• Nour (1/5): AVOID, ESPECIALLY AS A WOMAN. - I will narrate the whole story of what happened with me in this place, both the good and the bad. I booked a non-refundable night here a few weeks ago, but my flight got cancelled and I had to change my plans in the last minute. I contacted the property and Ahmad kindly offered to give me a room for free for another night when I arrived, which I appreciated a lot. I immediately saw there are dogs being taken care of by Ahmad which was also very kind. However, unfortunately, when I saw the state of the place I didn't even want the room, but I had already checked in, it was late, and I needed a place to sleep after a long travel, so I just took it. I also had a diving course over 3 days that started very early in the morning and ended in the evening, which meant I couldn't move anywhere else if I wanted, so I extended for 2 more nights, and then I left, as soon as I can. The first night was in the single room, where rats would even feel uncomfortable living! It was so dirty, the floor, the sheets, the walls, everything, that I slept so poorly every night just because I was paranoid of where I was. Then, I moved to the bungalow which was even worse! I sincerely can't describe how dirty this place was, even for a traveller which I am, used to hostels, this was merely too much! The bathrooms are just not prepared for human use, that is all I can say! A dog entered the bungalow on my last day and peed under my bed, and they simply sprayed something in the air to remove the smell! Yet, I was not planning to write this at all since Ahmad did give me a free accomodation practically on the first night. However, I always had a weird feeling being around him. He was being too clingy and too close for a stranger, and I kept justifying it with the different cultures, until a girl I met and became friends with in Dahab told me afterwards that Ahmad started asking that she sleeps in his room for the last night because he gave her a discount, and he kept insisting on it that she had to change accomodation on her last night because she felt unsafe! He also took my number from booking and messaged me privately, and he made me give him 10/10 rating through the original booking because of the free first night he offered me, which I realised changed the whole power dynamic! I don't know what else to say.

Comfortable bed in private room with shared bathroom. Quiet area only a few minutes walk from the boardwalk. Access to camp refrigerator. Short walking distance to boardwalk were many cafes restaurants, dive centers and shops are located. Low price. Good tailor located across the road. Bathrooms were not very clean. One of the two men's toilets was broken and did not flush. Room was prepared with only a bottom sheet on the bed and no blanket (nights were cool are required a blanket in March) or towel - however the manager was able to provide clean blanket, additional sheet and towel upon request the following day - after my late night arrival.

Rapport qualité-prix franchement imbattable Clairement destiné aux backpackers, loin du luxe superficiel de certains hôtels du coin, un poil déglingué mais tout fonctionne et est largement au top pour tout aventurier.e qui cherche un coin chouette et dans son jus!

• Nadine (10/5): It was amazing stay and Ahmed so helpful and frindly he made everything easier on us and was flexible - The location in the middle of Dahab, very near to everything including the transportation, Ahmed was extremely helpful and friendly he even helped us through a lot of stuff and gave us recommendations he made complementary breakfast for us the day we reached. He made the stay si cozy and homie definitely will come again. Nothing so far it was amazing

Les backpackers habitués à quelque chose de rustique aimeront pour le prix et l'ambiance. Cela dit, si vous recherchez un milieu asceptisé et contrôlé, passez votre chemin. Peut être le wifi n'était pas très bon. Mais ça doit dépendre où vous dormez.

• Luci (7/5): - I like staying here because it is like a community . Staff nice and had alot of laughs. I was in a wooden room , I like it alot . The bed was very comfortable. Only stay here if you like simple rooms and are not a fussy person . What do you expect for the cheap price ? The Ritz? No you won't get luxury, but you will get kind people and a welcome. The WiFi is vey good strength reaches even to my room. So I was in a wooden shead with snad and mats on the floor like a Bedouine tent but with very good WiFi. A fun experience. Of your not open minded again don't come then moan. Yes there may be mosquitos ...they exist even in 4* places. It's called nature. Deal with it . May also be a roach I've seen the. Again in good hotels I stayed in Laguna. It's a simple place with a nice friendly atmosphere. Toilet blocked and no hot water. Shower no pressure The bathroom needs updating but it serves it purpose. You can wash. But not in luxury haha The pool in the center is dirty and not used. Would be better to fill it in And make a space for guests to sit and chill.As the pool is aft too small to be any good anyway ....plus it isn't maintained so a whole waste of space. This is up to the owner. I guess. ....

Also, the room smells bad, and the toilet is like a street toilet, so basically it's not comfortable! الغرف زيرو نضافه والحمام مقرف يمكن الشارع انضف. الغطا يسبب هرش للجلد لعدم النضافه تخرج من الغرفه بنرض جلدي وعلشان كدا المكان رخيص غير ضوضاء من شباب ساكنين

The mattresses are dead, the one blanket is in bad shape, has no cover, the bedsheet is also old and ratty, the pillowcase didn't cover the pillow, the room smells like smoke, needs fresh paint.

Ahmed, the manager of the camp, is so helpfull and will give you the best tips and advice the best tours! I really enjoyed my stay and can't wait to go back soon. Perfect for a basic stay in Dahab The camp needs some upgrading but for the price it was ok. I would have preferred some more light in the room.

There was a strong cigarette smell in the room, which didn’t go away even after 4 days I’ve stayed there and kept the door open all the time, although there was an option “non smoking room”, when I booked, because I was with my daughter 5 y.o. The room was totally different from the presented photos. The bed is very uncomfortable. There is only 2 beds and a tiny table in the room so no space to put your stuff. Very disappointing, even for the price it’s too bad. Would never stay here again

• Mengyao (10/5): - 首先，地理位置很好，学潜水的话住这里特别方便，逛街啥的都方便，其次，这家主人booking回消息巨快，问他要什么东西，五分钟就给你送到了，很热情，态度很好，院子也是干干净净的，太阳底下支了个架子可以晒衣服。这个带卫生间的房间不是很大，不是非常注重空间的，定这个还是可以的。总体住下来还是舒服的。 建议卫生间门口放个小地毯，洗完澡出来地板不会到处是水渍，问题不大，可以接受

• Marie (10/5): Pet friendly, idéal voyageuse solo - Ce camp est idéal pour un séjour court ou long. Il est situé à 2min à pied de la rue principale. Je salue le dévouement d'Ahmed qui fait son maximum pour satisfaire les clients. Le Wifi est très bon, j'ai pu faire mes journées de travail sur place. Mon chat s'est fait des nouveaux copains. /

• JIANFANF (7/5): - 离潜水店很近，gobus也很近，步行可以到达，老板也很热情，有院子，公共沐浴洗漱，有厨房可以简单煮点东西，价格也算合理，附近的住宿都不贵。一个人并且经常要外出潜水，所以感觉还是单人间比较方便和安全。 达哈卜的灰尘、苍蝇比较多，要注意关好门窗，我住的房间床不是太舒服，每天都睡到腰痛。墙壁和设备比较陈旧，住宿要求不高的可以选择。

• LudivineJeanne (7/5): Modeste camp pour routard - Petit camp pas cher sans prétention à Dahab. Le propriétaire est très accueillant. Le petit jardin est agréable et bien entretenu. Malgré l'excellent accueil du propriétaire, il faut néanmoins dire que les locaux sont particulièrement vétustes (murs décrépis, très peu d'équipements, sanitaires rouillés...). Le logement convient à des voyageurs ayant vraiment un esprit "routard" et qui ne sont pas à cheval sur le confort.

The atmosphere is peaceful, and the location is perfect for exploring Dahab. Ahmed, who works there, was incredibly helpful and friendly — he made the stay even better with his kindness and support. Honestly, everything was good. Nothing major to complain about — the only thing is that the mattresses weren’t the most comfortable, but it didn’t really affect my stay overall.

Il est au top. La chambre ne correspond pas du tout aux photos que nous avions vus. Pas de draps, le lit etait délabré. Les murs s’effritent, une seule prise électrique où on ne peut pas poser d’objet à côté. Une petite ampoule pour toute la piece, même pas accessible du lit. La porte à un enorme jour en bas donc tous les moustiques rentrent. Peu confortable.

• Al-Nahar (2/5): Chose this accommodation as we had to book last minute like on the day of arrival and it was the only place that had a r - The location. That’s literally it. It was dirty. Roaches everywhere. The bedsheets were dirty too. The beds were breaking and literally falling apart as we sat/slept on them - the mattress was atop of some kind of rocks that weren’t sturdy and fell apart as we slept. The lighting in the room was awful. The bathroom was dirty and there was no hot water.
