Guest Reviews
- Sally (10/5): - Outstanding. The little touches added by host really accentuated the "home away from home" feel.
By one of the best properties in this area that I have stayed at. Superb.

- Victoria (8/5): Amazing, would stay here again. - The coffee maker, microwave, hot plate, ingredients provided were useful to make a quick savoury breakfast. The toiletries and amenities provided were good, and the area was really clean. But what REALLYYYY was even more amazing was the help offered by the host (I think he is, anyway - the barber next door). We were in quite a pickle trying to get our (slightly wider than usual) car into/out of the driveway, and it proved VERY difficult, but after much turning, reversing, heaving and sighing, he came out of the barbershop and offered to help. And like an expert (since car driver just got her licence), he manoeuvred the car smoothly out of the driveway and probably saved us quite a bit of money since we were very close to removing the side mirror just to get out! He was such a great help, and I would absolutely book this place again if needed. The only thing I was quite concerned about were the spiral stairs since I thought a fall on them would be very dangerous but all was well and nothing happened. Thank you again to the host at the AirPad! God bless you! The bed was not firm enough to feel supported.
- Francesca (10/5): - Well priced, super easy entry instructions. Very clean, comfy, with blackout curtains.
Self entry with no late restrictions. Felt very safe as a solo female travelled.
- loz (10/5): - Lovely apartment very cosy. Good communication and good location. Would definitely use again.
- Ben (10/5): Owner went above and beyond for us. I can’t thank and recommend the owner and property more! - Such a lovely little place to stay. Was clean, had everything you needed and couldn’t fault anything Everything was perfect
- Danielle (10/5): Fantastic. David as a host is amazing and the AirPad is exceptional. - Very modern, had everything we needed for a one night stay.
- Alberto (9/5): -
- Lorraine (10/5): Perfect little gem in a perfect setting - The Airpad is a wonderful little hideaway in a beautiful village Kegworth.
Fully equipped with ninja oven and air fryer washer and dryer as well as a cupboard containing teas coffee and even milk in the fridge. Perfect stopover.
Bed was extremely comfortable and we slept so well.
We loved the village and there is a brilliant pub The Red Lion just around the corner with real ale and live music on Saturday nights.
This is a perfect stopover for East Midlands airport 6 minutes away with parking across the road.
The host was excellent and all communication made it very easy to check in and check out.
We loved it and will definitely be staying again. Nothing
- Andrea (8/5): Struttura molto piacere, l’host è molto cortese gentile disponibile. Ho avuto un piccolo problema ed è stato risolto imm - Molto pulita e molto fornita di ogni necessità e oltre. Ogni spazio è stato usato nel miglior modo possibile.
- Saima (10/5): Will be back again - Very comfortable and peaceful Enjoyed stay it was clean and very comfortable
- Denis (8/5): -
- Alexandra (8/5): Lovely space great location with informative and pleasant hosts, convenient good coffee - Great location, lovely hosts via messenger, easy to find and park on site. Goodies left for eats and drinks which is a lovely touch. Great coffee Nespresso maker. An extra heater was very much appreciated. The shower isn't awesome low pressure and not hot enough for me, the room was cold at night and not to forget this is by a main road though the road is really quiet after 10pm. I was there in January so expected some cold.
- Derren (8/5): -
- Leslie (9/5): Great stay, lovely property and great hosts - The property was lovely and clean and easy to get to. It would have been great for a couple but as we stayed as 2 colleague's (males) the bed was a little bit on the small side for us both. This is no reflection to the property and comfort that the hosts have made, just that I need to look more closely when booking for our work stay overs that the bed is bigger :)
- Ian (2/5): Spend 45min trying to find parking, parked 1.5miles away. Bed had stains and smelt - not recomended - Self checkin - code access and instruction ok Not alot - maybe its location
- Billyjo (10/5): A little gem, everything which was needed to make the stay extra special - It was everything which was required and more. Thank you for making our stay so special with the little added touches. Milk, juice and butter in the fridge. A variety of teas and coffee, even a coffee pod. The added wine and chocolates with biscuits was a treat x this is a little gem and we will definitely be coming again.
- Jordan (10/5): The cutest little home stay away from home - They provided you with absolutely everything you could think of. Like being at home, away from home. The bed was unbelievably comfy, had the best nights sleep. The hosts were very helpful and made sure our stay was okay Parking was a little tight but we made it work
- Maxwell (9/5): - Location was excellent
- Anne (4/5): Adequate but wouldn't book again. - Had advertised parking, but it was almost impossible to use it as directly off a main road and needed someone else to hold the gate open. Bed felt damp. WiFi didn't work. Was cold on arrival.
- Richard (9/5): Very enjoyable. Would recommend - Very nice location. The Indian and a local pub were a minutes walk away Price. Convenience and a nice place to go on New Year’s Eve with your wife
- Clarencelouise1 (10/5): -
- Steve (9/5): Fantastic value and really lovely pad. - Exceptional value for money and was in a convenient location for us (we were visiting people in Loughborough). Plus heaps of free parking around. Loads of extras in the property to make your stay comfortable, everything we could have wanted was here. Nothing.
- Stephen (8/5): Served its purpose. Suitable for a one night stay. - Good attention to detail. Very responsive host. Lots of homely touches. Noisy both road and airplanes. Dangerous spiral staircase at night. Unsure who had access to the utility.
- Christie (9/5): - Host was super helpful, contacting us prior to and during our stay for anything we needed.
Room was easy to access and with good amenities. It was a little cold and I wasn't sure how to turn the heating up!
- Stefano (9/5): Ottima posizione vicino all'aeroporto, dotato di ogni comfort - Facilmente raggiungibile dall'aeroporto tramite bus Skylink.
- Louise (10/5): -
- Emer (9/5): Perfect for short stopover - Perfect for a short stopover. Couldn't connect to the wifi using password provided.
- Cone (10/5): Lovely little stay near EMA - Lovely clean room, comfortable bed, hot shower , close to airport
- Richard (8/5): Perfect for the airport will use again - Great location
- Jayne (8/5): - Parking available close by.
- Richard (10/5): - Comfortable bed all amenities you need Toilet, bit tight space, flushing system needs attention
- Angela (10/5): Recharged After My Mini Break - David the host was so friendly, helpful and made sure that everything was okay for me during my stay. I had a lovely mini break for myself and the choice of television apps was fantastic so I just relaxed and watched more prigramnes than I have in months 😊. The apartment had everything a person could need for their stay. I'm fully recharged now after my lovely break but will be back. Thank you David for everything. 10/10 from me. I have no complaints whatsoever.
- Joy (10/5): Highly recommend ; it’s great accommodation - Great location with excellent facilities plus welcome extras like milk , good coffee and biscuits ! Nothing
- Aura (9/5): Great and comfortable stay! - It had everything I needed and more. Lots of kitchen appliances that I could use to make a quick meal. Had a good hot shower. Had to look for parking in a unfamiliar area but the host was really helpful to show me where to go. The flat was little noisy at night but ear plugs are offered!
- Sarah (10/5): The host was fabulous. He answered all our queries promptly. The room had everything we needed. More importantly it was - I loved everything about it Nothing
- Victor (5/5): Good and bad points but price point was right - Location, cost The toilet being outside of the bedroom.
No blind on landing window.
Bedroom window opening directly to flat roof of neighbouring shop who used said roof so didn’t feel could leave window open.
Proximity to chip shop allowed for unwanted smells.
Didn’t know to bring robe to go to toilet.
Staircase didn’t feel safe nor wide enough to navigate with luggage.
Bed too small for us but that is preference.
- Ryan (10/5): - Enjoyed the stay as it was a cosy place for me and the mrs Nothing
- Jan (10/5): - Great location, great value for the money.
good added extras to make the stay comfortable, everything you need on arrival, milk teabags drinks in fridge and nibbles
Comfy bed, clean and modern accommodation
Easy lockbox entry.
Parking on the roads nearby
Would highly recommend All perfect
- susan (10/5): Apart from the door the flat was perfect for my needs and well stocked - It was very comfortable and in a perfect position for my needs. I struggled to open the downstairs door from the inside.
- Kelly (10/5): Hosts who have thought about all the little things ! Perfect - We loved all the little extras , shower gel , cookies and milk in the fridge plus tea and coffee. Room spotless and we enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings
A perfect wee place , def would highly recommend

- Simon (10/5): Great property for a work trip - Very clean and well equipped unit. Nice touches from the owner including a very welcome beer in the fridge on a hot day.
- Dean (10/5): Great little place to stay - Great communication with the host and little details to use in the Airpad made the stay that little bit more welcoming. Treats and drinks as well as what you would usually expect. Great little place for an overnight stay.. Parking wasn't ideal.
- Tony (9/5): Superb - Great place Parking was awkward
- Linzi (10/5): Excellent Stay - ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5
We had a wonderful stay at this apartment! It was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect—close to shops, restaurants, and public transport, but still quiet and peaceful. The host was incredibly friendly and responsive, making check-in and check-out smooth and stress-free. The apartment was well-equipped with everything we needed, and the small personal touches made it feel like home. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!
- Owen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anne-marie (10/5): A great apartment, handy for a comfortable couples stopover or longer stay - A fab little apartment with everything expected and more, perfect for a short or even a longer stay. Fitment snd lines and towels etc all tip top quality
- Stacey (10/5): Exceptional - Everything you need in a quirky little place
- Anita (9/5): I chose the AirPad for its location to EMA. - The little touches were appreciated, coffee/tea making facilities including milk & cookies, there was water and chocolates too.
The location is great for an early start for East Midlands Airport.
There is free road side parking.
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely and clean. Very comfortable bed.So handy for the airport. Can get a bus to the airport.
- Darren (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karen (10/5): Exceptional - Great little place. Very comfy bed had everything we needed. Perfect for East Midlands Airport. Would definitely recommend
- Nick (9/5): Superb - It was a really lovely space, small but had everything and more than we needed, great for a short stay before flying. The host had put extra effort into detail and home comforts. Would stay again if traveling from EMA. Road noisy and overhead planes, other than that it would have been a 10/10
- Gillian (5/5): Passable - Good facilities for cooking and laundry. Shower. The stairs. I have limited mobility. It wasn't clear from the description when I booked that it was upstairs, but I believe the host is updating that
- Tim (10/5): Exceptional - Great communications from owner Nothing
- Lukas (10/5): Exceptional - Lovely place to stay. Easy self check in. The place was clean and it had everything i needed to make myself a meal. The bed was so comfy that i didn't want to leave. I got lucky to meet the owner David in person. He is a super friendly and polite guy. Thanks again. Highly recommend. Would definitely book again in the future
- Robert (10/5): Lovely place to stay with lots of nice little touches, would highly recommend - Fantastic location, was visiting for the touring cars at Donington so only a 5 min drive away. My son is also into planes and trains so we visited the local airport and train station again only a few mins away so it was perfect. Had everything we required and more. Easy to locate, easy to access, plenty of parking nearby and the local bakery was amazing. Nothing
- Nick (10/5): Just as described, great host! - The property was clean and just as described. The beers and nibbles left as a greeting were appreciated. The bed is super comfy and the wifi is great, would recommend.
- Megan (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful stay at the Airpad. Really cute, very comfy and great communication with David. Thank you!
- Stewart (9/5): Superb -
- Malcolm (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rachel (8/5): Ok for a one night stay. - Good facilities, value for money, comfort and cleanliness. Approach to property and scruffy yard area.
- Stuart (10/5): Great value and location - It was exactly what I booked, compact but that was all I needed. The WiFi was out of this world Nothing major but I could not get the tv onto normal tv. It was on Samsung tv+, hover I had everything and more on my iPad and with the brilliant WiFi I just got on with it.
- Amanda (8/5): Very good - Very accommodating in spite of our last minute booking (45 minutes notice!). Super friendly host. Very cosy and comfortable. We only had one bowl so making breakfast for two was a little tricky.
- Matt (9/5): Simply the best - The complimentary drinks, clean, good location, easy instructions to gain access. Cosy bed. Good use of space. Quiet and private location. The Bluetooth speaker was a nice touch and we played relaxing music to fall asleep. We did run out of loo roll and weren't sure where to find another roll. And sometimes the fridge started making a bit of a noise. But we overall enjoyed our stay and would definalty like to stay again.
- Rebecca (10/5): Exceptional - My second stay here and my go to when I am in the area for work. A little home from home. Has all the facilities I need and the bed is super comfy. Will definitely be back!
- Steve (8/5): Very good - Loved the bed it was so comfy I nearly didn't get up for work.
Really cosy space and will definitely book again
- Derren (10/5): Exceptional -
- Michael (8/5): Very good - It was clean, nicely decorated and a good use of space. Comfy bed and blackout curtains for those using it for nightshift work.
The property is well equipped to cook your own meals with various cooking appliances. It’s a bit tedious going up the spiral staircase with a suitcase and the light doesn’t come on until halfway down in the dark.
- Nick (8/5): Very good -
- Sarah (10/5): A perfect stay! - Detailed instructions made it really easy to know where I was going and how to access the room. The bed was super comfortable, was easy to control the temperature of the room with a hive thermostat and loved the fact there was a fridge in my room with good kitchen facilities. I’d 100% stay here again. Thanks David for being a good host :)
- Lee (10/5): Ideal , great place to stay - great location , easy parking close by , great communication , perfect for what we wanted Everything perfect
- Norbert (10/5): Comfortable - Small but comfortable and well equiped.
- Megan (10/5): The place has everything you need - Very modern, location is great
- Řípák (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing place near to the Airport. Also nice Village 👌
- Lucinda (8/5): Very good - Lovely little place, perfect for early flights from the airport! Really good facilities and felt very comfortable.
- Nicola (10/5): Exceptional - David, the host, was very hospitable. The bed was so comfy there was milk tea, even bread shampoo, ecen a brand new toothbrush! I didn't need to get anything Nothing not to like
- Steve (8/5): Very good -
- Summer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Snc (8/5): Very good -
- David (8/5): Very good -
- Darran (10/5): Fantastic Host & Comfortable Stay - What a great find this was; location was perfect for where I needed to be. The apartment was equipped with everything I needed. The host was responsive and above all a really nice bloke! He owns the barbers below the apartment so I booked in for a trim. 5* for that too! Thanks for a great stay.
- Robbie (10/5): Perfect little room to stay in Kegworth with ample facilities. - Excellent room, well equipped and great value for money. I did accidentally set off the smoke alarm having a shower but I forgot to turn on the extractor fan, user error. Loved the room, it’s my new go to for commuting with work. 5 stars.
- Jane (8/5): Very good - Cosy comfortable room and comfortable bed. Very local to where I was due to work. I also enjoyed the sweet treats and liked that there was a fridge. I liked it very much, for me it would have been improved if there was a bedside table and light rather than a chair.
- Rob (10/5): Exceptional - Airpad was warm , comfortable , clean and well provided . Entry was by keypad which was very convenient as I wasn't certain of my arrival time . The host was in contact by email to make sure I had all the information I needed and that everything was good. Tea , coffee , milk and some welcome treats were also provided - a nice touch . All in all a great stay , and somewhere I would highly recommend, and would definitely stay again if in the area . Thank you . There was nothing to dislike .
- Ellie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ellerbeck (8/5): The stay was adequate for a one night - Bed was very comfortable Parking was difficult
Traffic noise very loud combined with fridge noise
- Mick (4/5): very cold, so unpleasant as we approach winter- my advice to the owner is make sure heating is on. - NA Heating in the room kicked on at check in time 3pm- and didn't warm up until 5 hours later, so a poor overall first experience..
- David (10/5): ABSOLUTELY GREAT PAD! - 10/10 for me! I don't understand why you'd get a hotel room when you can have the comfort of this self contained property.
David clearly has good tastes and standards, all modern appliances ( SMART TV, quality Internet connection, coffee machine, lighting, bedside USB charging and more), modern kitchen facilties, shower, fridge freezer. The bed was very comfy as well.
David helped out with parking advice and was, on the whole, a great host. He owns the barber shop next door and even booked me for a cut along with a coffee he brought for me, the combined price along with the haircut was still cheaper than other local hotels. Kegworth is also a very nice, safe area.
Would highly recommend! Faultless
- Nobbybobby21 (10/5): Nice little hideaway - It's a nice little room, clean and the bed was really comfortable, and the chip shop next door best chips I've ever had will definitely be coming back I liked everything nothing was wrong at all
- Mike (5/5): more negatives than positives - secure car parking didn't like the idea of having to leave the bedroom to use the toilet. steps to navigate in the dark straight out side the bedroom door.
on entering the property there are numerous doors, none had a sign on indicating what door to use.
church bells ringing from 7.00pm until 9 pm.
the doors / gates took ages to sort out especially in the dark.
- Neeraj (4/5): Disappointing - Good bits - The place was clean and the kitchenette was well equipped. The main entrance doesn't look inviting as it leads to a run down courtyard with some old stuff and seems to be the back of a shop. The parking availability is based on your luck. The steep winding metal staircase is a bit of a safety hazard if you are carrying luggage and both hands are occupied. Mattress uncomfortable and at night/next morning it was cold and the heating never kicked in.
- Tim (10/5): Exceptional -
