Guest Reviews
- Aditya (6/5): - backyard, decent rooms, cockroaches, doors falling apart, a rundown neighbourhood, broken microwave
- Crystal (9/5): Nice little home - Nice little property close to town. Was very close to neighbors
- Rosalyn (5/5): Cute cottage however highly priced. Better communication required with your guests. - The cottage is cute with a vibrant exterior color. The house had enough space to accommodate our family of six. I didn’t like that the house was dusty, there was dust on the vents bathroom above the shower and on the lamps over the beds. There was animal hair under the bed. There were no curtains in the bedroom with the bunk bed. The pictures online of the property are deceptive because there was no patio furniture in the back for guests to sit outside. The Internet didn’t work, my grandchildren were getting bored because of the TV, the Internet finally started to work, there was a message stating that there was weak signal so spectrum might not work as well out there. Also the owner didn’t email instructions for the home’s usage I had to message him and call him. This was my first Airbnb stay so it would be nice if the owner called it even emailed me to let me know what to do. Overall we worked it out and still managed to enjoy our stay in Leland/Wilmington area.
- William (8/5): Great value but needs cleaning supplies and blinds - There were no windows coverings that neighbors couldnt see through. There was no broom or mop
- Heidi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Louise (9/5): It was a wonderful stay. It made being our trip extra special. - The location was perfect, close enough to stores and family without taking away from the quiet we all needed. Doesn’t seem anyone checked on the property before our arrival. Though it was clean there were a few things that needed to improve.
- David (10/5): Cozy cottage - The decor, the private yard, and the hammock The hidden street
- Pam (10/5): it was like being at home very comfortable - quiet and felt like home everything was perfect except the tvs didn’t work and there are ants coming in and all over the kitchen counter. we sprayed. 👌
- Michael (10/5): This was a sleeping place for us as we came down to fish. Cottage was near our old homeplace! - I liked the location. I could walk down to Cypress Cove at the end of the street and fish; which is why I came down for; to fish. I came down with nasal congestion due to allergies and there was no Klennex.
- Anonymous (10/5): great place! -
- Angel (7/5): Very comfortable but cleaning could be better. - We liked how close this property was to town and other cities. Quiet neighborhood. Friendly Neighbors. Owner did get the property somewhat cleaned due to our early arrival time. The Booking was confusing, we had a checkin time between 6-7am but we were told when we got there check-in was at 4pm. Owner got their housekeeper to clean the home in a decent time for us to be in there earlier than 4pm. BUT! Dishes and all cooking pots and pans weren’t cleaned, they were all greasy and still had food stuck to them. One of the showers had a bug in it. Dust and cob webs everywhere. Food on the walls. Fridge was Dirty with food in it still. Owner either needs to get a new house keeper or don’t charge a $175 cleaning fee. Waste of Money on that part.
- Lawrrnce (9/5): Superb -
