MJinOaxaca (10/5): Both sides of Siracusa - Located in an area about 20 minutes from the tourist area, I enjoyed staying where the restaurants, stores, etc. catered to locals. The staff asked how I was doing a couple of times during my stay. A free washing machine took the prize for best amenity. If you want to see another side of Siracusa, this is the place to base yourself.

Mbe06 (9/5): - Appartement très confortable et propre, instructions claires pour self check-in, Maria très rapide à répondre. Cuisine bien équipée, belle salle de bain. Emplacement à 25mn à pied d'Ortigia, c'est facile de se garer gratuitement dans la rue. La fenêtre de la chambre qui ne peut pas être occultée. Les tabourets un peu bas.
Clare (10/5): - A really lovely apartment - clean, spacious and very quiet. I especially appreciated the access to the seating area and roof terrace, and the little thoughtful touches like mosquito-repelling tools, plus oil and salt in the kitchen. The decor was beautiful too, with colourful ceilings and matching wall art that gave the place a lot of character. Great value for money, and I’d happily recommend it and stay again. The sofa bed is not comfy to sit on or sleep on.
Nicholas (8/5): A good place to stay in the city - The apartment is in a good location with plenty of parking and is walkable to Ortygia, which is the best part of the city. The apartment itself is clean and modern and the amenities were very good (olive oil was available for cooking and nice touches like that) and Maria made sure that we were happy with everything. The living room doesn't get a lot of natural light and the set up with the second bedroom directly off the main bedroom (i.e. it's necessary to walk through the main bedroom from the second bedroom to get to the living room) might not work for some people. It could also be a little noisy at night.
François (10/5): Super expérience : top ! - Appartement très grand, très bien agencé et décoré, très propre, dans un quartier calme à 20 minutes à pied d'Ortigia (facile de s'y stationner). L'accueil physique avec le sourire par Maria a été très appréciable. Lave linge commun aux différents logements en libre accès. Roof top commun également. Bref, superbe expérience, je recommande vivement ! Pas grand chose ! Allez, pour chipoter : un frigo plus grand et quelques couverts en plus seraient bienvenus, mais c'est vraiment histoire de trouver quelque chose à redire...

JOSUNE (9/5): A LITTLE BIT FAR FROM ORTIGIA. - The apartment was very big. We could use the whashing machine. We could cook and the kitchen was very nice. Easy lo park nearby. It is far from Ortigia if you are walking, but if you go by car, you can not enter Ortigia, so... At the beginning it was confusing since the number of the main door in the street is different to the one shown in Booking, and we did not see the sign. The sign should be bigger.

Luca (10/5): A due passi dal teatro - Posizione ottima per raggiungere il teatro greco o il santuario della madonna delle lacrime. Stanza grande con tutto quello che serve, incluso due bottiglietta di acqua fresche (grazie!). Letto e cuscini comodi, Bagno piccolino ma funzionale. Consigli degli ospiti per pranzo, cena, etc stanza molto buia. Vabbe', la nostra stanza era un piano terra con luce proveniente solo dalle finestrelle della porta di ingresso (che dava sul cortile comune) oppure da una finestrella alta sulla parete opposta. Non e' che si potesse fare molto altro per renderla piu' luminosa.

Yee (10/5): 5 star accommodation - The apartment is very clean and very well equipped (basically you have everything you need - laundry, coffee machine, oven, cooking utensils etc.) The host is very kind and responsive. Is exactly what you see in the photos and description provided by the host. Re location, safe and nice neighborhood. The Archelogical site is worth visiting and Basilica Santuario Madonna delle Lacrime is just next to the apartment. It is a 20-minute slow walk to Ortigia and you got supermarket and a interbus/ local bus station within 5 min walk. Note: Transportation to/from Catania is actually very convenient. Check: "Syracuse Via Von Platen Augosto", there is a interbus stop running every 30 minutes. Very good location actually. 5 star!! No, is perfect!

A bit of a walk to the old town but there is a pizzeria and a cafe nearby and also a supermarket. Not exactly cheap but still decenzt value for money.
