• Michael (10/5): Great value for money. - Clean. Lovely balcony. Perfect place to stay. Pool bar and pool were very good. George who runs the bar was extremely friendly and well priced. Would stay again. A bit far from the parking to drag your luggage to the apartment.
• Caroline (8/5): Enjoyable stay in beautiful location. - Location is lovely and balcony have glimpses of the sea and lake. Lovely pool area with a bar and area to eat. (Cash only so not always easy). You can easily access lake, board walk, local restaurants and beach. Great for fitness and bike riding. You need to hire car as rural location. The apartment is a basic studio apartment. Therefore, one room. Kitchen area is very small with no dishwasher and/or washing machine. Fridge has small freezer compartment. Door didn’t close well so frozen back of fridge which caused food to get wet and have to be thrown away. Eating area on patio basic and uncomfortable chairs. Table was a bistro table. No loungers. Overall disappointing and dated. Things like no matching glassed, etc. Good quality pillows. Had to ask for kettle and clean towels and advised no cleaner to freshen room/bedding for 9 night stay. Owner advised 14 nights plus only. Reception often closed and reception staff unhelpful. We worked out how to download uber app and hire local bikes to get around and essential for shops, pharmacy etc. No welcome pack with any instructions or recommendations. Owner is responsive but not thete so relying on cleaners etc to pop in and just feel one rubbish bag for 9 night stsy, etc made life bit harder.
• Louise (9/5): Super apartment in a lovely setting right by the beach and boardwalks. - The location was superb. Fantastic view from lovely balcony. The design and fit out made effective, stylish and functional use of space. Everything you could need in the kitchen, great hairdryer and selection of books too. Pool area and cafe were excellent too and the host Sara was super helpful. Nothing.

• Margaret (4/5): Disappointing. What should have been a lovely break, spoilt by lack of information and amenities - Not applicable. No breakfast facilities Reception on arrival was not open. We could only find one restaurant, which was closed. On the Monday, we went to Reception. There was no information about Victory Village, nor a plan of layout and facilities, eg. Swimming pool. The Victory Village Clubhouse? Was closed. There were no facilities to eat, nor anywhere to buy basic food for breakfast. Reception did not have any details of nearby restaurants. There were 3 by the Lake which we did not find until the Wednesday. There was no public transport, even though there was a bus stop. We had to hire a car. The apartment was lovely. Only concern was Travel kettle in kitchen which could only switch off by pulling plug out of socket. And as with Reception, no plan of Victory Village or information on the beach/nearbyrestaurants, nature trails, etc. I had a villa at Four Seasons, Quinta do Lago for 20 years, and I know this area. It is fourteen years since I last visited, so much had changed but still lovely. Victory Village was a disappointment.
• Anita (7/5): We enjoyed the location which was a complete contrast to our usual choices but were sorry some facilities were closed. - Good facilities, loved the views and distance to the beach and walks Unfortunately I like to swim every day and as the sea was too rough was extremely disappointed that the pool area and bar were closed. Did not see this was stated when booking.

• Debbie (9/5): Nice stay in Victory village - Our plane was severely delayed so we arrived at the property at nearly midnight. The owner kept in contact with us and did their best to help us to locate the keys. Excellent. It’s a great location in Quinta do Lago to access the beach and the miles of walking in the Rua Formosa. Walking distance to great restaurants and a short taxi ride to Quinta shops.
• Ganly (8/5): Very good - Stayed for a wedding nearby, great location - even without a car beach, supermarket and restaurants within walking distance
• Bent (9/5): Great stay, we will probably come back. - Nice bathroom, good space and great view from the balcony! Maintenance of the garden area could be better and is not up to Quinta do Lago standard.

• Pavneet (10/5): Exceptional - Apartment was clean, well furnished and modern. Amazing view of the sea from our balcony. Air conditioning was a welcome plus. Would definitely stay there again. Only an outdoor pool. No shop. Lunch menu wasn't extensive enough.
