- Nicola (10/5): -
- Geoghan (10/5): Definitely stay again - I loved how relaxing it was It’s so relaxed and the views are beautiful
- Marianne (8/5): Short stay - The staff were amazing, really helpful and kind. Nothing, the weather but thats nothing to.do with the accomodation.
- John-Roy (9/5): Very good stay, really enjoyable and the owner was very helpful. - Very good overall, really unique place and a nice experience. The hot tub was great and the setting was peaceful. The owner was very helpful. It was quite cold, especially at night, but the heated blanket helped a lot.
- Jasmine (1/5): Terrible - do not stay - Do not recommend we stayed for an hour and had to leave - we got there- there are hidden charges extra £50 to use hot tub £40 for wood for the fire - Got there the electrics was down we wasn’t told prior to rearrange just got told at the property , there is no heaters just a big central fire however that in a small confined space gets very Smokey even with windows and doors open - we was there for an hour fire on with no other heat source eyes burning, coughing and had to leave - there’s no insulation in the hut it’s like a dolls house / shed with gusts of wind blowing in Woman was untrustworthy- we requested a refund for our stay as we only stayed an hour or asked to rearrange as the electrics were down when we was staying we was denied this and she sent evidence of the property with electrics working (old photos) and was very deceiving
- Edwards (6/5): -
- Karl (2/5): - Location was great No shower and no water and very smoky in the hut
- Claire (1/5): Don’t stay in winter - It was cute and quaint and in the summer it would be gorgeous. The hot tub, although we couldn’t get in because it needs to be heated by a fire for 2 hours before you use it, was really beautiful, all lit up and would be gorgeous views from it. It was -2° outside and really windy, there was no heating in the property, the lovely lady who owns it did put an electric blanket in there for us but it was just so so cold. We ended up getting a hotel nearby and leaving. In the description, it should say that there is no heating and maybe they shouldn’t take bookings in autumn/winter. Or provide a little heater? Don’t recommend for the winter months. Wish I had known prior to booking that there was no heating.
- Ryan (9/5): Really good to escape modern life - Loved that the hobbit hub was back to basics, no tv or WiFi, open fires and a wood burner hot tub to relax In No shower
- Alex (10/5): Fabulous time! Would definitely come back ❤️ - Nice and tucked away, owners very kind and helpful! Close to a pub that does lovely food, was nice to be warmed by the open fire. We were just unlucky with the weather as it was storming so going to the toilet in the night was cold & wet!!
- Rosie (10/5): Amazing little weekend away - Had a lovely time at the hobbit hut, great place for a weekend away. Super chilled, hot tub was perfect and the extra little touches like marshmallows and games were really appreciated.
- Ian (10/5): Amazing hosts , amazing place to just chill and relax - We arrived later than expected we had a problem with the car breaking down, maria and her partner came out of their way and picked us up as being 6 minutes away from our accomodations, they even offered a lift for us going back to our vehicle before sorting recovery out in the morning.
We arrived just before dark and the views over the hills are amazing also overlooking the fishing lake , they have few our building that you can stay at ,
It's lovely quiet and peaceful.
They even set the hot tub fire up for us and the fire Inside ready for us, these little things make the trip even better.
Thank you for our stay it was amazing and would love to come back. Nothing we didn't like

- Olivia (5/5): Mediocre - Would have liked to know before hand that we couldn’t order breakfast, due to the lady being on holiday so would of made other arrangements, as we went away for a special occasion. The fire causes the gut to become extremely Smokey.
- Paul (8/5): Very good - The area lovely views your very friendly welcoming dog who kept my partner on her toes entertaining each other. The privacy and you do just get left alone. To enjoy your stay, nice, safe place to park It definitely needs thicker warmer tog, douva needed, and new thicker more comfortable mattress, but all was clean and cosy. And fully enjoyed our stay
- Hannah (10/5): A gorgeous night away with attentive helpful owners. - We loved the location, and being greeted with a bottle of proscecco and some chocolates!
The facilities were better than I was expecting with tea, coffee and milk available. There was a thermos with hot water already there for a brew which was a lovely touch!
There was a heated blanket which was a lifesaver and warm comfy bedding which was clean and fresh. The owner was only a text away and brought us bottles of water for brews etc.
Will definitely visit again ❤️ Nothing, everything was clean with more facilities than are listed.
