Guest Reviews
- Evgeniy (9/5): Great place, Value for money too! - I didn't have any breakfast as a package however the area was nice. I was there for a uni trip & it was located right at the heart of where the uni is :) The one thing i'd say is that at one point, the paper towels in the men's toilet ran out. That's about it honestly. Everything else was great, the bed's were super comfy too.

- Dan (10/5): Home from Home - As always everything was perfect for both of us Cherry is a lovely host and made us feel welcome and sent us instructions to follow so we could check in easily enough
- Mark (9/5): Good option for value, location and comfort. - Central location, good sized and comfortable room, good communication from host, good value, within easy walking distance of city centre and near to many eating and drinking options. Window in bedroom not properly sealed.
Notwithstanding the name, it’s definitely a guest house rather than a hotel.
- Faisal (3/5): -
- Kelly (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maryann (2/5): No value for money - I do not like anything about the hotel. Black painting and scary stickers on the wall.
Group of people, who appeared to be drunks, making loud noise at mid night inside the hotel.
I do not feel safe there with my family.
Everything is wrong with the hotel.
- George (10/5): Was perfect for what we needed for the weekend! Would highly recommend Digz as was perfect - Was comfortable and a good location N/A
- Kelly (10/5): Amazing place to stay with a wonderful host and staff - Lovely properly, clean and well presented. The bed is so comfy. Host is lovely and is very accommodating. As are the staff. They went out of their way at a difficult time. Can’t thank them enough . We will definitely be returning Nothing

- Chizoba (1/5): Uncomfortable experience - Nothing Property looked okay at the website since its just for a night but getting there it was just so bad the heating in the room was circulating around, the female toilet is all the way downstairs and my room was upstairs which made my stay much more uncomfortable the tables were a big dusty and the room just wasnt the place to get a good night rest, the light wasnt even bright enough and room colour which was black just made it all worse had to go to another hotel after wasting money there and it was much better and cheaper

- Ariel (10/5): Wonderful Stay with a Personal Touch! - We had a fantastic stay at Cherry’s place! She was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The hotel was very affordable and in a great location compared to other places in the same price range. The highlight of our stay was the special treat of a private concert—Cherry performed her original songs, which made the experience truly unique and memorable! Would definitely recommend staying here and hope to visit again in the future. 😊🎶

- Nagy (4/5): Disappointing - My booking was including breakfast and when arrived i found there is no breakfast available.
I called the resposible person and he promised to provide breakfast starting from next morning but he didnt fulfil his promise
- Gingergirl (10/5): Exceptional - Great design really nice room, clean and comfortable x highly recommend
- Bill (8/5): Extraordinary value for money stay in the heart of Middlesbrough - The value for money was exceptional for this stay, hotel is well located not too far from the station. Access was easy, perhaps a little too easy. Room was a good size with basic but comfortable beds. Tea and coffee in the room is a nice touch. Shared bathroom and toilet spotlessly clean. Breakfast was an unexpected bonus and very welcome. Though its location is central Middlesbrough on a Tuesday night is loud and partying. That will suit some but if its an early night you’re after ask for a room at the back of the building
- Mark (7/5): Good - Great location and great value for money!
- Jerome (8/5): Very good -
- Ste (10/5): Excellent - Stayed here on many occasions host is brilliant very welcoming would recommend this place to anyone one best hotels I have ever stayed in great prices and breakfast also included always my first option when considering a hotel very very good Everything was perfect
- George (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent stay would highly recommend looking forward to staying again in January Nothing
- Nabina (10/5): A wonderfully quirky, unique hotel experience. Would highly recommend. 😊 - The wonderful host and owner Alfie, was friendly, very accommodating, and has created an amazing space for an unbelievable low price. The place is efficiently organised, and appears to be an expression of love and creativity from the owner. I hear it will soon be passing into new hands. I hope they treat it with as much love and care that Alfie has obviously put in. Alfie, you will be missed. ❤️ The mens' toilets and shower room are on the first floor, and the womens' on the ground floor, so as a woman on the first floor, I needed to go down steps to use my allocated toilet and shower, but actually, if you're desperate for the loo, I think there wouldn't an issue using the other one. Also, Alfie told me that normally single women are given in the ground floor room, but it wasn't free when I booked. Not a big issue.
- James (9/5): Superb -
- Ella (7/5): Good - Fantastic value.
For the price it was great Not the comfiest bed
- Deborah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Tom (10/5): Exceptional - Well presented room everything brand new

- Gibson_elyonedupreparation (10/5): Digz hotel is an exceptional place I must say, am definitely staying here my next time in Middlesbro - the level of cleanness, the excellence in service and the location. Digz hotel is just wow.
- Lee (10/5): Quality accommodation - Everything, from the location, to how clean it was, and more then reasonably priced, the owner was warm welcoming and sincere, That I didn't have my stay booked for longer,
- Seery (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ying (8/5): Very good -
- Dragos (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sienna (9/5): Superb - The staff and people staying at the hotel were very nice. Clean facilities and comfy bed. Tv had all streaming services on it. Very impressive with his hotel Nothing
- Izabela (10/5): Exceptional -
- Victor (9/5): Superb - The compound and the whole building is neat, and also I met no staff during my stay there and it's still well organized and maintained neatness Nothing much
- Deborah (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bernard (9/5): Superb - Great kitchen with breakfast provided. Room was good for what we paid. Parking out front but pay during the day. There's also parking at the back. Old building so boards and stairs creak. We left early and we were concerned we would wake people.
- Alan (9/5): Excellent standard of hospitality at a very competitive and affordable price. - The location was perfect for access to public transport, and the hotel was also situated next door to a Wetherspoons pub, which serves food all day, until 11pm.
The owner was very welcoming and allowed us to store our luggage for the day after we had checked out. The accommodation was very clean throughout, and the whole experience proved to be a quiet and comfortable stay. Would definitely book again! Nothing not to like.
- Spencer (9/5): Superb -
- Nurun (9/5): Very cosy in middle of Middlesbrough very near by and main importantly the owner was so friendly very welcoming, i would - Cleanness very friendly The main owner plus the price is perfect
- Robert (8/5): Good 👍 - Welcome Everyone
- Sandis (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent host and facilities
Good value for money
Comfortable bed and cozy atmosphere
Will recommend to others
- Russell (10/5): Absolutely Fabulous - Absolutely fabulous central location, amazing host, really clean and comfortable property. Couldn't fault it in any way, highly recommended
- Emil (7/5): Kick ass space with room to be yourself. Would recommend. - The vibes are imaculate. The person in charge seems cool and chill. The common area is spacious and inviting, while the counter culture style hits just right - plus coffee/tea station set up in a convenient fashion. Also cool lights in room change color *.*
Also got some cool fast food spots a minute's distance away. The main downsides are the lavartory and shower are outside the room, meaning it's less convenient for a couple out for some intimate time. Although, it is what it says on the tin. If you're looking for a place to crash while you're between here and fro, this'll definately fit the bill.
- Mohammad (7/5): Good -
