• Simone (8/5): POSIZIONE CENTRALISSIMA, OTTIMO PREZZO PER LA ZONA - Posizione ottima, comoda per girare a piedi la città. Due ascensori a disposizione, check in da remoto molto agevole, con personale disponibile su whatsapp. Casa luminosa e ben divisa, salotto ampio e confortevole. Bene il wifi, cucina con frigorifero e forno a microonde. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, data la città e la zona centralissima Parcheggio a pagamento ovunque. Bagno un po datato, problemino con il doccino appeso, scarico con presenza di ruggine. Cucina funzionate, ma non troppo curata (tubi in vista rovinati)

• Jon (6/5): Great location with very little amenities. - Location to Semana Santa parade was outstanding. Very Bare bones. Kitchen was very very small and washing machine did not work. Lack of simple kitchen ameneties like coffee mugs. We literally walked around the corner and bought two for less than $2 dollars. I ended up just leaving them there as our little contribution to the next renters…but it was the little things like that just showed lack of care with the property.

The apartment was dirty—sheets, pillows, towels and curtains were unclean, which gave me skin and eye allergies. The sofa bed was rusty, smelled bad, and unusable, it was covered with pillow to unsee its bad quality. The host promised someone would give us the keys but made us go and search for them and ignored my messages by telling me it’s Saturday no one is there to give you the keys . The main bed was unstable and moves everytime we sit on it due to poor quality. Very disappointing.

• Irfan (1/5): very bad host and property .noisy and light issues plus host lies. - Didnt like anything about this property,Picking key was very very difficult ,the key safe was far from property and also very difficult to pick up as couldn't find ke safe .it was not accurate description.very poor conversation with host.very unresponsive. location was in city ,it was very noisy ,sofa bed was not comfortable,the host is cheater and liar ,we didn't had light one night and he promised to compensate for one night and then he never replied back and responded and when I contacted with booking.com he told them that he will not compensate.i suffered a lot with family and 2 kids couldn't sleep one night so nigh and day gone out of our 5 days holidays. he never helped or responded in booking.com message , and he messaged only in whats app number and booking.com don't want whats app prove where he agreed on 1 day refund. so been cheated by the host. please don't book ....i paid £595 euros for 5 nights ....to get poor response from host

• Colin (9/5): Good, well located apartment let down by poor owner communication (part deux). - Very comfortable, basic and quiet apartment in excellent location. See my extended review in December 2023. See my review in December 2023! Failure to respond to communications after booking. Had to get Booking com to make them respond before we travelled to Spain. Only had half a response - nothing about room cleaning. Agreed to meet us at the outside of the building but, without letting us know in advance, they changed this to having to find another location to collect the keys (with all our luggage) and then, at the other location, shown the key box next door, by a kind resident! As last time, the change of mind email was delayed on our phone having spent 3+hrs flying from UK. So, when we arrived at the apartment block with no one there we had no idea why. Tried ringing the supplied mobile number (waste of time - they never reply) and we were all set to ring Booking.com when the change of plans email arrived half an hour after arriving at the apartment block. All contrary to what we had asked them to do - i.e. let us know before flying! Finally got into the apartment one hour after arriving. All this is totally unnecessary as the apartment, though basic, is in one of the best central locations in Malaga. Would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment if they would just reply to questions and keep to agreements. Would also recommend that at sometime they get the main bedroom window sorted/replaced as the street can be very noisy in the early hours, particularly during the week.
• Barbara (9/5): Cozy flat in the pedestrian zone - The location is perfect. Just on the edge of the pedestrian area, metro and bus stops (including for the airport bus) are around the corner. Plenty of bars and restaurants in the area. The living room is actually bigger than it looks on the photos. Next to a busy street, yet it is rather quiet. Comfortable bedroom, decent size bathroom. You need to pick up the keys at a different location. It is not far, around 5 min walking, but with a heavy luggage I recommend that one person waits at the building with the luggage and the other person(s) get(s) the key. Instruction on how to get the key were good and easy to follow. The kitchen is small, yet it has most of the equipment you need to prepare breakfast or small meal however, it is not very practical. There were no cups.

• Colin (8/5): Good, well located apartment let down by poor owner communication - The apartment (406) appeared to be newly decorated/furnished and situated in a very central location. It is basic, well-equipped with a window view overlooking a main road to the market and municipal offices across the road. It has the increasing rarity of a bath, although a bit short for me, it was a definite plus. The rest of the floor (fourth) appeared to be occupied by businesses and we weren't bothered by noise, nor did we encounter anyone else in the lift or corridors over 4 days. The living room had a top end TV package but unfortunately we couldn't find any live Spanish TV channels, just endless films, games, youtube, etc, so we hardly used it. We would have preferred the owner to have communicated with us at the booking stage to let us know how keys would be handed over, etc and reply more quickly to some simple enquiries. When we turned up on the day my mobile had not received a very last minute email from the owner (my phone had not adjusted to Spain from the flight), so it was shear luck that the front lobby door was open or else we would not have been able to get to the apartment to collect the keys. When I spoke to the owner by phone he appeared exasperated that I didn't know all this is advance. Every owner has different rules but it helps to know, from day one, what they are. The apartment has a lot going for it but it would benefit from a 'Welcome Pack' just to give basic information such as wi-fi code (fortunately I found it on the back of the router - would everybody know to look there?), where to leave the keys on leaving, nearby supermercados for those new to Malaga (we have been many times but remember what it was like first time), etc and how, for instance, often the apartment would be cleaned/towels changed, etc. In practice, in the whole of the 4 days/3 nights that we were there, no one turned up other than to remove the key box? We actually preferred this, for security and privacy, but would have preferred to know in advance that it wouldn't be cleaned. Despite all this we would recommend the apartment despite the lack of communication. I would readily supply the owner with a sample English language welcome pack format?
