Guest Reviews
- Sarah (9/5): Great holiday stay! - Great location, thoughtfully considered layout and interiors. The barn is clean and looks as shown in the photos — a lovely place to come back to after days out exploring! The host was very responsive For five people, we would have appreciated more crockery and cutlery to prepare multiple meals without needing to run the dishwasher.
- Julian (9/5): Perfect stay in the heart of the Peak District - Great location, clean, well-appointed accommodation and responsive hosts. Perfect stay in the heart of the Peak District. Parking a bit tight if you have a larger car.
- john (10/5): Great accomodation. Nice, friendly village with 3 pubs surrounded by lovely countryside. - All good Nothing.
- Hazel (10/5): Lovely accommodation and a most beautiful location - Lots of nice additional touches and good clear information. Good quality furnishings and accessories. Loved the nice hand wash and hand cream in the bathroom very nice touch. Boot room was especially good idea.
The Picture window and views were spectacular. Being picky there was quite a bit of dust and dirt under the sofas
- Mark (10/5): A much needed, restful holiday. - Beautiful property. Everything was of an excellent quality. All equipment in the kitchen was of a good standard, everything had been thought of and more. Bedding lovely quality and towels , loved shower gel, soaps and hand cream. Great touches with hair dryer and straighteners. We feel that the property could only be improved by a few little things there were no dislikes. You could add a stair gate . We had a small dog and was frightened she would fall on open stairs so had to use a draw from bedroom chest if draws . Our friend is also visually impaired and we felt a handrail may be helpful on left hand side as you come down the stairs.
- Helen (10/5): Beautiful house in a lovely area! - Fab location in the heart of village but away from the main road. The house is beautifully designed & so comfortable. The full length big window in the sitting area looking onto the valley really makes this a special property. It was lovely to sit and watch the rain & sunshine blow by (It was the dog's favourite spot as well). 2 mins walk to lots of country paths, the lovely river walks, local pubs & shops. Youlgreave is a great villlage if you love walking & quiet countryside. We also had a great meal in the Bulls Head. 2 couples & a dog had a fabulous few days - we hope to be back!
- Keith (9/5): Superb accommodation, great location. Perfect for couples, families and dogs! - Location in a quiet location but close to amenities. Beautifully decorated, lovely furnishings and with good facilities. Great features and some lovely touches e.g. blankets, dog biscuits. Nothing! Some dog owners might need to check the stairs as there are gaps between steps, which some dogs may not like.

- Antony Kershaw (10/5): Very nice place - Beautifully decorated and comfortable house, loved the style of it, and the view from the living room/kitchen was amazing. A good location to get about as well. Nothing
- Heidi (10/5): Beautiful, holiday home thoughtfully furnished. - It was so stylish. The quality of all the furnishings and fittings was superb. So thoughtful. Needed a measuring jug and serving bowl for salads etc. Not a criticism as the great knives, pans etc made up for a few missing items.
- Charlotte (10/5): Perfect set up in a fabulous location. Had everything we needed. - Beautifully presented. Lots of really nice touches. The Christmas tree with lights on was really nice.
Layout was really suitable for us as we are out doorsy and it gave us a space to put our boots/ coats etc.
shower was lovely.
Fire was fab.
View from the window was exceptional Nothing
- Andrew (10/5): A fabulous stay in a beautiful barn conversion - Stock Barn has been finished to a high standard, and great care and a lot of thought has been put into everything. Comfortable, warm, great location just off the main road through the village Nothing
- Kim (10/5): It was a wonderful family break in a stunning property and area. - It is beautifully and tastefully renovated. Very well equipped with lovely furniture and exceptionally comfortable beds. Nothing!
- Matt (9/5): We meet up as a family, some from the midlands and some from Yorkshire, so this was a great location in the middle. Ever - Superbly decorated, comfortable and in a great location. The picture window was amazing. Comfortable beds and furniture.
