• Sarah (7/5): - The view over the river The bed was so hard and uncomfortable. The hotel was under massive construction and very loud. The communal area was hard to enjoy due to construction. The hot water for tea and coffee was cold. The bathroom had an open drain allowing cockroaches in to the bathroom.
• Sherman (10/5): - We had a fabulous stay at Teak Villa in Thoeng. The place had everything we needed and the room was great. We liked the separate outside area where we could have coffee in the morning with the beautiful view. Nuey picked went above and beyond to ensure our stay was smooth - picking us up from the bus station and taking us to the nearby national park to see the Sunset. There were also bikes and motorbikes which we could use free of charge to go and explore. Would recommend Teak Vila to all travellers or those on holiday in Thoeng!

• Robert (7/5): Good - A boutique hotel but not advertised as such. Simple rooms but very comfortable. Quirky waterworks in bathroom - eg shower flowed from a wide channel. Adjacent to river with nice views over fields to hills. A feeling of being in the real Thailand..A 5 min walk to main road. Power points are not near the bed. You need an extension lead.
• Debbie (9/5): Built with love and artistry, in a beautiful location on river - We loved looking at the well crafted building. Took photos of a couple things to copy in our own house when we get back to Australia. Loved sitting on our beautiful deck looking out to the little river, palm trees and mountains in the distance. The owner was very friendly. We felt almost guilty at what little amount they charged for the accommodation We liked everything
