In an unfamiliar place this is such a useful thing. The food is home cooked and so fairly priced Genuinely just such a welcoming, wholesome hotel.

• Volker (8/5): Herzliches Familiengasthaus in atemberaubender Umgebung! - - sehr herzlicher Empfang und Umgang, man hat sich als Gast willkommen gefühlt - bombastische Aussicht - Zimmer mit Balkon - umfangreiches, üppiges und mit Liebe gemachtes Frühstück, das man draußen zu sich nehmen kann - ich finde eine sehr gute Lage (allerdings hatte ich auch ein Auto) - Abstriche bei der Sauberkeit - Standard-Ausstattung wie ein Tisch nicht vorhanden - für mich eher ein Privathaus als ein Hotel (dies ohne Wertung), man darf nur nicht das Falsche erwarten
• Koen (8/5): Fijn gezellig verblijf bij fijne mensen en een stuk van Albanië gezien dat ons heel erg is meegevallen. - Het was er zeer gemoedelijk en een huiselijke sfeer. Dus meer een guesthouse of B&B dan een echt hotel. Maar dit was geen probleem. Zeer vriendelijke eigenares , elke avond en ochtend een praatje gemaakt over de dag die gepasseerd was of nog moest komen. Geserveerd eten, gewone dagelijkse kost. Maar goed. Meer als voldoende ontbijt en je mocht steeds wel zeggen waar je zin in had. Bij het vertrek nog wat mountain thee meegekregen. Spijtig genoeg is het verwarmings systeem een beetje achterhaald. Je kan zelf de temperatuur in de kamer niet regelen. Nu in de zomer is dit zeker geen probleem, maar wij waren daar bij de eerste sneeuw en dan heb je graag verwarming, maar ook weer niet teveel.

• Mira (10/5): Prachtig uitzicht en lieve familie - Hele fijne guesthouse met prachtig uitzicht. De familie is heel erg vriendelijk! Kamer was schoon, eten simpel, maar prima. Grote aanrader om te verblijven als wil hiken in/rondom Theth. Je moet wel nog met de auto om in Theth zelf te komen gezien het op de berg ligt. -

• Hamid (10/5): Great hospitality and perfect location for Theth - The owners were so kind and very hospital. They helped us with our car problems and were also in contact with our car rental company. The view is beautiful, we had a perfect look at the mountains and the sunset. The food was delicious and traditional. The room was cosy and had everything we needed. We definitely would recommend! We’ll come back one day! We liked everything!
• J.R. (8/5): - Unser Zimmer war ausreichend groß und das Bett bequem. Wir empfanden die Lage super. Es ist ca. 5 Kilometer oberhalb des Ortskerns und dadurch ist es sehr ruhig. Die Aussicht auf die Berge ist grandios. Unten war es uns Mitte September zu viel Trouble. Allerdings empfehlen wir ein Auto, da der Weg in den Ort und zurück sonst recht anstrengend ist. Die Familie, die das Hotel führt, war extrem freundlich und hilfsbereit (wie viele hatten wir Probleme mit einem platten Reifen). Das Frühstück war lecker und es gab eine gute Auswahl (auch für Vegetarier). Wir empfehlen das Hotel und würden wiederkommen! Leider ist das Haus sehr hellhörig. Das haben wir in Albanien aber überall gehabt. Es fehlte uns ein größerer Mülleimer im Zimmer. Es gab lediglich einen kleinen im Bad. Dies vielleicht als Anregung :-) Leider war das Bad immer recht nass, wenn man geduscht hat, also besser die Fußmatte weiter weglegen ;-) Wir hatten Zimmer 25. Unabhängig von m Hotel mussten wir leider auch in Theth feststellen, dass es ein großes Müllproblem gibt. Im Ort lag auf freien Flächen teilweise extrem viel Müll. Vermutlich waren Touristen für den größten Teil verantwortlich. Daher die Bitte den eigenen Müll immer mitzunehmen, wenn es keine Möglichkeitkeit gibt ihn gut zu entsorgen.
• Peter (9/5): Nette Gastgeber und tolles Frühstück - Sehr leckeres Frühstück. Wir haben dort ebenfalls zu Abend gegessen und fanden es sehr lecker. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein Kühlschrank auf dem Zimmer wäre toll gewesen. Die Ausstattung ist ohne Klimaanlage und Fernseher etwas einfacher gehalten.
• Chiara (9/5): Wir haben uns sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt und würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. - Die Familie ist super nett und hilfsbereit! Die Zimmer sind neu und blitzsauber, die Aussicht vom Garten auf die Berge ist ein Traum und das Frühstücksbuffet auch sehr lecker. Wir kamen im dunklen an und hatten erst Schwierigkeiten die Unterkunft zu finden, da kein Schild an der Abzweigung steht.

They cooked us dinner, which was tasty but quite oily (in hindsight, we should have clarified this in advance). The property is a few kilometers from the town, so in the evenings you feel a bit isolated — which may suit some travelers. The view from the room, however, was absolutely breathtaking. Thanks for the stay! The rooms are very simple and a bit outdated, and the bathroom was not very clean. No shampoo

• Artur (1/5): Zdecydowanie wielkie rozczarowanie, odradzam - nic nie było ok, bo niestety daliśmy się zwieść pozytywnym ocenom, ale to miejsce nie ma żadnego standardu hotelu, to raczej kiepskie schronisko - meble są zdezelowane, stare koce jako narzuty, zakurzony i poplamiony dywan, łazienka brudna z włosami poprzednich lokatorów na podłodze i suszarce, stary dywanik na podłodze łazienki, stare ręczniki kąpielowe, plamy kawy na balkonie po poprzednich lokatorach, mole na ścianach, mało urozmaicone śniadanie, budynek jakby nieukończony i zniszczony, na balkonie brakuje kafli, na oknach parapetów, gołe żarówki jako lampy.., Bardzo mili są gospodarze i widok na góry jest przepiękny, ale to jednak za mało na udany pobyt, zwłaszcza za taką cenę. Wielkie rozczarowanie - zgłosiliśmy reklamację bookingowi, ale jak na razie bez odzewu wszystko - było brudno i obskurnie, obiekt wymaga dofinansowania, a cena była taka jak za normalny standard - kompletnie nieadekwatna do złej jakości, obok - jak się okazało na miejscu - był nowy hotel, który miał podobne ceny noclegów, ale niestety nie miał już wolnych miejsc, inaczej byśmy zmienili miejsce pobytu

Do samego centrum Theth trzeba dojechać samochodem ale to nie jest wada, biorąc pod uwagę jakie widoki czekają na Ciebie w tym miejscu warto. Cudowni gospodarze, rodzinna atmosfera. Piękny taras na którym można odpocząć, zjeść i nacieszyć oczy pięknymi widokami.

• Kathrin (8/5): Albanien pur - Wir haben unseren Sommerurlaub für eine Woche bei der sehr, sehr lieben Familie verbracht. Wir wurden sehr herzlich aufgenomnen und es wurde zu jeder Zeit Hilfe angeboten. Da unser Auto aufgrund einer leeren Batterie nicht ansprang, dachten wir schon unser Tagesausflug fällt flach und wir sind erstmal mit der Reperatur beschäftigt. Der Sohn der Familie half uns sofort und wir konnten schon wenig später unseren Urlaub weiter genießen. Das heimische Essen war meist sehr lecker. Besonders die traditionellen Gerichte am Abend ließen nichts zu wünschen übrig. Alle waren sehr kinderlieb. Unsere große Tochter durfte einen Einblick in die Küche bekommen und mitmachen, danke dafür! Die Kinder haben es geliebt den Abend auf dem Hof mit den anderen Kindern ausklingen zu lassen. Da wir früher abreisten um noch ein bisschen mehr vom Land zu sehen, bekamen wir sehr wohlwollend schon bezahlte Tage zurpckerstattet. Sibora, danke auch an Dich, dass du so herzlich mit uns kommuniziert hast und in jeder Situation mit 3 Kindern viel Verständnis zeigtest und auch geholfen hast. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen und schätzen die Warmherzigkeit und Menschlichkeit der gesamten Familie sehr! Es gibt auch einen tollen Pool im Nachbarhotel. Es war sehr heiß, als wir da waren. Wir haben eher schlechter geschlafen, da es keine Klimaanlage gab und wir dir Türen auflassen mussten. Draußen war es dann oft laut. Durch streunende Hunde hauptsächlich. Es ist aber auch einfach ungewöhnlich heiß gewesen. Familie Guri besorgte uns auch einen Ventilator und ist deswegen extra nach Shkodra gefahren. Also sie waren immer sehr hilfsbereit. Alles Andere war tippitoppi.
• Philip (10/5): Outstanding stay just outside of Theth - My 2 nights at Hotel Vellezrit Guri were not enough! The location and views are incredible, the family who run the hotel are extremely friendly and helpful, they went out of their way to help me out, giving me a lift into the village. The hotel itself is very comfortable, cosy, and clean, with modern rooms and comfortable beds. The home-cooked food is also outstanding and well priced. Breakfast on the terrace, looking out over the valley, is something I will remember for a long time! Simply one of the best places I have stayed!

The family there is super loving, from the person helping with the room to the cleaner and the cook, they're all one big family. You feel like you're part of them, and they give you everything with their whole hearts. If they don't have something, they'll help you out. It was a perfect 👌 experience

She gave me a bottle of water etc. very nice woman! Was a long hike up the mountain - like 45 min. And the room was odd - and people could look in on my bed. I don’t think the price was proportionate - but lovely place.

• Nelly (10/5): Everything was great - We absolutely loved our stay at this family-owned property. . The room was very spacious for me, daughter and husband. The view was great. At night, went for a few drinks at the restaurant. Our daughter became friends with the younger daughter of the owners, and they had such a great time playing. We had to leave really early when we checked out so we can make it to our next destination on time. They were very accommodating and even made breakfast for all of us really early so we can take on the road with us. I highly recommend this place. Our family really enjoyed our stay. We can honestly say we had no complaints. Everything was great No issues at all. If anything, perhaps we could have stayed an extra day.

• Ayesha (10/5): Exceptional - This hotel has the most beautiful view of the mountains of Theth. The family running it are so welcoming and friendly. The room was huge, with three beds and a good bathroom with shower. There were slippers for the bathroom, and plenty of towels. We had a balcony where we watched the stars from at night, which was so nice to have as it meant we didn’t have to leave our room. The breakfast was delicious and we ended up staying and admiring the view far too long from the breakfast spot! Overall, a lovely stay. Just be wary that the drive up from the main road- while very short, is steep and rocky. We were fine in our rented golf however. The owners communicated with us via whatsapp and even checked in to make sure we were having a safe drive on the way, which was very sweet.

With my daughter that has special needs and my 4 years old they have allowed me to access their kitchen in the middle of the night which was very helpful. Their place is a must go in Theth. The Family is so careful and Treated us the best way possible. We enjoyed our time to the fullest in Theth because we stayed at their Place. The rooms are super cozy, well furnished and the view from the balcony was Amazing. We already know - we will come back for Sure! 🥰 PS: best breakfast and Dinner!!

• Justina (8/5): Very caring and welcoming staff and fantastic valley view - Overall, we were very happy with our stay ! The room was simple, but it wasn't missing anything, it was as described and depicted in pictures. And views from the small balcony - spectacular ;) same from their terrace and the garden! The staff was very helpful and friendly, helped us with all questions and requests, were very honestly taking care of all their guests. Cards were accepted which is surely not the case everywhere, and it was a big advantage, too. All food was home cooked, nothing fancy, but one can see it is done with care and attention. The place is further from Theth and the famous Valbonna hike, but that is also clear from the map, and instead one gets fantastic views to the valley :)) The only issue for us was that it was quite warm in a room and quite loud in the morning - we are, unfortunately, a bit sensitive to noise. We kept windows open to get some colder air, and therefore we heard all the noises from 6AM on. It is normal since it is a family business and work in such hotel must start early, but it was surely a bit difficult to sleep.

• Merlene (10/5): Great location and views. Family accommodated every request and every meal we tried was excellent during our 4 days. We - Family owned and run , beautiful property , away from the hustle and bustle and such a retreat. It’s 7min by car to “downtown” and just what you need after long days out. The warmth of the guri family is outstanding and the food was phenomenal! No complains whatsoever.

Great place to stay, we thought the location was perfect because it is quieter than staying in downtown Theth and there are better views from this location! Definitely would stay here again!
• Øyvind (10/5): Exceptional - Very impressive location and nature. Friendly people, good service all round. Some issues when we first arrived since the hotel was closed down due to no other guests. But as soon as we got in contact the service was 100% and they got the whole place running for us 3 alone! Could use better sign with the main road as we had trouble finding the way.
