It’s not true showing there is a beach. t the beaches very dirty and you cannot swim and when I ask, they say no, you cannot swim. The water is so dirty. Room it’s very old furniture is very bad

• Vardanyan (5/5): Mixed Emotions. - The hotel stuff was nice and helpful. The pool was enjoyable and the view of the sea was beautiful especially in the evenings. I really enjoyed the hotel coffee shop where the chef listened to my suggestion and made omelets with cheese specially for me. The hotel also has a spa with good and relaxing massage. I had foot and face massages there. The room was bright but smelly. The furniture was old. I recommend to change the wood furniture and fix the bathroom toilet flash and hairdryer. Even though the house keeping changed the sheets and cleaned the room, I was bitten by unknown bugs every night.

• Kim (8/5): Very good - Rooms and staffs are very friendly. Siti and her colleagues helped us a lot. Swimming pool is one of the best. Propose for improvement: Let customer knows wifi password upon check in. Help customers to bring the luggage if required. It is a good hotel, if manager provide better training to his staffs, I believe this hotel is a really great hotel. Not able to find the Access to the beach.

• Daniel (3/5): Old & rundown hotel that makes zero effort to provide a comfortable hotel experience for its guests - I'm sure that Langkawi Lagoon Resort was a nice hotel 10-20 years ago. The room was ok, the airconditioning worked, and the view from the pool of the beach/sea is nice. The hotel is really run down. It's old, there's damage to the walls and ceiling, stains in the towels, has really outdated amenities, super old and dusty gym facilities, etc. In addition to that, the gym was closed, there was no wifi available, there is no food available whatsoever, and they didn't even provide any drinks. How hard can it be to put a couple of drinks in a fridge somewhere and sell that to your guests. When I expressed to the staff how strange it was that I could not order a simple drink in a hotel, she simply shrugged. She could have offered to order some drinks for me via Grab, she could have instructed the many staff just hanging around the building doing nothing to go grab a drink for me, but no effort was made whatsoever by this hotel nor its staff to provide a comfortable hotel experience. Definitely do not recommend.

• Cathy_cowler (5/5): Passable - Not far from Airport and near ferry port. Was very cheap for quick overnight stay. Buildings and roons were old and fid nit ferl clean. Towels and sheets were stained. There was a large section near the pool with hazard tape on. They did not have a minibar they had an empty fridge and there was no facility to purchase food or drink nearby. We had to pay for a taxi to a local mini mart to get supplies for the evening. The confusion was the word minibar which implied we would be able to get a drink.
• Kenn (8/5): We stayed here for a week and took a Grab (Uber) into town almost every day costing only about £2 per trip. We would def - It is right on the coast in a rural area with beautiful views of the sunset from our sea view room, which was huge. It was very quiet and the staff were lovely. The Ombak Villa hotel is right next door and it has a decent restaurant, but no alcohol there either. We were surprised to find there was no bar or restaurant, other than a simple breakfast bar; there is a bar, but it closed years ago. You can still see bottles of liquor in there, but the room is shut up. So is The Balcony restaurant. In the swimming pool you can see that at one time there was a swim up bar.

Additionally, easy access to food enhances the overall convenience for its guests. Improve the common facilities.

• Amaresan (3/5): It’s not worth staying there. My mood was spoiled during stay at hotel. - I just like the mini bar in the room I don’t like the view at balcony. I was book the hotel just for seaside view from the balcony but unfortunately they scam me by the pictures in bookings. The room smell was so bad and also there is cockroaches inside the room. We also faced issue for bathroom. The is no hot water in the shower. Hot water in the shower was on/off. Not always hot. There is no wifi in the room, only available at the lobby.

Room and toilet have many cockroachs also have 5 and cause me and my wife to get affected by Dengue fever , balcony door can't close fully and have a small gap might be mosquito can pass trough room no.328.
• Frankey (1/5): Not suitable to bring kids - The view is nice 👍 It's kind of creepy. Midnight we heard running footsteps n scratching at the windows. During our 1st night seems only us in that big resort. 2nd n 3rd day then we saw couples of two people. On the 4th we decide an early check out thou we already paid for the 4th night. Will not recommend for family with small kids 🥺

Great value for money , very clean and its a resort environment feeling like which I preferred the most was facilities is very near to the beach and it takes me like 5mins only for the beach walk. I enjoyed to witness the sunset and sunrise right from my balcony also can see the cable car ride on top of the Gunung Raya Machinchang mountains, its so very spectacular . The pool is clear and welcoming. The best ever was its very near to the airport ( 10mins drive) , near to Pantai Cenang area which is everything is there ! ( place like no others which is 24 hours city life ). Last is the very friendly staff and very much helpful. Thumb up for the very polite and friendly staff , love them all and i shall come again. Well , Langkawi island always have an issue with water supply. So don't expect too much and if want to be safe, better stay in well known hotel or resort , they will store the water for the guest ! I m happy that the staff always remind me to store the water after 10pm for precaution matter .

No wifi in rooms & on your floor lobby. Lizards enjoy sea view from balcony more than guests ( thanks for the sign - don't panic to see lizards) Tried calling the number privided to contact staff number of times - never answered & voice message in Malay. Staff on counter desk is not helpful at all Young school girls running the counter who have no knowledge of area. At the lobby entrance there is a desk with 2 chairs that you can call reception. The main hotel reception id on your right that do not entertain Lagoon Sea View guests. Lagoon Sea View looks like a business leased few hotel rooms with a small desk at entrance.
