Elstenwick park close by-good for exercise potentially dangerous entrance step--needs a safety color. Windows a little difficult to open could open more or airconditioning in bedrooms.

• Carol (9/5): Quiet and peaceful cosy apartment - Lovely little apartment just out of Elwood town, within walking distance of the beach and close to transport links bus/tram/train. Elwood itself is small but has a little bit of everything and is ideal if you prefer a calmer peaceful environment within easy striking distance of Melbourne itself by public transport or Uber. The beach front is stunning. Recommend a coffee and toastie at the beach shack. The apt was clean and cosy with a well equipped kitchen and handily a washer dryer within the bathroom. Beds were comfortable. There's nothing that can be done about this but the apartment by nature of being ground floor was overlooked at each window by residents walking round to their car. We ended up having the blinds down a lot and this mean't the flat felt dark at times.

Went to use the oven, but the tray was dirty from previous use, so used frypan instead ..That is only thing I could fault...Maybe it was missed when it was cleaned....But the rest of the apartment was spotless..👍💯

Wouldn't book for a longer stay, no privacy. - clean and tidy, fresh looking decor ground floor location right next to resident car park meant no privacy when blinds open. WAY too many dried flower arrangements - not enough horizontal spaces to take up space with those things!
