Guest Reviews
- Sophie (5/5): - We had great chat over WhatsApp and the people seemed nice. Unfortunately the guesthouse is not in Ismaiylli, it’s 20 minutes drive from there. People picked us up in Ismayilli and didn’t speak english which was a bit confusing and uncomfortable. They tried to make us pay for the pick up and drop off to the village while it’s them who did not mention they were so far from the center.
- Guy (10/5): -
- Elisabeth (9/5): - The people living in this house, the delicious breakfast and dinner. They were very friendly. It was far from the city but they picked up us from Ismaliyyi and drove us back to Ismaliyyi
- Karim (8/5): Very good -
- Marybee_dd (8/5): Homey atmosphere - Very relaxed placed in a tiny village close to Ismayilli. I felt like home there.
- Tahira (1/5): Worst experience of my travel life. I’ve never given any negative reviews but this one just earned it. - I hardly have any good things to say . It’s beautiful city but disgusting place to stay. My room was almost public, anybody n everybody would barge in. There’s nothing that i liked about that property . I liked the simplicity but then they never cleaned the washroom n i got an instant itch after using dirty washroom. I had informed them before hand i was coming n baku to Ismili is 4 hours by bus, they had enough time for prep but invain. Bed didn’t have sheets n what i hated the most about it was there were see through or nearly no curtains in the room. I could not even change my clothes n the dirty bathroom was outside the house.
In minus degree they expect you to go to bathroom only to change clothes because the hosts would never leave you alone. Can you imagine there were 6 people in my room from elders to kids whilst they adjusted the beddings n curtains upon my request. They expect you to obey their orders.
Worst thing that upset me the most was grandpa would make video calls to strangers n would insist you to talk to their so called cousins, mommy, etc . I don’t understand in what era these people are living.
I find the hosts disrespectful too. If you are not wearing hijab they expect you can change clothes in open room with no curtains.
This is by far my worst experience of travel life.
I do not record this property for any solo traveller esp not for females.
It’s more of a scam, ruined my azerbaijan experience :(
