- Kerry (10/5): An abolsute must! - I am based in Vietnam and travel around Asia frequently. I would rate this property as the best value for money that I’ve stayed in over the past two years. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. All the rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was very generous and the location is exactly where you need to be. Can’t recommend this highly enough.

- CYRILLE (1/5): - Ls seconde chambre attribué était très bien au second étage, sans vis à vis. Endroit calme à quelques minutes de marche du centre d activités. La chambre attribuée à l arrivé ne convenait pas du tout, au rez-de-chaussée, sombre et sans vue. La piscine le long de la route n invite pas à l utiliser. Zéro pointé au gars de la réception qui devait me réserver un Grab pour le lendemain matin de bonne heure pour l aéroport, et qui ne l avait pas fait, sous prétexte qu'il pouvait le faire le matin même... Sans prendre en considération qu il y avait une course à pied organisé et que tous les accès étaient bloqués. On dira que j ai eu mon vol, mais quel stress et quelle course !

- Leanne (7/5): - Staff were friendly. Wifi worked well. So did the AC but it dripped all over the bed. Good location for the New Year Celebrations. Close to the market and the street partys. We had so many mosquitos in our room. We got so many bites. There was loads in the bathroom every night too and it had no windows. No idea where they were coming from. Place needs a good deep clean, our room was very dusty and full of bugs. Bathroom had a strong smell of sewage. They offered free breakfast but it was dry bread and cold eggs and some fruits. Good if your on a budget i guess.

"Hot" water wasn't even tepid. It was cool. Having a pool was nice, but it's in the front parking lot and is basically like swimming in dirty bleach. Room was somehow filled with mosquitoes at night. Breakfast looked like room temperature hepatitis A, but good safer looking options nearby One small diirty window overlooking a high wall and a pile of garbage. The upstairs rooms might be nicer, but i was downstairs. Partly my fault because I paid for 3 nights before seeing the room. I am an experienced traveler in my 60s. I know Ventienne is kind of a dump (been here lots) so I don't think there are many pleasant budget options.

Breakfast was pretty basic eggs and toast not worth to pay extra if you stay. There was a pool but there was no water circulation so dont recommend swimming in that.

- Maryline (6/5): Big Cleanliness issue, but amazing location! - Location is perfect, right in the center, but on a quiet street. Room is so spacious!!! Room was not clean at all. So much dust at the headboard and spider web. I've never seen that worst even on low budget hotels. There was a yellow sticky stain on the toilet ring, I feel like it was not even cleaned from the previous guest. Haïr all over the barhub. Serious cleanliness issue here. Also, we had a room right next to breakfast, it was so noisy early in the morning. And the neighbour above us was also noisy (rooms at not isolated at all) you can hear everything. Hard to rest

Το δωμάτιο ήταν σχετικά καθαρό αλλά γεμάτο με εκατομμύρια κουνούπια (ο ρεσεψιόν τουλάχιστον προσπάθησε...μας έφερε αντικουνουπικο) υπήρχαν κατσαρίδες στους διαδρόμους. Πρωινό στο όριο... Προσοχή πριν κλείσετε βελτιωθείτε ότι θα πάρετε το σωστό δωμάτιο

The staff is VERY helpful, help to print a visa for Vietnam, laundry, advises, thanks to them. The breakfast quality was poor. The swimming pool directly on the street = no very private.
- Mario (6/5): Für eine Nacht noch in Ordnung. - Wir hatten ein Zimmer in der unteren Etage, welches sehr abgewohnt war. Tür im Bad ging kaum zu schließen, da unteres Türband abgebrochen war. Die ganze Nacht machte eine Wasserpumpe, welche direkt unter dem Fenster installiert war Geräusche. Es roch im Zimmer auch nicht angenehm, wahrscheinlich durch die Abluft eines Restaurants im Nebengebäude. Frühstücksbüffet war etwas lieblos angerichtet und teilweise wenig schmackhaft. Es müsste vor allem die untere Etage renoviert werden. Spione in den Türen fehlten, wurden mit Papierkugeln verschlossen. Beim Frühstück ist noch viel Luft nach oben.

Management obviously choosing to do nothing about it. Picture included, easy fix with fittings and plumbers pipe adhesive. Pressurisation water pump outside window cycling on and off consistently. Annoying sound. Build a sound reducing cover for it. Again commented on previously by other. - Cydney (3/5): Dissapointed - Location The staff smoked inside the hotel. They overcharge in KIP, so have your converter or pay with a card with the 4% charge. I was paying pet fees, but they wanted $20 USD for SMALL stains and cat hair on the bed even though i stayed in the room for 3ish weeks, and they dont even do their own laundry. And even though I was paying the older guy pet fees. Turns out he just pocketed the pet fees. Room 1 has a methane leak in the bathroom and is dark, small, and dingy. Room 3 was dark. Room 7 was the best, bright, and big.
- Desmarets (9/5): - Le personnel à l'accueil a été très agréable et souriant pendant notre séjour de 4 nuits. La chambre triple était grande, la clim marchait et la SDB était propre. Le petit déjeuner changeait tous les matins et en plus du riz ou pâtes, fruits, on pouvait choisir entre pancakes au chocolat/oeuf au plat/omelette ou oeufs brouillés. Par contre les "grands patrons" sont passés un soir, pas un bonjour, pas un sourire, juste pour récupérer leur argent, très désagréable en sachant que cet argent récolté vient des clients. Le coffre de sécurité qui ne fonctionnait pas. Pas de lampe de chevet. Beaucoup de moustiques. Le réceptionniste qui ne parle pas anglais et qui passe son temps sur son téléphone la musique à fond. Le petit déjeuner orible( café soluble, pas de beurre, confiture chimique, le riz, les nouilles et les œufs durs pas dans des boîtes où assiettes exposés aux mouches et à la chaleur. J'ai vite changé d'hôtel pour bien mieux pour 6 dollars de plus.b

- Dino (8/5): This hotel actually delivers better service than some so-called ‘hotels’ that charge more. - Breakfast was pretty average, so I often chose to eat outside the hotel. To be fair, I’m quite picky since I don’t eat bread, rice, or processed food. The hotel is well-located, clean, and provides the basic comforts you would expect (TV with HDMI, shower, etc.), so overall it delivers good value. It would be even better if there were permanent staff at reception available at all times, ideally with English/Lao language skills. The staff I met were very friendly. It's just there seemed to be a lot of turnover.
