Surrounded by lots of great shops and eateries around the hotel, many different cuisines to offer, leaving you spoilt for choice. There are also souvenier shops in the next block. Hotel is not far from the airport. It takes only 20 minutes to get there, so there is no need to rush to depart early. Their online booking system for room service was not functioning properly. Had sent in a few orders to be delivered to different parts of the hotel where I was via the online system but the orders never came.

Restaurant closes fairly early so no room service late at night. For this size and brand hotel I would expect 24 hours room service. Also no other restaurants in the area for a late dinner.

- Ian (9/5): 3 day break in Laos - Although the official checkin time is 1500, we arrived after a long overnight travel, tired and dusty, at 1100am. We requested an early checkin, however our room wasnt ready, but the reception allowed us an early checkin to an higher grade ( slightly more costly) at 1100am, which waa much appreciated. Nothing to dislike. Staff and amenities were excellent and helpful.

I feel a little bit bad from the receptionist who ignore me. No say anything to make me feel better while I am in front of the counter alone. But it doesn't matter. Just only Bell Boy who greeting and informed me to waiting a few minutes. He served us for the welcome drink and cookie. But I would say thank you the receptionist to offer the early checking in instead of 3 pm.

Sehr gepflegte Zimmer, sehr geräumige Zimmer, Das Zimmer in Etage 8 Zimmer war zu laut, es war die ganze Zeit Tag und Nacht das Filtergeräusch des DachPools zu hören. Ich habe Kopfschmerzen davon bekommen, die erste Nacht war unangenehm ich konnte nicht schlafen aufgrund der Geräusche, die Brummgeräusche sind unerträglich als wenn ein Jet neben dem Zimmer stehen würde. Ein Zimmer Wechsel war möglich, die Dame am Empfang wollte mich bis 15 Uhr in diesem Geräusch belasteten Zimmer belassen. Das war äußert unfreundlich, da ich bereits massive Kopfschmerzen durch die massive Geräuschbelastung des Zimmers hatte. Erst auf Nachdruck und mit Hilfe einer Übersetzerin war es möglich einen sofortigen Wechsel Zimmers in einen ruhigeren Teil des Hotels vorzunehmen. Das Zimmer war sehr ruhig und es war erholsam.
- ronit (9/5): צוות מעולה!!!! מלון סביר מאוד - מלון במיקום טוב, מספר דקות הליכה למדונה, לשוק הלילה. החדר בסדר, אבל אין שטחים ציבוריים מרשימים ( בריכה קטנטונת על הגג) לובי סביר לא מפואר כמלון חמישה כוכבים אין ספא ( יש ברחוב או בבתי מלון אחרים) . הצוות מעולה ממש!!! לדוגמא מנהלת הקבלה Maimani Bounluetai דאגה לנו לנהג תוקתוק ליום רשמה בעצה אחת איתנו נקודות שנרצה לבקר סייעה במחיר ואף צילמה את המספר שלו לוודא שלא יאונה לנו רע- מעל ומעבר למצופה! ארוחת בוקר סבירה ( במונחים מערביים) אין מבחר סלטים טריים או גבינות ….. זרם חלש במקלחת, הקפה לא חם מספיק

- A (8/5): Agréable emplacement pour un court séjour à Vientiane - Emplacement, chambre, petit-déjeuner, l'hôtel possède de belles bases pour évoluer convenablement dans les mois et années à venir. Une piscine modeste, fraiche, elle aurait méritée une autre orientation

- Hannah (10/5): Perfect in all ways. Breakfast buffet is 11/10 - I stayed for the breakfast buffet! Did not disappoint. Staff were also friendly. Room was big and spacious. Nothing. Everything was perfect

- Karthi (8/5): Modern hotel in a central location. - Overall the hotel is new and modern, with good facilities, although they have a pool & a bar, there is no one to manage the bar, most of the staff are friendly, however I would suggest that some of the reception staff be more courteous & friendly to guest on check in & don't see it as a transaction only. Reception staff could certainly be friendly on check in.

- Felix (10/5): Alles top - Hier war wirklich alles top. Sehr freundliches Personal, hoch qualitative Ausstattung, sehr gemütliches Bett, schöner Balkon. Und alles sehr gemütlich. Das Frühstück war auch gut. Da muss selbst ich als penibler deutscher lange nachdenken. Die türe von der Dusche hat so laut gequietscht, dass man angst hatte sie bricht aus dem Scharnier. Mehr ist mir nicht aufgefallen 🙈

- Nader (10/5): Great stay in downtown Vientiane - We only had 24 hours in Vientiane and our stay at the Doubletree was good in all respects. The hotel is central and next to shops, restaurants, etc. Staff, rooms, breakfast and general hotel ambience were all great. Price was a little too high, for rooms, transfers, etc.

- Dominic (10/5): 9/10 - Excellent customer service from Kira at front of desk and the team in the executive lounge. Breakfast was enjoyable, alongside live music in the evenings. Room provided lacked a river view.
- Erwin (9/5): Affordable 5-star stay. Will go there again. - As expected of 5-star hotel. Clean, felt luxurious, courteous staff. We even got WhatsApp messages to ask how we're doing. I like that the gym is 24 hours. Hilton Honors programme forced me to become a member to access the Wifi. It's not the hotel's fault but the Hilton chain's policies...
