Frigo fourni et des équipements de cuisine. Situé non loin du centre mais dans un quartier calme donc on dort super bien. Fenêtres bonne qualité donc quand on ferme on n'entend pas de bruit. La douche éclabousse partout et ne sort pas bien de la tête de douche et donc yen avait partout par terre mais l'hôte allait le réparer. Rien d'autre !

• Christine (10/5): Wir hatten tolle 3 Nächte! - Preis-Leistung unschlagbar! Die Unterkunft ist in einer super Lage in Monopoli. Roberto ist ein toller Gastgeber, er gab uns Tipps, die Kommunikation war einfach und schnell und wenn wir etwas brauchten (z.B neue Handtücher) war das überhaupt kein Problem. Bett für italienische Verhältnisse groß und sehr bequem.

Molto carino anche il piccolo balconcino che dà su strada. L’appartamento é situato al terzo piano di un edificio storico, quindi i gradini delle scale si fanno sentire man mano che si sale, anche se comunque la scalinata é agevole.

• Ana (9/5): Good value for money and a friendly host. A solid choice for a short stay in Monopoli. - I had a pleasant stay at Petracca Guest House. The location is great – just a 10-minute walk from the train station and the city center. The apartment is spacious and has all the basic things you need in the kitchenette. The small balcony offers a lovely view, which was a nice bonus. There are a few things that could be improved. None of the electrical outlets fit my hairdryer, so I had to use the extension cord from the mini fridge. The AC was a bit slow to heat the room. Also, the bed sheets had a slightly odd smell – not dirty, but as if they hadn’t been used or aired out in a while.

The location is also great, within walking distance to both the old town and the train station. The kitchen (utensils, etc) could be a bit better equipped, but still enough to cook simple meals. We missed the balcony table from the photos too, but it was a 10/10 anyways

Polecam piekarnie Giorgio w poblizu przepyszne świeże pieczywo, pizzerki, foccaccie. Bardzo doby kontakt z właścicielem, Roberto przywitał nas w wyznaczonym czasie, polecił dobre knajpki, z których skorzystaliśmy.. Co do samego pokoju był ok., choć trafiliśmy chyba na ten gorszy apartament, bez balkonu i łazienka wymagająca juz remontu. Prysznic mozna byłoby wymienić. Ogólnie czysto, łóżko wygodne, aneks kuchenny wyposażony. Cicha okolica. Chyba tylko łazienka wymagająca remontu, nie czułam sie w niej komfortowo
• Igor (6/5): - We spent a few days in these apartments and overall had a pleasant stay. The location is great – close to the main square and old town, and within easy walking distance from the train station. Check-in and check-out were smooth thanks to the self-service system. The host, Roberto, was very helpful and kind: he recommended nice places to visit in the evening, explained how to reach nearby towns by bus, and came immediately to fix the air conditioning when we asked. I also want to highlight the very comfortable bed and pillows, which made for an excellent night’s sleep. On the downside, cleanliness could be improved. At first glance everything seemed fine, but the floors were sticky, there was a noticeable amount of dust (especially above and below eye level), and the mirror in the room was only cleaned as far as the cleaner’s reach — the edge line was clearly visible. The amount of dust suggested that the place hadn’t been properly cleaned for quite some time. There’s also some mould under the flower shelf that has been mentioned in other reviews and still hasn’t been addressed. In addition, there was no kettle to boil water for tea, and if you want to make coffee, you need to figure out how to use the coffee kettle provided. The pot we used to heat water for tea was completely scaled inside. Roberto, if you’re reading this – we truly appreciate your warmth and helpfulness. Our feedback comes from goodwill. We’re not picky guests, but even for us the cleanliness was a bit too much. Please improve this part, and good luck!
• Katarzyna (7/5): - Lokalizacja na plus, blisko dworca i blisko starego miasta. Właściciel pomocny. Rezerwując obiekt myślałam, że dostanę pokój z nową łazienką i z balkonem (tylko taki wyświetlał się na miniaturce przy wyborze opcji), niestety dostaliśmy inny pokój - ze starą łazienką i bez balkonu. Łazienka naprawdę wymaga już remontu, szczególnie prysznic powinien być wymieniony.

Una bottiglietta di acqua sarebbe stata di gradimento. L’entrata nell’appartamento un po’ stretta per bagagli di grandi dimensioni.

Die Dusche hat auch schon bessere Jahre erlebt ( gehört bitte unbedingt erneuert ). Persönliches: Matratze und Polster waren leider nichts für mich/uns. Hatte leider danach üble Rückenschmerzen.

No tuvimos muchos problemas para aparcar sin pagar en la zona y la comunicación con Roberto fue fácil. Nosotros nos sentimos muy a gusto en el apartamento, buen wifi y cama muy cómoda. Las calas más recomendables se encuentran a 20’-30’ caminado dsd el alojamiento si no se dispone de coche.

• Paula (7/5): Good place for summer - the apartment is very close to the center of Monopoli, in a quiet area the apartment was very cold, we noticed it right after we picked up the keys and informed the owner but he said that the radiators were turned on automatically, the radiators were only on between 5pm and 9pm, at night, in the morning and at noon it was very cold, so I do not recommend renting on cold days, in the summer it will not be a problem

Owner was lovely and also left ground coffee for us and on request brought us a chopping board. Our flat did not have a balcony as pictured- I think only one does. Up two flights of stairs for those with mobility issues.
• Kirsten (5/5): Needs some proper maintenance and deep cleaning. - It was a short 10-15 min walk from the Old Town in Monopoli. Did like the fact it had a balcony. The sheets were not clean. We contacted the owner once we realised there were stains on the sheets. They assured us they were clean which may have been the case but putting stained sheets on the bed does not feel right. They said they would change them the next day so I slept on top of a towel that night. Upon inspecting the rest of the apartment, the plates, cups and kitchen ware was also dirty. Everything needed a proper clean. There was issues with the lights flickering on/off and sometimes not working altogether. It was a very small space. Yes there were cupboards for hanging clothes, etc but not a functional space for putting a suitcase or large bags.

The kitchen could have used a couple more things for making meal preparation a bit easier, such as tea towels and some more/larger cooking knives to name a few. You can definitely make do with what is provided however.

• Emmanuel (10/5): Highly recommended! - The flat is conveniently located, in an area that is on the cusp of the pedestrian-only old town, so it was very easy to go there by foot, but also to park a car in the nearby streets if you come with one. The flat itself was lovely, clean and well equipped, including AC. Our host was in constant touch with us, from instructions to get in, to helping us with the washing machine, to solving a minor issue with power outage (all of it in English). Value-for-money-wise, it felt like a very good deal. This is really nitpicking, but the provided towels had a tendency to peal off, leaving mini bits of white fluffy threads on the skin.
