• CHRISTOS (6/5): Ήσυχη διαμονή για 1 βράδυ - Πολύ ευγενικός και εξυπηρετικός ο Borris, μας βοήθησε σε ότι του ζητήσαμε, μας εξήγησε πως να πάμε στο κέντρο της πόλης και ακόμη και όταν του ζητήσαμε ένα σαπούνι για το μπάνιο, που δεν υπήρχε στο δωμάτιο, πήγε στο μάρκετ και το πήρε. Είχε 2 μονά κρεβάτια και θέση πάρκινγκ για το αυτοκίνητο μας, σε μια ήσυχη και καλή γειτονιά. Το δωμάτιο ήταν πολύ βρώμικο, οι μαξιλαροθήκες δεν ήταν πολύ καθαρές και το μπάνιο χρειαζόταν καθαριότητα και από εμάς για να είναι καθαρό. Το δωμάτιο δεν είχε κλιματισμό, ούτε ένα μικρό ψυγείο που είναι σημαντικό για να βάλει κάποιος το νερό του, ειδικά όταν μιλάμε για την καρδιά του καλοκαιριού. Ίσως θα μπορούσε να έχει και μια τοστιέρα για να ζεστάνει κάποιος το πρωινό του ή έστω κάτι να φάει. Αξίζει μόνο αν θέλει να μείνει κάποιος για ένα βράδυ. Το δωμάτιο είναι περίπου 20' με τα πόδια από το κέντρο, λογική απόσταση για κάποιον νεαρό όπως εγώ , αλλά όχι για ηλικιωμένο.

• Rendani (1/5): Very bad - Nothing The place was dusty and vert dirty. Extremely filthy. I had to clean bathroom. Windows don't close. Mattresses Extremely dirty. No breakfast but the front was too dirty and with flies I wouldn't have eaten. The surrounding area looks friendly and safe but we left early as we developed sinuses due to dust

• Mustafa (10/5): Everything was great - Every thing was great. The owner of the hostel is a very helpful and guiding person. He also offered coffee in every morning ahahah. He was so kind. You should choose. I chose a place far from the center because I like walking. If you don't like walking, this is a 30-minute walk from the center. But it wasn't a problem for me.

• Gundars (9/5): Superb - Very very nice host, so nice people! With this price I am 100% satisfied. Yes, I can say, maybe can be little more cleaner, but it doesnt bother me, because this place, host, breaksfest, everything was so lovely!
• Demircioğlu (1/5): Awful - Only Wi-Fi works good I think during this era rooms were not cleaned. Spider Web, dead ants, many various hairs, and fly blood are everywhere. Someone continuously smokes in front of the door. The window was not closed true etc.

• Elzioji (5/5): Would stay for the humor and smiles of the owners :) - The owners of the place are suuuuper lovely people with a great vibe - hospitable and joyful and funny :) The location is close to Vodno mountain with beautiful nature ! People could smoke in the room, so it was full of cigarette smell :( The bathrooms did not have toilet paper, had dirt everywhere and cold water. The location is okay but if you are tired a bit of exploring Skopje on foot or coming after a night out, you eventually spend money on taxi so not so much a value of money.
• Petar (10/5): Great value for money close to the center! - The rooms and accommodation are more than you would expect for this price. The sheets were clean and the shower was absolutely usable. People need to realize you are paying 5 euros a night for accommodation 20 minutes from the center on foot. Boris and his wife are lovely and very accommodating when it came to out requests. If you ask for it - they’ll try to provide it. Absolutely recommend this place, it is probably the cheapest in Skopje and you get what you pay for.

• Eve (9/5): You cannot find a better price! - The couple running this is very caring and accomodating! I couldn't ask for better hosts. I came here last year for a couple of days too and chose to stay with them this year as well. Plus I got to meet some really cool travelers. You do get what you pay for so don't be surprised but I think it's possible to overlook everything because the people of this place are genuinely nice!

• Friedhelm (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly owner, very good breakfast, comfortable beds. There is a fridge, hot water in the shower, good WiFi. That all for 5 € per night in the dorm. No reason to complain about anything in BSV Hostel.

• Dávid (1/5): DO NOT GO THERE - The male staff seemed to be friendly. Everything was bad. It was dirty, the pictures are not the same in reality, NO BREAKFAST. Full of bugs, dirt, mold, the mattress was demaged and the spring was outside, which can cut someone. The house itself with the strairs is a hell. No basic higiene. Just avoid it!!! Even if it is cheap.

I had my booking since 90 days ago (very beforehand even more than the rest of the guests) and when I arrive at 23.00 he told me there was no space for me but "let me in" a private room. The following day at 19.00 when I was at the top of the hill he menaced me to throw away my luggage and rejected my stay there because it was a high standard room mine (even though it is not my problem you had overbooked your accomodation). I tried to convince him several time, shown the bookings printed and so on but he was so stubborn and rude. I have plenty of screenshots and other proofs that I would love to share if needed so as to confirm my story. What a disappointing host. Nothing at all. • Est (3/5): Very cheap, but not clean - Both the owners were very nice and welcoming! Hygiene. Mattresses and walls were moldy, bathroom had not been cleaned for a long time. Also the doors couldn't lock and it was very noisy because of other rooms/guests and cars outside. WiFi wasn't working properly.

• Erik (3/5): Different standards. - Price and the hosts were pleasant enough. Everything else was pretty awful. Dirty and falling apart. Was seriously considering leaving. It's mentions breakfast, this is 2 slices of bread with mayo and a bit of sausage. No lockers. Can feel the springs through the matress. Feared that bed would fall apart. No lock on bathroom. I don't think the bad state is done on purpose but rather the hosts being old and not seeing it/accustomed to different standards.
• Michal (2/5): The worst place we have stayed for long. - Boris is a nice older man, so it is for us hard to write this, but his accommodation is terrible, dirty, full of spiders, mosquitos. Beds sheets were dirty, bathroom never seen any cleanning. Sorry Boris, you have to do a lot of work, and we are not very demanding customers. Dirty hole, sorry

• Daniel (6/5): Pleasant - It is really hard for me to rate the place - lets say it that way: you get what you pay for. If you are looking really cheap place to stay in Skopje for one night and don't care about cleanless / facilities - it may work for you. The hostel managed by a nice couple - very friendly and supportive. We stay at private room - 2 beds and bathroom inside the room. the beds are ok. Included breakfast is just a pice of bread with some chocolate past, 1 Petit-Beurre and small cup of tea. Not too far from center of the city. 1. Cleanless!!! the room and especially the bathroom was SOOOO dirty!! even we came by bicycle and were dirty by ourself I wasn't able to get into the bathroom :( 2. Breakfast - don't count on it.
• Julian (1/5): (!) Bed Bugs - Not recommended - - cheap - nice host (only the guy) (!) Bed bugs, very dirty everywhere. The male host was really nice, but the female seemed to be crazy and shouted instead of talking like a 'normal person'. Would not recommend, although it's really cheap

• S. (9/5): The cheapest accommodation I have ever stayed in - The hosting family running the hostel are very welcoming and very understanding. They take only cash for accomodation. The hostel has 2 rooms, but only 2 guests in the day I visited. The room has 6 sleeping places - 3 double beds with a small bathroom with hot water. The wifi was not working in the room, but only in the lobby. The walls of the room were with mold because the rooms are situated in a basement but very high. Windows are not very helpful against the outdoor noise.

• Liam (3/5): Get what you pay for - The Owners Borris and Vasilka were very nice and wanted to chat a lot The beds were mouldy and the bathroom was disgusting. When I was shown where it was, I saw a rat run back into the floor drain. The dusty rooms made the air quality terrible as well.

Boris is a very friendly manager. very hard to rate the cleanliness because it is clean as its price which is "not". shower and WC are not clean. and the room was cold at night.
• Dragan (9/5): Superb - The hosts were very friendly and the location is very good-about 10 to 15 minutes from downtown.It's not a luxory place,but an exeptionally priceworthy place.There are some midrange markets, restaurants and Caffes very nearby.If you got known the place well,it will quite meet your expectations.The owners are very goodhearted people and they're offering you free coffee and brandy everytime.Breakfast isn't included The rooms aren't heated,which can be a problem in the winter,but in the summer it isn't.I had to share my room with another guest, although the owners are my friends and know,that I'm always insisting for a solo room.But, considering the low price it was a very worthy stay for a few days in a very beautiful city
• Apeināns (3/5): I felt like scammed I went there alone, hosts at first thought I will be with 6 people, but was alon - I'm sorry, but I booked this room as with private bathtoom, not with 6 dorm like bunkbeds that are all moldy, mold on walls narrow space in walking area where the only internet connection is decent. And other people are there offering to share Rakija( which was the only good part). I Do not want to go in yo details. I have photos. I damaged my private belongings, completly, because of no space at only place with internet. I didnt have breakfast that was suppose to be included, nor info where to go and what time to get it. I'm am utterly disgusted by the private bathroom room, there is shower on top of toilet. And I was changed 60 euros. Felt scammed but was nowehere else to go as I arrive late in night. I wouldnt stay there even if ive got payed for staying there. I went there with no expectations and spent 60 euros on peace of ****.... noone warned me and hostel gladly took the money before I went in room even tho I felt like something is off. I spent there 2 days because I smashed my phone on first night in only place of internet. Because there was Rakija involved... I could continue. I was without expectations but this was pure stealing!
• Luca (3/5): Nice hosts, good value for the money, but way too dirty - The host was very friendly and helpful, they offered me kompot the first day that was very tasty So, it says breakfast included but It was never mentioned to me, maybe i should have asked. It also says private bathroom, which isn't true. Moreover, all the place is incredibly dirty and smells like mold. But literally everywhere , i can't emphatise this enough. Probably never gets cleaned. The mattreses are also dirty and stained. Sheets and blankets are clean though. There's no light in the room, just a little improvised abat jours
