Guest Reviews
- Deborah (8/5): Great, easy getaway. - Staff very helpful, thank you.
- Deb (8/5): Enjoyable - Keys were in the door upon arrival
An email was issued on the day providing instructions
The cabins were clean, bedding and lined was clean, beds and bedding was comfortable and warm. The kitchen had all that you need for a stay. Did not use the BBQ or fire pit. The TV in the 2nd cabin did not work - signal problems and the park manager wasn’t able to help.
Some railing on the deck and better handrails should be provided for safety reasons.
We had to use the toilet block at times when our bathroom was occupied- I don’t mind that it was older style however the basins really need a good scrub and clean.
- Vicki (9/5): Fabulous accomodation and great staff - Glamping tent was great Communal Bathroom was quite old and appeared dirty
- Susan (10/5): - Quiet and secluded. Cabin was very comfy. Everything you ask for. No store nearby that sold the essentials.
- Taneisha (8/5): -
- Tyson (10/5): -
- Liz (10/5): -
- Tahnee (8/5): - The bed was super comfy, room was air-conditioned, clean and modern inside, Netflix available on the TV.
- nathan (10/5): nice quiet scenic location shepherds cabin was exceptional - nice cosy quiet little cabin well set up clean nothing
- Anatolie (8/5): - The tent was really nice. It didn’t have a good smell inside. Nothing really serious.
- Rebecca (9/5): Great place to stay if your looking for quiet, relaxing and somewhere you can see the stars! - We had a great time at the property, so peaceful and quiet and a great place to escape for a long weekend! Loved the quick walk to the pub. Bed was comfy and had everything we could have needed Would have loved some fly wires on the windows so they could be opened without the flies coming in.
- Garth (8/5): Glamping - The glamping tent was magnificent The toilet shower facilities are run down
- Tricia (7/5): A good budget stop on the way to Melbourne - Exactly as in the photos – a small cabin with kitchenette and bathroom. Very clean. Comfortable bed but one person has to climb over the other to get in and out. Short walk to the pub for a good feed. The exterior is pretty down at heel so doesn’t match the interior.
- Jacinta (5/5): -
- Kevin (6/5): Enjoyable but slightly concerning - The room/ tent was really cosy and comfortable, and the surrounding bush area was nice The bathrooms were old, dirty and broken so it wasn’t very nice to use them
- Stephen (10/5): -
- natalie (8/5): Comfortable stay, good for a pit stop - Comfortable stay, helpful staff. We ended up the pub every night which was convenient and had good food. We were looking forward to having a fire pit but understandable that restrictions were in place in summertime.
- Kate (8/5): -
- Stephanie (10/5): Peaceful weekend getaway - It was so peaceful and beautifully set up It was just a little unfortunate that there was no reception, but it was also nice to be able to completely switch off
- Nick (3/5): - Ad stated full kitchen
No kitchen in unit we were put in
No oil to even cook on the barbecue
Bed was horrible
Not one bit of contact from the owners even when I engaged in conversation when they walked past
No flywires on windows so unit got very hot over night
- Smith (10/5): -
- Kym (9/5): -
- Amanda (8/5): - The tiny house had everything I needed Blinds had stains.

- Paul (9/5): Nice peaceful stay - Lovely & secluded ??
- Darren (10/5): -
- Antony (8/5): Pleasant stay in a very clean cabin. - Very clean and the cabin has all you need albeit relatively basic when it comes to cutlery. The bed is super soft and actually way too soft. Doesn’t suit all as it sinks like a bathtub.
- Joanne (8/5): -
- Ralf (10/5): -
- Yvonne (3/5): The cabin was not clean and bed was ver uncomfortable. Probably would not stay again or recommend it. - Eldorado is a cute little town and the little pub is really nice for a meal. The accommodation is walking distance to the pub which is good The couples cabin was really cute but was let down by the lack of cleanliness and it needs a bit of love and maintenance. With a bit of sprucing up and some love, it would be really nice to stay.
- walsh (10/5): -
- Shelley (7/5): - Loved the experience of staying in a glamping tent
Loved the noises of the birds in the morning The facilities were very dated and looked unclean
The bed was a bit hard for me, although I know this is personal preference.
- Simone (8/5): Cute and unique stay, close to tavern. - The glamping tent is cosy and unique.
Bed was comfortable.
Short walk to tavern. That the toilet was a bit of a walk and out dated facilities. (However if i was in my 20- 30's would not bother me a bit spoilt and older haha)
- Carl (8/5): -
- Vainikka (8/5): Very good - Beautiful, quiet location. Historical town. Lovely walk along the riverside
Beautiful tiny house and the deck with the views was awesome and relaxing The bed was a bit soft.
- Fiona (8/5): Lovely location and cabins with starry skies, and fire at night - Cute tiny homes, lovely outlook, fire pit with wood available I didn’t realise there was no internet or phone reception. There wasn’t really a common indoor place to hang out. The 2seater lounge in the bunk room couldn’t cater for us all.
- Janet (8/5): Cute and cosy tiny house cabins - Clean and comfortable. Cute little tiny house with separate cabin for additional guest. Quite cosy. Nicely maintained caravan park in pleasant setting. Very good value. No mirror - had everything else though. Note separate cabin for additional guest does not have a bathroom (not a problem but need to be aware)
- Julie (7/5): -
- Sharyn (10/5): -
- Hudson (10/5): - The glamping tents were so cute and cosy. The heaters worked well so we didn't go cold or anything. Very romantic little place to stay. Short walk to the pub which had an awesome feed. Was a great weekend. Will definitely be back oneday in the near future.
- Heather (8/5): -
- Brandviser (8/5): Very Good. Love it. Just no wifi - Stay, ambience and location. Very aesthetic No Reception or Wifi
- Prabuditha (10/5): -
- Rachael (10/5): Quiet and cosy - Jackie was so helpful with any questions we had. The bed in the cabin was super comfy. Walking distance to a good feed at the pub too. No Optus reception but the pub has WiFi.
- Valerie (10/5): Nice experience - It’s a very cute place to stay firewood and firepit a little bit expensive
- Suman (8/5): Very good - Shawn was very kind to rebook us for different day. Place and service was wonderful. Cold weather
- Marissa (10/5): Exceptional -
- Chloe (10/5): Exceptional -
- Christine (8/5): Very good -
- Kris (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kerrianne (3/5): Smelly - It was beautifully presented, the host was lovely. However there was a terrible sewage issue that the owners know about because we were not the first guests to complain. It was -5 and we had to sleep with all the windows open because the drains inside stunk. We had to have the heater going all night to keep warm. If they know about it why rent it out? It was awful. Call to make sure it is fixed before you book. It is a beautiful property and location. Shame really.
- Rebecca (10/5): Everything was perfect. The shower didn’t have a lot of pressure and ran out of hot water pretty quickly, but otherwise -
- Robyn (3/5): Poor -
- Jane (7/5): Good -
- Iva (10/5): Great place - Everything was great Nothing i didnt like
- Miranda (10/5): Exceptional -
- Steven (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dervla (10/5): Exceptional -
- Nicole (1/5): Revolting.shouldn’thave taken my booking if couldn’t get cleaners or emptied bins in toilets totally not worth the mone - Location Filthy bathroom with sanity napkins bursting out of the bin. Smell made me throw out my prawns I had brought to enjoy for dinner.
Spider above bed
- Melinda (8/5): Enjoyed the quiet and bird song and cute accomodation. Jackie was very helpful and friendly - Quiet. Interesting location NA
- Christian (9/5): Superb -
- Scott (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jayde (7/5): Overall, I would stay here again if the bathrooms were cleaned. - The tents were lovely, and clean. There was a couple of dusty spots which you would expect; you are camping. The beds were comfy and it has all you could need for a short stay. I would come back again. The amenities were dirty, the showers and toilet’s definitely could use a clean. We would feel the need to use a public toilet before coming back to the sites.
- Justin (9/5): Superb -
- Katrin (10/5): Nice and cozy, really enjoyed our stay. - Very friendly management, comfortable glamping tent with microwave, kettle, fridge, reverse air conditioning unit. Comfy bed and very cosy. Also pleasantly surprised that there was a shower chair in the showers, which would make it easier for people who have difficulty standing up taking a shower. Excellent water pressure as well. The toilet block might be too small in peak season with only 3 showers and toilets, but was not a problem when we stayed. There is also one separate shower with baby changing station.
- Emma (10/5): Highly recommend a stay here! - It was really peaceful and the tents are stunning!
- Jeremy (8/5): Very good -
- Andrew (10/5): Exceptional -
- R (7/5): Beautiful location and tent in north Victoria - The tent was cozy and really well equipped. There was a bar corner inside the tent, for a quick breakfast as well as a mini fridge. the bed was comfy and the atmosphere inside was really nice.
great location as well The cleanliness could definitely be better, but it is still a camping experience, so it is fine! The tend is surrounded by other camping experiences pretty close by. I would prefer all the camping tents close to each other and more isolated from caravan/ vans
- Ian (10/5): Exceptional - The family cabin was perfect for our trio and Jackie was super welcoming Not much I can think of
- Emma (10/5): Great place to stay :) - Easy to find and had clean facilities!
- Julie (8/5): Clean & comfortable, friendly staff, Pub close by - Comfortable bed, cleanliness and atmosphere of glamping tent, kitchen essentials, airconditioning Washing amenities are clean but very dated
- Thanh (8/5): Very good -
- Craig (10/5): Exceptional -
- Maggie (9/5): Superb -
- Deborah (9/5): Superb -
- Julie (9/5): Superb - The setting, the concept Bed agai St a wall - difficult to get Iin and out.
- Molly (7/5): Good - Glamping tent had everything you needed including comfy bed, airconditioning, fridge, microwave, plates and cutlery etc. Bathrooms are old and need to be better maintained
- Bradley (8/5): Basic but clean and a very warm welcome from Jackie! - Glamping tents were very clean and comfortable
Shared facilities (wash up area, toilets, showers etc) were clean but basic and a bit dated Camp sites are pretty close together and not much separation. The pub next door was loud until 1.00am, but it was a Saturday night, so….
- Gerardine (8/5): Very good - Loved the setting.
- Surinder (7/5): Good -
- Adam (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely little town. Great cabins brand new...
- Natalie (9/5): Clean, quality, comfortable - Extremely clean and comfy cabins with plenty of smart and quality touches. The linen and towels were lovely. If we’d been more prepared we’d have taken advantage of the great bbq and deck. Shower was fab. Having the two rooms totally separate wasn’t ideal for little kids (I was just sad I had to bunk with the littlest and not sleep in the comfy bed!), but I should have checked the listing more thoroughly.
- Wayne (8/5): Much needed comfort after a day panning in the river - Clean and comfy accommodation. Everything we needed to cook some bacon rolls on a morning on the nice clean bbq. Shower was great. Definitely worth spending a bit of extra money not having to bother with tents and equipment at the end of a long year The contactless check in is a bit too impersonal. It makes it lose some of the friendly regional Victorian charm you get when you leave the city.
- Polly (10/5): Would be even nicer in winter! - Very tasteful and everything you needed. Could have had more than one tea bag each!
- Ben (10/5): It was amazing would happily stay again and would highly recommend to other staff where so kind and lovely. - It was clean and beautiful to wake up and go for a walk around. How far away the toilets where
- Jason (10/5): Exceptional -
- Carolyn (10/5): Exceptional - The Manager was brilliant! The glamping tent was so clean and comfortable! Thanks for having us. Noisy person up all night next to us. That can't be helped at times unfortunately.
- Karen (8/5): Very good -
- Tania (9/5): Superb -
- Bradley (8/5): Very good - Value and facility was great Had an issue with tv and contacted them with no reply. Fixed the issue myself.
- Kbowie77 (10/5): Fantastic get away to relax - The host Jackie was wonderful and went above and beyond to help when we had a issue with 2 flat tyres The couple across from us fighting till midnight and slamming car doors
- Luke (8/5): Very good -
- Don (7/5): Good - Fly screens on the windows would have been desirable as I wasn't comfortable opening windows over the bed as sizable black spiders were living on windows.
- Fiona (8/5): Very good -
- James (8/5): Very good - Stayed in Couples Shepherd Cabin. Cabin was really comfy, with reverse cycle air-conditioning. Bed was as comfy - had a good night's sleep.
