Du début à la fin de notre séjour dans cet établissement, nous avons passé un agréable moment. La décoration est authentique, on se sent tout de suite chez soi. Les chambres sont grandes, confortables. Le petit déjeuner est très bon et copieux, le personnel est au petit soin. Notre hôte Mohammed est très gentil et il est facile d'avoir une discussion avec lui. Il connait le Maroc sur le bout des doigts. Nous avons passé un vrai moment de partage. Je recommande vivement cet établissement pour visiter Ouarzazate et les alentours ( Oasis de Fint). Rien, tout était bien

If you are wanting the perfect gateway to begin to explore the Dades region and all of southern Morocco, Dar Chams is the place to be.

Maison au décor très personnalisé au style typique. Abdel fait preuve de beaucoup de courtoisie, de professionnalisme, de discrétion et de disponibilité, dès l'accueil et pour le délicieux diner sur la terrasse ou le petit-déjeuner complet (excellents produits locaux). Les chambres sont impeccables, avec propreté et confort. Le jardin et la piscine sont magnifiquement entretenus. Ne changez rien ! Sauf quelques précisions pour vous trouver... l'adresse par Google map nous a mal "promenés" !

• Doris (9/5): We had a nice stay at the riad, would definitely recommend it. - The place was relatively easy to find, communication with the staff via whatsapp was smooth. We were warmly greeted with tea, our bags were brought from the car and up to the rooms which was very appreciated after a long day. This riad is relatively big and colorfuly decorated. The rooms were surprisingly spacious, perhaps the only downside were the beds, the mattresses were a bit hard, but not a major issue at all. We just spent a night here, but the stay here was nice, the breakfast was also very good!

• Dom69 (10/5): Un séjour trop court dans un magnifique Dar marocain traditionnel au coeur même de Ouarzazate. - Nous sommes arrivés à treize personnes dont 5 enfants et nous avons été particulièrement bien accueillis, avec le thé et les petits gâteaux de bienvenue; l'équipe est très serviable et disponible. La maison est grandiose avec ses différents niveaux qui donnent sur le patio, le Maroc typique dans toute sa splendeur. Cerise sur le gâteau, les conseils de nos hôtes qui nous ont permis de découvrir en soirée le centre animé de Ouarzazate qui se trouve à quelques minutes à pied du Dar qui, lui, est très bien situé au calme en retrait du bruit de la ville. Notre seul regret : n'être resté qu'une nuit dans ce petite palais ! Rien !

We loved the place so much that we booked another night on our return trip to Marrakech from the desert. Thank you Rashid and crew!! The only struggle is that the place is initially hard to find. The address is a bit difficult because the entrance sits back off the street and can only be accessed via the square where you park. There are two small signs on either side of the square which are easy to miss. Entrance to the the square is located a few houses east of where Google Maps pins the address on Rue Taza. The front door is located down a small alley on the west side of the square.

Wir fühlten uns sofort wohl. Das Riad ist stilvoll und mit liebe fürs Detaille eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war sehr grosszügig und es fehlte uns an nichts. • Rüdiger (10/5): Ein tolles Riad mit sehr schöner Atmosphäre und sehr freundlichem Personal. - Wir hatten das Dar Chams leider nur für eine Nacht auf der Rückreise nach Marrakesch gebucht. Das gesamte Riad ist frisch saniert, die Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Bad ist modern, die Betten ausgesprochen bequem. Die Mitarbeiter sind äußerst freundlich und aufmerksam, der Service insgesamt hervorragend. Besonders positiv hervorzuheben ist auch das sehr leckere Frühstück. Wir hatten zudem die Gelegenheit, den sehr gut Deutsch sprechenden Inhaber kennenzulernen, der uns jederzeit mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stand. Insgesamt ein rundum perfekter Aufenthalt.

• Mb (9/5): Bon séjour et proche des lieux à voir à pied - Bon accueil de notre hôte. Le Riad est propre et agréable. La chambre est grande. Proche de la fameuse Kasbah à pied environ 15/20mn à pied. Juste : petit déjeuner est le même dans tous les hôtels où on est passé, ajouter des fruits serait top.

Situé dans un endroit pas très éclairé, difficile à trouver, petit déjeuner limité. Chambre vieillotte et salle de bain qui manque d amour….
• Davide (10/5): Great base to explore Ouarzazate and nearby attractions - An exceptional stay. Rachid and his team were incredibly hospitable and welcoming throughout our visit. The guesthouse and our room were spotlessly clean and well-maintained. A huge plus was how warm the room was, with reliable hot water even in the middle of winter, which made our stay very comfortable. The mattresses are very firm but we personally liked that. The excellent breakfast was a highlight, featuring delicious warm crepes, a variety of spreads and olives. I would absolutely recommend this guesthouse. Thank you.

• Vivienne (7/5): Overall, decent stopover, we would recommend to anyone. - The decor of the riad is lovely and the view of the Atlas Mountain on the rooftop, is amazing. The staff brought us some complimentary mint tea and biscuits while on the rooftop. This was a lovely touch after a long day exploring the area. The staff and management were lovely and accommodating. There was a couple of times where there was no hot water coming through the shower, but after informing the staff, this was sorted immediately. Dinner was decent, however, we recommend the staff recognise to serve hot food. Our dinner was lukewarm. The breakfast was lovely though.

We liked the charming, traditional style of the interior and its decor. It is also very well located in the heart of Ouarzazate and in easy reach of restaurants, the bus station and the airport.

• Valérie (10/5): - Nous avons adoré notre séjour au Dar Chams. L’accueil a été excellent : thé de bienvenue accompagné de délicieuses pâtisseries, servi avec beaucoup d’attention. Le riad est superbe, à la fois typique et moderne, car il s’agit d’une ancienne maison familiale entièrement rénovée il y a un an. Les chambres sont propres, spacieuses et décorées avec goût. Le petit déjeuner, servi sur le toit-terrasse, offre une vue magnifique sur Ouarzazate. Le quartier est très calme, et un parking télésurveillé se trouve juste devant la porte, ce qui est très pratique. Une adresse que nous recommandons sans hésiter.

Pas de fenêtres sur l’extérieur mais uniquement sur le patio recouvert d’une véranda. L’air conditionné compense mais dommage d’avoir renoncé à faire circuler l’air naturel dans l’hôtel.
