Guest Reviews
- Yasmin (1/5): DO NOT STAY HERE ! PLACE SHOULD BE CONDEMNED - DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!
The property was DISGRACEFUL. Narcotics left on table. FILTHY dirty. Bedsheets were FILTHY. SHOWER FLOODED THE KITCHEN DUE TO HOLE IN THE WALL STAFF WERE HORRIBLE AND REFUSED TO ACCOMADATE US
- Teresa (1/5): It was ok just for 1 night - Didn't offer break fast State of the property
- Allan (2/5): Stay away from this property - It was warm and the bed were clean and comfortable Hole in kitchen ceiling, presumably due to water damage from the cracks in the wall in bathroom. Wallpaper has been slapped on with no care, carpets are I'll fitted. Loose floorboards. Front door catches on the floor as you open it. Dining chair missing an arm. Kids bunk beds latter was broken so a step ladder was provided. What bits they had tried to wield together had metal brackets sticking out that could cause children damage. The TV stand is broken and it sits at a downwards slant. TV reception is horrible so couldn't actually watch anything anyway. Microwave hasn't ever been cleaned by looks of it. Loose toilet seat, ceiling in bathroom was once held up by tape but now hanging off.
- Shona Louise (10/5): easy, good value for money & decent host! - Very early check in available giving us a head start to our day. Host had really good communication throughout. Lastly, the Bottle of Prosecco on arrival was very appreciated!! Thank you so much :) the property is a wee bit dated but has so much potential & could be cleaner but this didn't impact our stay in any way!
- Christopher (1/5): Terrible, avoid at all costs - Absolutely nothing When we arrived the road stunk. House was falling apart, wallpaper peeling off all the walls and stains in all the carpets. We arrived late due to issues with travel, around 8.30pm and went straight out. Used the beds to sleep in then left early in the morning. The owner has since requested a damage refund, asking for £50 for TV remotes that were ‘missing and broken’ that we didn’t even touch. Would not recommend this property to my worst enemy. Have to leave it 1 star as it won’t let me leave negative 1000.
- Kirianne (10/5): Brilliant stay. Thank you for your hospitality! YNWA - The kindness of the person we spoke to. We accidentally broke a plate and left behind all the cash we had to replace it, and they offered to give it to the folks selling the big issues around Liverpool. What a great person!
(Also a 14 minute walk from anfield for any away/home fans) YNWA!

- Susanna (1/5): Avoid avoid Avoid!!! - I can honestly say this is the worst property we have ever stayed in. Could not take a shower during our stay as water was leaking through the ceiling from the bathroom down to the kitchen , the house was filthy, microwave looked like it had never been cleaned with mold inside it, same goes for the fridge. Stinking flannel left in the bathroom, bathroom/toilet door not shutting properly and no locks on the door. Wallpaper peeling off the walls , dangerous loose floorboards causing carpet to lift when you walk over it . Couldn’t open windows in the front bedroom . As panes of glass had been placed over the catches and held in with screws . Plz avoid this property. This property is dangerous and I have advised booking.com to remove it from their website/ app. Owner said he would issue me with a full refund , this is still yet to materialise.
- Christopher (1/5): Disgusting - The location was the only good thing about this house. This is the most disgracefully neglected property that we have ever stayed in!! It should be deleted from booking.com immediately! Every thing in the house has been neglected for decades. It hasn't been cleaned at all, probably since the last owner died in it. The toilet was still soiled and un-flushed from the previous guests! The bath was dirty and had really old dried hairs in it. The kitchen table was filthy and the work tops were all covered in a white substance. The dishcloth had dried food on it. Glasses in the cupboards had mildew in them. The carpets were all filthy. The flooring upstairs can only be described as unsafe as the floor boards are rotten. We didn't trust the bedding and we slept in our clothes on top of it! The parking was on the street and was only legal with a residence permits! We risked it and didn't get a parking ticket. The landlord show be ashamed of himself, even if he was friendly and helpful in giving us the correct code for the key box after the one we had received didn't work. We couldn't wait to leave!
- Martin (1/5): No partial refund even though was told we would - Good location and good price We had no heating or hot water, even tho the owner came over to take a look could not get it working. Was also informed by them that they would give us a partial refund for the fact we had no heating or hot water, messaged owner after our stay and no reply and no partial refund
- Amanda (3/5): Poor -
- Anna (7/5): Pleasant night in Liverpool - Beds and furniture very comfortable. Lovely large kitchen. Spacious accommodation which the five of us, including 2 children, appreciated. Host helpful and responds quickly to queries. Front bedroom a little noisy even quite late at night due to traffic - only single glazing in the property.
- Emma (5/5): short, fairly priced, could do with some TLC - spacious, perfect location, well equipped with fresh bedding/towels cobwebs, flies, and a musty smell
- Charlotte (2/5): Abbey Road, Anfield review - Nothing! The kitchen had water on the floor from the ceiling. Bath was dirty shower rail falling off. Sides of the bath were coming off. The door wouldn't shut very
easily when you did lock, it was very difficult to open again. Master bedroom, the window was wedged open with a towel. Made it too noisy to stay in the room. The front door couldn't be opened properly as the floor wasn't put down correctly.
- Ranjith (1/5): Worst experience I ever had in my life - Nothing Everything
- Jacinta (7/5): Good - We enjoyed our stay at 2 Abbey Road excellent location to town and Anfield Alot noise outside at night.
- Megan (9/5): Superb -
- Ella (8/5): Very good - Cheap, warm and comfy beds.
- Rosina (6/5): Friendly and responsive host despite the property being a little run-down. - The location, and host responded prompty. A little run-down.
- George (8/5): Great value - Very reasonably priced, milk was left in the fridge for our stay. Toilet roll, towels and spare bedding were all available as well. The house was all pretty clean and tidy. Plenty of plates, cutlery etc. There was a freezer compartment in the top of the fridge which was handy for ice. I think it could have been better if there were pint or half pint glasses in the house and also if some of the drinks and toiletries from previous guests were cleaned out of the kitchen/bathroom. Wi-fi would also have been good to have. Overall though, for the price, I was very happy and would stay again.
- Donna (8/5): Very pleasant stay - We loved the whole place my favourite room was the big pink bedroom and was very comfy beds. We loved that you put stuff in the kitchen like the milk eggs and little bits like that as some well known hotels don't even do anything like that so thank you. The front door was very hard to open and wasn't sure which key to use. It was quite stiff to open. The only other thing was the TV signal was quite bad most of the channels didn't work. No WiFi but that is fine as host told us they were installing it soon and we were first guests. (I didn't like leaving as liked the place too much).
