had to request. No shampoo or conditioner (had to request) and no paper towel starter roll also no tissue box. 8 person room only gets parking for 1 car. Some suggestions: upgrade/replace mini golf grass, repaint/upgrade outside of building and furniture by bbqs. There should be at least 1 nightstand by each bed where possible. Better pillows they were too flat. A hook or 2 in each bathroom for clothing or towels. In living room instead of tiny table w 2 chairs a couch or full sized kitchen table would be better. And if possible a lamp for dimmer lighting when family is gathered. I know these upgrades cost time and money but some are easily fixed. Also why doesn’t the middle room have a tv? Oh and please get better tv channels if possible!
