- Rahim (8/5): Very good - Getting to the property, surroundings, and the location is perfect. The beds were very comfortable and for the main part the property was clean. The bed board had dust that's not been wiped, which clearly indicates that cleaning is done in a hurry and no attention is paid to places that are not directly in reach. The bathroom upstairs: the shower needs attention, it's just been put there with no attention to the fact that a grown up cannot fit there to have a proper shower, the shower curtain is not protecting any water from spreading all over the bathroom and making its way to the room, the shower curtain is wrong and its installation is also. The kitchen had cracked glass, and one of the kettle for boiling hot weather was done. We letf that in the side for the host to notice.
- Marianne (5/5): It would have been great if a few avoidable issues had been dealt with. - Lots of positives - great location. Lovely looking apartment. High ceilings, plenty of room for what we needed. We liked the decor. When I dealt with staff on the phone they were completely professional and helpful, very pleased with that side of things. We arrived late Monday evening as we wanted to start our holiday fresh on Tuesday morning. We were told it was third floor, door on the right and was given the access codes. Unfortunately this was the wrong apartment. This was all we needed at that time of the evening. It was missing a double bedroom and bathroom to name a couple of things. I located the customer service number and got through thankfully. The member of staff asked me to send photos of the apartment I was in and asked me how I knew to go there. This last part surprised me a bit but she was helpful nevertheless. I sent the photos of the apartment and a screenshot of the booking.com information page. There was a couple of back and forths, I was then given the information that the actual apartment we should’ve been sent to was on the second floor the left door, and we were given the new access codes. I would say we were moved within the hour, not too long, but considering it was late in the evening, that was bad enough. Once in the apartment we noticed that in the main bathroom, only one of the three lights were working. Considering it was very late in the evening and I didn’t want to make any phone calls, I used the email address where I had been communicating with a member of staff, to let them know there was only one out of three lights working. I received an email the following day asking me to send a photograph of the lights which I did. I received a reply in the afternoon to say that the lights would be changed on the Wednesday. I gave my permission for the property to be entered if we weren’t there. Unfortunately, no one came on the Wednesday or the Thursday. We checked out on the Friday. It was quite dark and we were constantly worried about tripping over when coming out of the shower as we couldn’t see clear enough. There was an elderly gentleman who needed to use the bigger bathroom so this was not acceptable. The Men, they couldn’t see properly to shave!
- Rafael (4/5): Ok - That everytine we had to get into the building the code would not work due to a faulty breaker switch. Instead they should have replaced the switch right away to avoid calling in 4 and 5 times per day
- Edna (1/5): Unpleasant - If I could give 0 I would. The place was dirty, broken stuff, pictures are not accurate. The furniture is old and with stains. I complained about the lift but they didn’t seem to care. My sister and niece got stuck on the lift for 15min, had to call the emergency to get them out of there, not even an email to check if we were ok and an apology. They blamed us for using the lift. If you advertise that you have a lift make sure that it actually works properly and add that it only fit 2 people.
- Bruno (7/5): Beautiful apartment, great location, disappointing showers and not entirely accessible - The flat is well decorated and very spacious, with all the appliances. Location is excellent. We had a person in a wheelchair with us, and the lift was so small and unstable that it felt like it might break down or get stuck at any moment. The entire building seemed to be running low on power; even the air conditioners, coffee machines, kettle, and fan struggled to operate at full capacity (the fan’s blades barely moved when we tried to turn it on), and the lift had the same issue. It struggled to ascend, slowed down noticeably, and on more than one occasion, we had to stop at a lower floor and get out because it seemed like the lift was about to fail. If you need wheelchair accessibility, this place is not suitable. The showers were also disappointing. The one on the first floor wouldn’t heat up, and the one on the second floor is so small and cramped that it’s difficult to fit, but unfortunately, it’s the only option available.

- Keith (9/5): Amazing place, made the holiday perfect having such a wonderful apartment. - Superb size, quality and location. It was a little bit bare, could have done with a little more comforts for the price. More Towels, soaps, bathrobes. Large tv, perhaps a BBQ in the patio. These are minor things though that didn’t really affect the holiday.

- Desiree (2/5): run down property not worth it - only the support staff to address the daily issues that came up during our stay it’s run down and needs investment - hot water heater issues - had to call to get it fixed - shower heads very old dripping water could barely get the soap pot of my hair. Got stuck in the elevator between floors
- Angie (9/5): A casual place if you want a good location, clean apartment and some space to spread out. - The location was perfect. Close to everything on a great street with a nice wine/app restaurant, gelato, market, etc. The apartment was great for four people. They provided dish soap, some laundry soap, toilet paper, and an extra garbage bag which was nice. This sink in the bathroom didn't drain well, the shower was tough to regulate the temperature. A few maintenance things on kitchen cupboards was needed. Overall, a little TLC was needed in the place, but it was clean, spacious enough and any questions we had Altido was responsive.
- Fletcher (9/5): Good location for exploring the city. - The location made it quite easy to walk everywhere and explore the city. Great mattresses, we stayed in 3 locations while in Portugal and by far this host supplied the most comfortable. After long days and nights of walking that was fantastic to have. Apartment was very clean. Enjoyed the use of the small balcony for a quiet moment to chat before starting our busy days. We certainly could have used more than just one chair or a small table would have been great too. It’s the little things that can make guests more comfortable. The bathtub surface in the shower was terrifyingly slippery. In order to prevent a fall while showering or getting in and out, I had to place a small towel down for safety. The shower head in the small bathroom would not remain in place making a pleasant shower a challenge. The bidet was non functional, since the drain was stuck in the closed position. Missing lampshades could easily be replaced. All these issues could be easily addressed and should be to offer an improved and safer experience during a stay for guests.

- Sophie (5/5): It could have been a lot better - Location was perfect and it was very spacious. No hot water and the staff did not do anything to help that situation. The appliances were very poor, neither televisions seemed to work.
- Anne (2/5): Nice apartment but badly managed - The apartment was spacious, well fitted out and in a good location but I have given it a low rating because of the problems we experienced. The hosts were meant to send me the code to get into the building just before I arrived in Lisbon but they never sent it to me. I had to phone them to get it while standing outside the building with our suitcases and their email took quite a while to download. It was not a good start. Our son had packed dvds that we planned to watch in the evenings but, although there was a basic dvd player in the living room it had no plug, no remote and no TV plug. I phoned again (many times) and they promised to come and fix this. They did eventually supply plugs, but the TV didn't work because they had not set it up through the internet as promised, Anyway, with no remote it was impossible to play anything on the dvd. Then the TV in the bedroom stopped working. I think this had to do with their attempt and failure to connect the living room TV to the internet. The people I dealt with on the phone were just PR people. If you are going to charge a lot of money to rent an apartment you need to make sure that the facilities you list actually work.

- Tim (9/5): Family holiday in central Lisbon in well-equipped apartment - It was a very well equipped apartment in a great location to explore Lisbon, very handy for Trams/Metro which we used alot. If not good at hills there is a free lift opposite that takes you down to the lower city level. All the facilities were well explained and lots of extras - dishwasher tabs etc included. Wifi worked well and aircon welcome on hot dayes Nothing comes to mind
