• Krysia (9/5): - The accommodation is in a good location in South London - a short, pleasant walk to the local shops, cafes, bars and train station and a 10 minute train ride to London Bridge station. The hosts were friendly and helpful and gave easy instructions on how to access the property. The room (with ensuite) was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. It was lovely to stay there.

Das Zimmer ist wirklich schön und bietet neben Kaffee, einer Stereoanlage mit sehr guter Musikauswahl, einigen interessanten Büchern über London auch ein gut durchdachtes kleines Bad mit bester Warmwasserversorgung. Lara und David sind jederzeit ansprechbar und hilfsbereit.

• Fabio Emilio (10/5): - We've had a very pleasant stay at David and Lara's place. Everything went smoothly, communication was easy and friendly, the room is beautiful and comfortable. The neighbourhood is quiet and well connected with the overground and regional trains. We'll definitely stay here again :)
• Eniko (10/5): Hidden gem - The room was spacious, quirky, and very comfortable. The underfloor heating was a lovely surprise too. The location close to Brockley station was perfect, very convenient for my work trip. The hosts, David and Lara, are wonderfully friendly and approachable.

• Peliti (10/5): Stare da Lara & David è come stare a casa di amici. - Lara & David sono dei deliziosi host che fanno di tutto per farti sentire a tuo agio. La casa è in una posizione comoda a poca distanza dalla fermata di Brockley. Forse il letto un po’ troppo morbido, ma caldo e pulito!
• Tracey (4/5): - Located in nice area. Clean. Spacious. Poorly soundproofed. Dog barking, TV or radio playing and washing machine running until after 11pm. Take earplugs and sleep mask. Room was really hot although a fan was provided.

• Marla (10/5): Can't wait to return! - Perfect stay for me. Lovely host family including Teddy the Black Lab. Very comfortable bed/bedding, nice shower, television with options, teas and coffee in room, and as a single lady traveling, I felt extremely safe in this home away from home. Train station and great coffee/food/drink was a quick walk which was extremely important! I will absolutely return on my next London adventure! I didn't like leaving 10 Garsington Mews! A lump in my throat as I shut gate behind me on my last day. If I had to dig to find a dislike, I'd have to dig deep. I could have bought a body wash once I arrived instead of using the provided hand soap.

• Sasha (9/5): A restful stay - Quiet comfortable modernist accommodation designed by the owners. Only a short walk to Brockley Station. Thoughtful touches and an interesting little collection of books on London. All good

• sonia (5/5): Cheap and cheerful - The property was in a good location for us. The property was difficult to get into. It also didn’t have any carpet on the floor ( it was concrete) which made it feel cold. The bedroom door had a strange locking system which was difficult to work out without the hosts instructions.

• Colin (9/5): It’s only 300 yards from the railway station and buses so we may book again. - It was very quiet. Very roomy and good size bathroom. Extremely helpful host. A little difficult to find. The map on the booking confirmation was small, the illustration of the house obliterated the actual location. There were no chairs in the room. David offered to bring some in but it would have been nice if they were there. For us it wasn’t a big problem, we only showered when we arrived changed clothing and went out, went straight to bed when we returned.
• Daniel (9/5): - The location was perfect, ten minute walk from some excellent local amenities, but tucked away in a secluded mews. The hosts were super friendly and helpful. Warm and super-clean, some interesting books to peruse if you have time! There really isn't anything to mention, that would be nitpicky.
• Monica (5/5): - Vicinanza della stazione, quartiere carino con pub, locali e un supermarket. La camera é stata rimediata al posto di una struttura garage. C'è l'ingresso allo stabile in comune e una porta scorrevole separa la stanza dal resto della casa. Non ho apprezzato molto la poca privacy, una delle due sere abbiamo sentito tutti gli schiamazzi dei ragazzi presenti nella casa di fianco..
• Abbey (7/5): - Host was incredible friendly and let us leave our bags in the room before official check in time. The room was priced at a good price point for London. Parking was easy in the laneway. They really need to install a proper lock on the door. Whilst there is a way to "lock" the door once you are inside, there is no way to do so if you go out and it feels a bit unsecured from the rest of the family living in the house. The lockable door into the house is stiff and hard to operate - could use a service. It also means the people living in the house need to slam it closed so that woke us up in the morning. The mattress/bed is very uncomfy and we rolled into the middle of it all night. The shower could use a shower curtain and the toilet could use a toilet seat. There is a bit of mould in the shower that could use some bleach. All easy fixes to make the place amazing.

• Natascha (10/5): Wonderful stay - we would highly recommend it! - The room is located in a lovely and quiet residential area, that is in walking distance to local shops / restaurants and public transport. Lara and David are wonderful hosts and provided us with great tips for our stay.
• Pesa (9/5): Very good, nice and helpful family - Great location, the family was very nice and and they gave us a lot of info about the restaurant and amenities around the property. Just a tip, we would have preferred if there was a shower curtain and a small bin in the bathroom.

The room was large and had all the necessary amenities. Excellent value for money. For personal peace of mind, we would have preferred a lock on the bedroom door.

The area felt safe and welcoming, with a lovely café strip near Brockley Station just a 10-minute walk away—even manageable with a large suitcase! The room was comfortable—a double with ensuite—and had most of what we needed for a great stay. Lara was a lovely and helpful host, and Teddy the dog was friendly (and only barked to say hello!). Would definitely recommend! NIL

Heard some very loud banging noises in the room above us one morning quite early, not sure if it was renovation or something but was a bit early to be that loud

Mattress was sinking in the middle and was very uncomfortable. The room didn’t have a lock! The location is somewhat remote, so not much choice on restaurants. But there is plenty of parking

The location was super convenient and peaceful, perfect for both relaxing and getting around the city. Communication was smooth and friendly from start to finish. • Jean (9/5): A great alternative to faceless hotels - I received a very warm welcome from David. I found the property to be much nicer in real life than the photos suggested. The interior design of the room is modern and comfortable, with a great shower. I felt safe in the general area and didn't mind walking down the lane to the mews but there are some puddles to watch out for! This is purely personal taste but I would have liked the curtain across the big window to offer a bit more coverage.

The owners were really chatty and welcoming which was great as we aren’t from the area. Nothing. Only thing I can think is a little bin in the bathroom would have been handy :)

• Brewer (10/5): Fab! Great hosts! Great room! - The hosts were super friendly and kind. Breakfast was wonderful setting us up for the days we stayed. Parking was a bonus for us, left the car right out side the window of the accommodation so felt safe leaving it. Room was clean and well looked after, bed was comfortable and slept well. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

We felt secure, welcomed and overall very happy with our stay there. No real downsides. The matress was a bit soft, but we slept like babies anyways.
