The location is perfect – right in the city center. The only small downside is that you can hear some street noise, especially on weekends, so it might not be ideal for light sleepers. • M Carmen (7/5): - La ubicación es excelente, está en pleno centro histórico a 3 minutos del la plaza del duomo. El apartamento es muy amplio con habitaciones grandes y camas cómodas. No hay ruidos y se descansa bien. El edificio es super antiguo y tiene una entrada muy oscura y sucia con un portalón grande que da acceso a un patio. El apartamento está en el primer piso pero el ascensor no funciona y hay que subir a pie con las maletas por unas escaleras incómodas. Esto es lo peor del apartamento.

• Helene (8/5): Well-situated clean flat in town centre - The appartment is ideally situated, near the town centre. It is very spacious and clean. Nice to be able to have coffee. Shampoo, shower gel and toothbrushes provided. Parking was a bit tricky. The air con in one of the rooms was quite noisy. The mattress in the biggest room was a bit hard.

• Aleš (10/5): Exceptional stay in the heart of Catania – 10/10 - The apartment is located right in the center of Catania, with most of the main attractions just a short walk away. For our family, the proximity to Piazza Duomo — less than 5 minutes away — was especially important and convenient. The apartment itself is spacious, with high ceilings and two bathrooms, which made our stay very comfortable. It also has a washing machine and everything else you might need. The place was very clean, well-maintained, and equipped with several air conditioning units. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly. Access was easy thanks to the code-based entry system. In short, this apartment has everything you need, and it’s definitely worth the money. We would highly recommend it and would stay here again without hesitation. -

• Josse (8/5): great place to stay! - Valeria texted in time how to enter the apartment, with a very helpful video that tells how to find your way. access is via a code which is super convenient. Also Valeria was very responsive to the single question I had during our stay. the apartment is in a great location with many restaurants around. parking in Borsellino is easy and safe (around 12 euro per day). The apartment is as nice as on the pictures. Do take note that this apartment is really in the old center. this means that on saturday night until 1.00 cars will be around and make some noises (yes - sicilians know to find their horn). it is a very busy area, which has a lot of advantages and some disadvanteges sometimes :) some refreshing can be done on the apartment: the sofa in the living room is not comfortable to sit on and has stains. maybe it was OK in the early days - but now it is a bit worn. also kitchen equipment needs an update (maybe replace some worn or missing items (bowls, blender, pizza cutter, extra pans). especially if you stay with 6 persons, more items would be needed (at least 6 big/small plates, bowls, etc).

• Danae (9/5): Excellent property, good for families and small groups would definitely stay here again. - Amazing location, beautiful property, lots of room, super clean, charming old building. The hosts were very attentive to fixing issues that arose during our stay, even on Sundays. The bed frame made a lot of noise so getting up and down during the night with the baby disturbed others. The living room couch was not comfortable to sit on, it is a really odd shape and you kind of slide off it 😂 A microwave would have been helpful for heating baby bottles during the night.

• Marsha (10/5): Exceptional - The flat was in an excellent location in the old town and was in a safe and secure building with a very pleasant doorman. The hosts answered very quickly via WhatsApp. Stairs and entry were well lit as was the entire flat. Very tasteful modern restoration with very high ceilings that retained the character of the original building and showed a good eye for decor. 2 bedrooms with two equally good bathrooms and a spacious communal area. Perfect for two couples traveling together as we were and staying multiple nights. This flat was perfectly set up for a very long-term stay as well. Maybe some kitchen additions and dimmers on lights which we recommended to the hosts. American travelers have different expectations that don't really interfere with the enjoyment of the accommodations...but I always pass along

Spacious apartment, designed in modern style. We didn’t get the same experience as other guests, who said they had great, personal service here. We never met the host or got the personal touch. We had to ask about stuff in the shop downstairs, because the host didn’t even pick up the phone. Not the best customer service experience.

Very good location for sightseeing and shopping in Catania. A few minutes walk from the main bus station. Valeria was very helpful and efficient sending even the instruction movie how to enter the apartment. If you expect a lot of daylight the historic building the apartment was situated may not be the best choice.
