• Rebecca (10/5): Beautiful and perfect - Marco was helpful from the point of booking and greated us on arrival and shared maps and places of interest to visit. Responsive to any messages we sent during our stay and left phone numbers in case of any emergencies (we didn’t need to use them but reassuring to have) Property felt really secure Room was clean and had little extras like plates, cutlery, bottle opener and they’d left drinks in the fridge for us too. We loved our little balcony and was lovely to have breakfast on and drinks in the evening. Perfect location for everything-trains, boats, buses, shops, restaurants-right in the centre of eveything. Nothing-we loved our stay here.

• John (9/5): Very pleased with the suite, excellent location and very nice overall. Would certainly stay there again - Our first trip to Italy and we didn’t know what to expect in terms of accommodation. Our experience is that you have a bedroom and bathroom in a converted apartment that has 4 other suites within the apartment. That’s not an issue just didn’t know what we would get in terms of accommodation. This property was well located on the main pedestrian street through downtown LaSpezia. It was a 10 minute walk from the train station. Marco and his daughter met us at the apartment and provided keys and orientation materials which was helpful. Marco also followed up via message to see how our stay was progressing. The apartment is on the third floor but has a small elevator. We preferred to use the stairs and although the hallway was dark there was a light switch on a timer with a lit red toggle that lit up the stairway. The unit itself was typical with queen bed a storage cabinet desk and bathroom with a shower and toilet and bidet and sink. Although there was a sign that hot water was heated via a small boiler and was good for at least two showers we did not find a problem with the amount of hot water available on demand. The queen size bed was very comfortable and electrical outlets were available on both sides of the bed. There was a window which opened and a nice added touch - a clothes line outside the window with clothes pins in a basket inside the room. Beyond the properties control was construction nearby and late on Friday night they were loading debris into a metal bin so was noisy until about 23:00. Marco also provided a variety of teas and snacks and there were juice drinks in the small fridge which again was a nice touch. The floors were terrazzo inside the suite and marble stairs inside the building which were nice. The suite was quaint. One thing that happened that was totally unexpected was a temporary market on Friday on the nearby street filled with clothes vendors - mostly women’s clothes and my wife bought a number of things. Not so much what we didn’t like but the shower was elevated above the bathroom floor and one step up was required to enter and exit the shower. There were 3 keys needed for the building one for the front door of the building one to enter the apartment and another to enter the individual room which also needed to be locked with the key after entering. For us it was a quaint feature for others carrying keys may not be their cup of tea.

Close to train & marina. Marco, wife & Elisa were very friendly and nice hosts. They made sure the guests feel at home & provide services for guests comfort. The room is clean, finely decorated & well isolated, the bath & toilet is modern and good touch. Large & comfy bed. Nice to have coffeemaker with coffee, tea, cakes & cold drinks on fridge. There were plates and wine opener. They made a brochure/ guide as to what to see in La Spezia, Cinque terre & nearby villages with descriptions & transport options. Suggestion about restaurants, nice food to eat. Yes fantastic food & cheap specially the self service restaurant by the Marina. Thank you so much Marco & family for a wonderful stay. Petit hôtel familial avec ascenseur, clim, wifi gratuite, réfrigérateur, coffre-fort... si bien situé, à 7 minutes de la gare, tout près du port, et au coeur des animations. La chambre est spacieuse et très propre. Plein d’attentions, café, thé, gâteaux, etc. Marco, parlant français, patient et d’une extrême gentillesse, n’est pas avare de conseils. Possibilité, si besoin, de communiquer facilement avec lui. Il nous a orientées vers des lieux fort sympathiques. Tout ceci a rendu notre séjour très agréable. Our room was modern with wonderful bathroom facilities, and the bed was very comfortable and spotless Elisa gave us wonderful suggestions and ideas of how we could spend our time in La Spezia and highlighting all the places to visit and see on a map. The location was fantastic, just 5 minute walk from the train station and right in the centre of the city on the main street, close to restaurants, shops and walking distance to the ferry to visit Porta Venera which is a must visit while in La Spezia. Das Zimmer ist toll eingerichtet und Marco und seine Tochter stehen mit Rat und Tat jederzeit zur Seite. Im Zimmer gab es, neben einem liebevoll vorbereiteten Informationsordner, Kaffee, Küchlein und sogar Geschirr und Besteck für den kleinen Imbiss zu Hause. Wir waren mitten im Zentrum und trotzdem war es ruhig zum Schlafen. LaSpezia war mit dieser Unterkunft ein toller Aufenthalt.

Bardzo przyjaźni gospodarze, czysto, wyposażenie pokoju bardzo dobre, na wszystko przewidziano miejsce do położenia lub powieszenia. Wygodne łóżko, łazienka z prysznicem i bidetem. Mieliśmy pokój z balkonem, położony nad ulicą zamkniętą dla samochodów, w odległości kilku minut pieszo od dworca La Spezia Centrale (bezproblemowy dojazd do Pizy i do Cinque Terre) i ok. 10 minut pieszo od portu promów płynących m.in. do Cinque Terre (prostą drogą; mapy Google pokazują jakieś dziwne zakrętasy). Dużo restauracji i sklepów w bezpośrednim sąsiedztwie. Ulica stanowi miejski deptak, ale nocą nie jest hałaśliwie. Bezproblemowo zostawiliśmy bagaże do przechowania ostatniego dnia po wymeldowaniu. Cena jest dość wysoka, cóż, w ostatnich latach usługi turystyczne znacznie podrożały.

La chambre était très propre et les installations sont modernes et très agréables. Nous y avons très bien dormi et la chambre est bien insonorisée. There is a lift. Our balcony was small but room to sit and watch people walking up and down the street. Restaurants, bars, icecream shops very close by. Train station only 5 mins walk and the ferry port about 15-20 mins walk. Absolutely nothing. Everything was great.
• Micu (10/5): - Marco și Elisa,foarte drăguți și disponibili.Sper să întâlnesc în toate vacanțele gazde ca ei. Camera curată, exact ca în poze. Dacă voi avea ocazia sigur mă voi caza din nou.
• Jordi (10/5): Tot impecable. - El tracte personal, els consells per fer turisme per la zona, tenen uns libres informatius que valen or… les instal·lacions i la neteja. No tinc cap queixa, per dir alguna cosa el preu podria ser una mica mes ajustat.

• Wendy (10/5): - Zeer vriendelijke ontvangst, mooie plek midden in centrum, wij hadden kamer grenzend aan achterplaats. Perfect en rustig. Parkeren kan in de buurt (witte lijnen) gratis, 10 min lopen. De verhuurder Elisa en Marco kunnen instructie / route geven. Ook betaald parkeren mogelijk, 5 min lopen. Wij zijn erg tevreden over de kamer en de prettige en snell communicatie! 10 min va treinstation. Niks
• Sandrine (10/5): - Tout était parfait: l accueil en français de Marco, la propreté, la décoration de la chambre, la qualité du service avec petits gâteaux , boissons fraîches et café présents dans la chambre. Tout était correct

• Adrian (9/5): - La atención y cálida bienvenida de Marco y su cercanía. La ubicación en una zona concurrida con mucha restauración y cerca de la estación Tasa turística (prácticamente en toda Italia)
• Omar (10/5): - La stanza è molto accogliente, dotata di tutti i servizi necessari, la posizione e perfetta in pieno centro a soli 7 minuti dalla stazione. I proprietari ci hanno accolto benissimo e sono sempre stati disponibili, consigliandoci anche cosa visitare. Se dovessimo tornare a La Spezia alloggeremo sicuramente qui
