- John (9/5): The view from our balcony was spectacular. The food was fantastic. The mattress was comfortable. - The food at breakfast and dinner was the best we had on a three week vacation in Italy and Slovenia. The balcony of our room had comfortable seating and a remarkable view of the Julian Alps. The host Renatta (sp?) was exceptional in helping with questions and suggestions about the surrounding area. She was a remarkably gracious host. The room had a nifty automated metal blind, positioned outside the sliding glass door, that could be lowered and raised by a button on the wall. We could leave the door open with the blind down, but the slats opened to allow cool air to flow into the room at night. Included was an inside sheer for privacy. In the wall was a fan that pumped in outside air though a filter. The king bed was too big for the bedroom. A queen would have made more sense. There was little space for maneuvering around the room. There weren't any instructions on how to operate the power, metal blind or the air filtration unit. The air filtration unit is advertised as air conditioning. That's a deception calling it "air conditioning". Most people would think it was capable of cooling the air. Not that we needed AC in September. The nights were comfortably cool. The bed spread was too thick. A thin sheet should have been provided for a hot-natured person like me. The motion sensor light in the stairwell turned off before you could get up or down the stairs.

- Katia (7/5): Fijn verblijf - Warme ontvangst door een vriendelijke dame. Fijn dat het hotel ook een 4-gangen dinner voorziet voor de hotelgasten. Het dinner was lekker, al werd het wel op een stevig tempo opgediend. We kregen ook hele fijne tips op maat over wat we in de streek konden doen. We hadden de laatste beschikbare kamer geboekt en dat bleek een familiekamer te zijn (we waren met 2). De kamer was heel ongezellig en 'kaal'. Als we spraken, weergalmde het. Je kon ook alles horen wat er in de kamers boven gebeurde of wat er op de gang gezegd werd. Alle kamers zouden een balkon hebben. Voor de kamer die wij hadden was dat het overdekte terras voor het gebouw, niet direct gekoppeld aan onze kamer dus. Er is een mini zwembad en Jacuzzi beschikbaar voor de hotelgasten. Tegen dat we van onze dagtrip terug kwamen waren er altijd kinderen nogal luidruchtig aan het spelen in het zwembad en jacuzzi. Dus de optie 'nog even rustig genieten in de jacuzzi voor het dinner' was er niet. Het ontbijt viel wat tegen voor wie op zoek is naar glutenvrije opties. De eitjes waren steeds verwerkt in een quiche of op een toast. (Belangrijk: Ik had dit niet op voorhand doorgegeven, waardoor ze er ook geen rekening mee konden houden. Meestal is dat niet nodig en kan ik altijd een glutenvrij ontbijt samenstellen uit wat beschikbaar is. Hier lukte dat dus niet.)

- Johan (9/5): A friendly place in a beautiful corner of the World. - It is in a quiet and beautiful location. It’s got all you need. Nice breakfast, a small pool and garden, outdoor seating with shade, tables and chairs. We had a big room and a nice bathroom. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The even got my friend lactose free milk since he is allergic. There are many guests with cars so double parking could be an issue. On the other hand it’s a small place so easy to ask another guest to move their car if you get blocked.

The freshly cooked dinner was tasty. The breakfast is very special, with fresh products, eggs from the hosts family and even our special wishes were fulfilled. - Petr (6/5): Wannabe modern but actually messy room with a lot of faults. - Location. Parking slots. At the first sight, everything looks great. Modern bathroom, new furniture, big space. BUT! When you start to look closely (I mean actually start to use the room), everything is bad. It was dirty, really dirty (there were no signs of mopping the floor, cleaning the mirror or toilet, making the bed). Broken parts of the shower, one toilet paper for three days for two people (!), non-functional TV, holes in the wall. Breakfast without drinks, nutella close to expiration date,… We were disappointed.
