• Mika (10/5): 素晴らしい環境で、NZならではの貴重な経験ができる！ - オーナーのDionとLouが親切で素敵な人達だった。そして、場所はテカポから近くて行きやすかったし、夜に宿の周りが暗いので南十字星など星空が綺麗に見られてとても感動した。 また、コテージが広くて清潔感もあり、洗濯機や必要な調理器具も揃っていて快適に過ごせるし、コテージのすぐ目の前で羊やヤギ、アルパカがいて餌やりができたり、広大な敷地にたくさん放牧されている羊や牛の様子や朝には牛が出荷される様子の見学などができた。 何よりもおすすめは別料金のFarm tourで、羊の毛刈り、牧羊犬の仕事を見学できたほか、Farm運営のことなども聞けたのは大変興味深く、NZならではのFarm Stayは貴重な体験ができた！ 特になし。

• Emiro (10/5): Beautiful and comfortable farm house - The farm house is divine and very comfortable. We stayed there for one night only and had a lovely time there. It’s in the middle of nowhere, therefore it’s very quiet. They also have animals in the farm and they are all super cute and friendly. All the cows and the goat came to say hello when we arrived.

• Chor Wing (10/5): Great Host & Lovely Farm - Lovely farm view surrounded the house, found sheeps & alpacas. Host are very nice to welcome us. Kitchen's stuffs are well prepared. Laundry and dryer machines are good and efficient. Excellent stargazing location. No mobile signal and no internet. Need to download the map before driving to the farm. But host provided strong WiFi which supported my stay.

• Kennedy (10/5): - Beautiful farm stay, the hosts Lou and Dion were very friendly and welcoming. Big farm and we got to see some farm animals and equipment. Fireplace and AC available in house, fully stocked kitchen and a quiet private setting. Farm tours available at a fee. Location is halfway between Fairlie and Lake Tekapo, we were able to do a trip to Pukaki and Aoraki in one day.

• AnilFuria (10/5): Best Nature stay ever - Nice quiet place away from noises of roads, among mountains,trees, sheep,cows,& specially fully detox as no mobile network. We great time with nature. Not to forget the night sky,we specially got up at 1.00 a.m. just to witness amazing display of stars , we saw shooting stars as well. This property is highly recommended for a family stay for atleast 2 nights Dusty drive of 8 km from Burkesh pass

• Meral (10/5): Great place to getaway! - We were having issues with another reservation and everything was booked. Bauchops Hill helped us find space and it was perfect! Very peaceful and charming!
• MING WEI (10/5): - This stay was truly memorable. The host was incredibly kind, and the farm tour was full of rich and fascinating details. The property is quiet, warm, and comfortable, with excellent bathroom, laundry, and fully equipped kitchen facilities — everything I needed was right there. It’s also very convenient for visiting the Tekapo area. Earlier that evening, the farm was covered in soft, lingering clouds — beautiful in its own way — so I considered skipping my night photography plan. But the host shared very helpful local insight: the Tekapo region often enjoys much clearer skies than this area. I decided to go anyway, and ended up capturing what might be my best photos from the entire trip. I’m truly grateful for that advice. I would gladly stay here again!

Beautiful area, the hosts Lou and Dion are VERY welcoming and friendly and had great insights into the farm, the area and anything we wanted to know. The stars at night, the sheep and other farm animals, the area, the cottage, the farmstay, it was all excellent! Can highly recommend. To be honoust, nothing I did not like, it was perfect for us

• Sulite (3/5): Poor - There is no signal on the entire farm, so I tried to contact the landlord using booking and WhatsApp. The landlord did not respond to the message.The landlord is not on the farm, and there is no sign indicating where the rooms are. asked from neighbors which one is the house.The place is remote, the house is old, and there is no socket in the Double bed bedroom, but they actually brought a desk lamp and pretended to have a socket. The most important thing is that on the booking, he promised to take me to visit the farm, but no one replied to my message at all. No one comes to such a remote and desolate place just to stay for one night without visiting the farm, spending nearly 400 NZD. What if they don't want to take me to visit the farm and at least reply with a message saying they're busy? They don't even care about you, it's a very bad experience. Don't come.

It was lovely and warm with the log burner going. The beds were lovely and comfortable. The cleanliness was outstanding. Our hosts were fantastic- very responsive and happy to chat about the farm. The farm tour was excellent too. Happy our little dogs were welcome. Nothing- it was all awesome! Even the weather cleared up :)

The cabin was clean, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed for cooking simple dinner. It was really charming and quiet. We booked the farm tour! Dion’s shared his knowledge of running his farm with us whilst driving us across the fast farmland. It was a really cool ride up and down the hills, meeting with the farm’s cattle along the way ! We should have booked 2 nights !!

• Paul (10/5): Exceptional - On our first trip to New Zealand and as we live on a small farmstead in the UK, we were very keen to sample a taste of life on a Hill Station. The cottage at Bauchops Hill Station really gave us a feel for life in the spectacular scenery which surrounds it. The landscape is awe inspiring and puts a different perspective on life. Once the log burner in the living area of the cottage was lit, it heated up the whole place. Make sure to take a look at the wonderful night sky during your stay-stars and moon are so bright out there! We had the most memorable Farm Tour with Dion, whose extensive knowledge of the area and farming expertise was shared freely. We will always remember those few hours with him, with gratitude.
• Anthony (10/5): Super Bauchops Hill Station - We wanted a farm stay and we got that and more. The Cottage is really big and the owners live just further along the track. They're so very friendly and our tour of the farm was simply brilliant. Nothing to dislike. Remember, you're staying on a working farm. If you're unhappy, you're the sort of person who looks to complain.

A really friendly and accommodating host, and fresh eggs available from the resident hens. We really appreciated the high quality bed linen and towels! It was a shame that we weren’t able to spend an additional day and experience the farm tour, but it was a good location for star gazing at Mount John.

• Ryanne (9/5): Awesome farm getaway with my friends, we cooked a mean feed and enjoyed a relaxing night by the fire playing card games - Location. Value for money, the fire, the natural farm setting. And the large kitchen. Shower room could use a bit of a update with a bathroom heater and exhaust fan. But for the price perfectly reasonable and good amenities if it’s not too cold.
