Kirk (8/5): Great location, comfortable, no-host iffy check-in - Generally a comfy apartment with a great location. Very handy small supermarket one block away. Shower, washing machine, WiFi and Air-con good. Host helped arrange a taxi for our departure. Host does not attend check-in at Vicolo Sillio, and codes are required for two doors. The codes are held back until 16.00 of arrival day, so if you are in transit by air or train, you may not receive the codes in time, particularly if you are dependent on WiFi. It makes for a stressful few hours.
Hae (9/5): Amazingly new and clean apartment in the heart of Udine - Very new and clean apartment in the heart of Udine. I was there for a film festival and it was easy to locate via taxi from Udine Station. Communication with the host was fast and a breeze, and Silvia was very friendly! Close to supermarkets, bars, and restaurants. Highly recommended. The only thing I didn't like was how you could hear every little noise coming from the street below (cars, people, bar crowd downstairs), but it seems to be the norm in Italy in general.
