Guest Reviews
- rose (9/5): A beautiful hideaway with lovely views and close to lots of interesting places. - The barn conversion was beautiful and tastefully decorated. It was conveniently situated very quiet but close to lots of interesting places . Also there was a pub come restaurant a minute walk away. There was nothing to dislike .
- Julia (9/5): A lovely short break. - A beautiful, cosy property with all the amenities needed for a very pleasant stay.
Near to very good pub if you preferred not to cook. The property was very cold on arrival. Floor coverings would have mitigated this or ideally the heating could have been turned on prior to arrival.
- Curtis (10/5): - Wonderful cosy barn.
Beautiful location
Perfect
- Flukies (10/5): Bullamoor Barns - Beautiful property, extremely comfortable, and spotlessly clean.
Some thoughtful touches were most welcome.
The location is tranquil, but within a stone's throw of anything you need in Northallerton.
Location definitely requires a car. Nothing. It was a perfect property for my needs.
- Paul (8/5): Lovely little barn conversion - Great location - 1 mile or so outside Northallerton. Nothing not to like. Perhaps needs another chair in the lounge. Nicely kitted out with all the facilities you would expect
- Hills (10/5): Great location for exploring Yorkshire. Rachel was very helpful and friendly. - Clean, spacious and very comfortable. The bed was brilliant and the shower was great. Very dog friendly too. Nothing
- Nathan (9/5): -
- Lee (10/5): Perfect stay - Great place, stayed for work and it was perfect. Nothing.
- Jane (10/5): Beautiful place to stay - Really well done, in a wonderful area and superb barn conversion. Ideal for the weekend. Friendly hosts, including Tilly the dog and the local sheep! Thanks will be back again. Nothing
- CHRISTINA (8/5): Little gem in quiet location, with popular country pub opposite -
- Collette (10/5): Peaceful and well positioned - Everything we needed. Very cosy and owners were so friendly. We loved our stay. Needed some high dusting lots of cobwebs could be seen from the bedroom but I appreciate it’s difficult to get up there. Didn’t spoil our stay.
- Pauline (8/5): -
- Suzanne (10/5): Exceptional rural location with outstanding views. - Beautiful rural location with exceptional views and easy access to surrounding towns and villages. Pub just a minutes walk away.
- Sophie (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful property, comfy bed, everything you need for a break away from home. Great location near Northallerton and Thirsk. Pub just accross the road with very friendly staff and lovely food. Just perfect 😍
- Scott (10/5): Beautiful stay - Lovely farm location for us, and the dog, to enjoy 🐶
Was lucky enough to time it during this years lovely sunny weather spell and also post lambing season. This made for a lovely morning coffee.
In great proximity to North York Moors and also Yorkshire Dales if you’re explorers.
The owners seems to have paid close attention to every detail apart from the small window (view over farm) upstairs which you directly look out of from the bed. When the sun rises at 5am, it would have been nice to black this window out like the other windows upstairs. Only if we was being picky.
Other than that - 5***** stay and would 100% stay again N/A - all was lovely
- Edwards (8/5): A very comfortable retreat. - Ideal location for visiting relatives in Northallerton, and dining at the Fox & Hounds.
- Ian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Paul (10/5): Fabulous ! - Fantastic location & beautiful barn accommodation
- Angela (10/5): Thankyou - location near to places of interest
exceptional views and quiet environment n/a
- Rachel (10/5): Exceptional - The location was fab! Such a gorgeous property, so comfortable, clean and cosy! we arrived late, when we got there is was so lovely and warm, and outside lights on for us. They’d thought of everything to make it a super comfortable stay! Our toddler loved it too. We will definitely be back! Nothing not to like!
- Mcjamie (10/5): Fantastic as usual - The Barn has been wonderful every time we've stayed there. It's well-equipped, super comfortable, close to family and very difficult to leave (for us and dog). And there were puppies next door. :)
- Sue (9/5): Superb -
- Jo (10/5): Great find for a relaxing few days away - Loved staying at this accommodation. Everything was so clean and well thought out with such amazing views
- Karen (10/5): Great accommodation lovely rural setting. - Lovely accommodation, beautiful scenery. Close to Northallerton and surrounding areas. Excellent hosts. We will stay again when visiting family. Nothing
- Michaela (10/5): Peaceful setting, private, perfect hosts, dog friendly and clean just nothing to fault - Location perfect, peaceful, clean, just nothing to fault N/A
- Anthony (8/5): Very good -
- Hannah (10/5): A great holiday home in a great location run by great hosts. - The location was perfect for us to visit Northallerton and it’s surrounding area. The place was spotless and the kitchen had everything an more that you would need. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom and shower was great. The bi fold doors looking out onto the courtyard and country side was lovely and in a summer I can imagine will be a great place to sit at the beginning and end of the day with a nice glass of wine. The hosts were lovely and friendly and you could really tell they really cared in making sure your stay was as pleasurable as possible. Nothing it was all perfect.
- Christian (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mcjamie (10/5): We can't stay anywhere else now when we visit family - This is possibly the nicest place we've ever stayed as a couple (with our dog). Everything was spotless and the barn smelled amazing--a weird thing to comment on, but it really made an impression. The space is big and open and we loved the mezzanine sleeping area. The bed was super comfy, everything actually worked in the bathroom (and the shower didn't leak!) and the kitchen was well-equipped. Underfloor heating was a nice touch and the gated area in front was great for the dog.
- Hazel (9/5): Superb -
- Ian (10/5): Hidden gem - Clean fresh modern and nice touches by the owner
This will be our new stay point when visiting family Nothing to say
- Dean (8/5): Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely property. We will be visiting Northallerton over the coming years so we may - Lovely self contained property in a great location Nothing
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb - Cosy, very comfortable barn, converted to an exceptionally high standard and is very well equipped. Located just outside North Allerton. Local pub 5 minutes walk away. Nothing
- Matthew (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sue (10/5): Will be back, great choice. -
- Sandy (10/5): Exceptional - Beautifully converted farm building, the level of the conversion really is top notch.
Everything was supplied for a great stay, the facilities were excellent.
Lovely location, outdoor seating area for enjoying the summer evenings. The internet connection would occasionally drop out, but in such a rural setting this is not unexpected or a big deal.
The pub across the road isn't open on Monday or Tuesday so don't count on that for food at the start of the week (again, not a big deal, Northallerton is a ten minute drive away and the cooking facilities in the barn are great).
- Maureen (10/5): Excellent facilities and good location. - Very good location for us. Location of pub a few yards away served excellent food. Lovely bed and linen. Barn conversion was of high standard.
Nice patio area with open views. A fixed mirror by the dressing table, the round freestanding one could easily slip.
If some guests cook their own food, a casserole dish with a lid would be a useful addition to kitchen equipment.
- Sara (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and they have thought of every thing The only thing what we thought was missing was a dog poo bin
- Claire (10/5): Exceptional place to stay. - The property is furnished to a high standard & the owners have thought of just everything you may need for your stay there. Even down to a basket and bowls for the dogs.
It was exceptionally clean. The bed very comfortable.
The location of this property is so peaceful & relaxing.
It’s not overlooked by anyone & looks over fields. The owners are really helpful, and were there if you did need anything… not that we did as everything was perfect.
The sunset was beautiful in the evening. We sat and watched it from the patio.
We stayed here for a couple of days en-route to Scotland. It’s not far from the A1 and ideal place to relax after the journey. I wished we had been staying an extra few days. There was nothing to dislike about this property.
