• Takumi (10/5): - オーナー夫妻の人柄がとても温かく、観光地へのトゥクトゥクチャーターも安心して任せることができます。朝食もフルーツ満載で素晴らしかったです。建物や外扉に看板がない？ようで最初は場所が合っているのか不安になりましたが、GoogleやBookingcomのマップが指す家で間違いないので、安心して入ってください。

• Aidan (10/5): - Amazing homestay, the family are really nice and welcoming. We had some issues with our suitcase with the airline and they were able to help us. The room is really lovely and comfortable. The home cooked breakfast was really tasty and the host always offered us Sri Lankan tea which was really lovely. I would recommend this stay to anyone. Nothing
• Debbie (10/5): Perfect Stay - Hosts were so kind and accommodating we couldn’t ask for anymore. Breakfast was lovely and the room was very clean. Well located to central Dambulla. Arranged a tuk tuk to visit Sigiriya and we walked to the cave temple about 1.3 miles away. A beautiful stay in a beautiful home

• Valeria (4/5): - Расположение в центре города 1. Хозяин постоянно пытался продать тур/тук-тук 2. Комната располагалась в основном доме. Вход в номер через гостиную, где постоянно находятся хозяева. И расположение телевизора в зале было у стены номера. Так что вечерние просмотры телевизора были более чем слышны.

Little bit hard to communicate in English but this wasn't a problem. Would have been easier to find if there was a sign on the gate.

• Julienne Megan (9/5): - I had a great stay, the owners are soo welcoming and nice and prepared an amazing breakfast. The room was exactly like shown in the pictures, only disadvantage is that there is nearly no daylight in the room. But the lovely terrace makes up for it. :)
• Jelena (10/5): - Das Gastgeber-Pärchen war äusserst zuvorkommen und hat sich rundum nach unserem Wohlergehen erkundigt, Ausflüge bzw. Fahrer organisiert, uns Sri Lanka authentisch nähergebracht - unsere Tage in Dambulla zu einem Träumchen gemacht. Wir haben den Aufenthalt daher auch noch um eine Nacht verlängert, was kein Problem gewesen ist. Wir haben es sehr genossen und würden das Green View Homestay zu jeder Zeit weiterempfehlen! Kann nichts erwähnen!
• Guest (10/5): - Our favourite home stay in Sri Lanka so far. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming - with lots of cups of Sri Lankan tea and great recommendations on exploring Dambulla. They even took us to a spa near Sigiriya (also recommended) in their own time. The breakfast was delicious and filling. The homestay is located in a great part of Dambulla - close to the city but tucked away in a quiet spot. Look no further!

• Konstantinos (10/5): Exceptional - Was I adopted by a family in Sri Lanka for two days? It sure felt like it! Possibly the best hospitality I have ever experienced. The house was beautiful, the room spotless, and the breakfasts absolutely amazing. Wishing all the best to Sunil and his wife — I will never forget this stay!
• Marina (10/5): Value for money! 100% recommended - Clean and well kept, very comfortable bed, AC and fan:) plus a nice hot shower! The hosts were absolutely amazing! They gave us the best breakfast and always willing to help renting scooters, Tuk tuk or finding your way around. All was perfect
• Philip (10/5): Lovely homestay. Charming hosts. Comfortable - Probably the best homestay we had in Sri Lanka. It's not like staying in an international hotel, but more like staying with the parents of a good friend. The hosts are a really lovely and very friendly couple - so sweet and welcoming. On arrival they gave us tea whilst we checked in, and if we were hanging around the homestay (between visits to local sights), they would often come to offer a little something - tea, coffee etc. One time, we sat outside with a beer and the host brought us a plate of freshly roasted peanuts. For our day trips to Anuradhapura and Polonnaruwa they prepared sandwiches and a few bananas. Nothing was too much trouble - they were wonderful hosts! Breakfast was delicious and always huge - sets you up for the day exploring the cultural triangle! Sri Lankan food, though - not western. We loved it, though. On our last day the lady made string hoppers, dal, a delicious fish curry, roti, coconut sambal and fresh fruit. A feast! And better than anything we could buy in a restaurant. The rooms are basic, but perfectly comfortable. There is A/C and a fan and mosquito nets, and hot water showers in the en suite bathroom - so all the essentials! No fridge in the room, though. The hosts have a brand new high quality water purifier that you can use to get fresh drinking water. The hosts have a good relationship with two local tuk tuk drivers, who they trust and recommend. On our first morning to visit the cave temples they called us one of them - Mr Bandara who was very reasonably priced and super helpful. We booked him the next day for a tour of Anuradhapura and again for Polonnaruwa - he gave an excellent price and a fantastic tour with the odd bit of local knowledge (buying fresh fruits on the way home for us to try) without being overbearing, talking too much, or rushing us around. Would wholeheartedly recommend him! Nothing really! The only thing I could think of that could possibly have made an improvement would be to have a mini fridge in the room - but that is hardly an essential. In every other way, we loved this place!

• Deepananda (9/5): Superb - The location was fairly good. It was situated in a relatively quiet area, which made for a peaceful atmosphere. It wasn’t too far from main road, so it was still convenient for getting around. The surroundings were pleasant enough, but nothing particularly special stood out. While my breakfast experience was wonderful, there were a few small areas where the overall experience could have been improved. The location itself was fantastic, but the shower could have been better. It would have been nice if the water pressure were a bit stronger, as it felt slightly inconsistent at times. Additionally, the temperature control could have been more responsive, as it took a little longer than expected to reach the ideal setting. However, these are minor issues in what was otherwise a lovely stay, and they didn’t take away from the overall enjoyment of the visit. With just a few tweaks to the shower, it would have been a flawless experience from start to finish!
• Dan (9/5): lovely local homestay - The owners are a lovely elderly couple who made the best breakfast. The fruit platter included mangoes from their own tree! slightly out of the way and wasn't the cleanest
