Andreas also helped us to book a whale watching trip and had a lot of tips for us. Nothing negative to say, we loved this place.

- Theresa (10/5): Wirklich alles hervorragend - Die Gastgeber sind unfassbar freundlich und betreiben die Plantation mit viel Liebe! Die Lage ist super, um Faial zu erkunden. Das Frühstück war hervorragend. Es gibt einen richtigen Föhn, zwei Bettdecken, einen Aufenthaltsbereich für alle Gäste, einen selbst erstellen Reiseführer usw. Sollten wir noch mal auf Faial Urlaub machen, wäre die Plantation Faial unsere erste Wahl.

- Miriam (10/5): Immerso nella natura con una colazione da sogno! - Situato in un posto meravigliosa, questa struttura offre tutti i comfort per chi ama viaggiare, inclusa una bellissima cucina condivisa. La colazione? IL TOP!!! Non ho mai visto così tanta cura e dedizione nei nostri viaggi, prodotti freschi (spremuta di arancia ogni mattina!) così come la Frutta e una ampia scelta di formaggi e salumi. Andreas e Barbara sono due persone molto accoglienti e ti fanno sentire veramente a casa; Andreas sa dare importanti indicazioni per visitare l’isola!
- Megan (9/5): NIcely appointed and great breakfasts - The guest rooms were lovely and very comfortable. The common areas were well thought out and really helped make the stay for our small group very enjoyable. The breakfasts were great - good variety, high quality, and the service was attentive while being sensitive. Two very tiny suggestions - 1) we were not familiar with the climate control systems in the guest rooms and struggled a bit to get the settings correct. Adding instructions for them to the very informative booklets in each guest room would be helpful. 2) Please add pineapples to the breakfast menu! I was a bit disappointed that the pineapple plantation did not serve pineapples :-(. Fortunately the other excellent breakfast foods made up for it. The homemade jams were particularly good.

Nous avions la chambre qui donnait sur le petit salon commun et la cuisinette, alors, plus bruyant et moins intime...

- Yin (9/5): Lovely B&B hosted by amazing couple - Beautiful place on old plantation, rooms are very comfy and clean and has a nice balcony. The location is just 5 minutes from Horta and 8 to the airport. The best thing are the lovely host and hostess, Andreas and Barbara. They take such good care and made it the best stay of my holiday. Plus an amazing view of mnt Pico! Nothing

L'emplacement à proximité d'Horta est calme et a été une très bonne découverte. Le petit-déjeuner était parfait, avec des produits locaux et pour certains faits maison (le gâteau était un régal) Rien, c'était parfait !
- Roger (10/5): Barbara + Andreas have made our vacay a memorable one. We will visit the Azores again! - Every aspect of our stay was perfect. The hosts (Barbara and Andreas) made us feel right at home. Barbara's breakfast left us with a pound or two more than when we arrived! LOL. Delicious. Our stay was longer than most (9 nights) but every day the hosts made us feel like we just arrived. The room was spacious and well-appointed. And daily clean linen was a must for our hosts. We appreciate that detail. We did not feel like we were in a hotel or an Air B&B. We felt like guests at Barbara's and Andreas'. We would definitely go back but nine days on Faial and we have had the chance to see all there is to see, hike like we wanted to, and take time to relax as well. ADDED PLUS: Andreas is a guide and as such had great tips each day of where we could visit, eat, and discover. Nothing!

- Laure (10/5): Rundum perfekt :-) - Sehr familiäre Atmosphäre, ruhig gelegene Unterkunft, super nette Besitzer, außergewöhnliches Frühstück und mit viel Liebe zubereitet, super Lage um die Ergebung zu erkunden (und in 10 min. mit dem Auto in Horta), Andreas gibt gute Ausflugtipps, Getränke stehen zur Verfügung, es fehlte an absolut nichts. Wir würden die Unterkunft wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Nichts zu bemängeln :-)

The hosts Barbara and Andreas so friendly and welcoming. The breakfast from Barbara is amazing, Andreas knows everything about the island and helped to organize a lot of stuff for us. We would go there anytime again. Nothing
- Marie (10/5): Perfect accommodation close by to Horta - Staying with Andreas and Barbara at the Plantation Faial exceeded all of our expectations! The hospitality provided by them was awesome - the room was very spacious, clean and we also got perfect breakfasts each day and if we ever had any questions about the Island, Andreas was more than helpful! The accommodation itself is very lovely, close by to Horta and you can also walk around the plantation freely and if you’re lucky, you might even spot mount Pico from your balcony :) If we ever return to Faial, we already know where we shall be staying :) To Andreas and Barbara - thank you once again for everything! - Matthias (10/5): Sehr schöner Aufenthalt - Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt hier sehr genossen. Die Zimmer sind modern und mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet - man fühlt sich sofort wohl. Der Ausblick ist einfach traumhaft und sorgt schon morgens für gute Laune. Ein besonderes Highlight war das Frühstück: frisch, abwechslungsreich und mit regionalen Leckereien - genau so startet man gerne in den Tag! Ein großes Dankeschön auch an die Gastgeber, die stets hilfsbereit waren. Man merkt, dass hier viel Herzblut drinsteckt. Nichts. Toller Aufenthalt!
- SommerSonneSonnenschei87 (9/5): Familiäre Unterkunft - Ganz engagierte Besitzer dieser liebevoll gestaltet Unterkunft. Frühstück war hervorragend und auch hier mit sehr viel liebe zubereitet. Parkplatz direkt an der Unterkunft vorhanden. Zimmer war groß und geräumig. Sehr praktisch auch der Kühlschrank wo man sich immer gegen eine kleine, faire Gebühr Getränke nehmen konnte. Zimmer im ersten Stock bieten denke ich einen schöneren Ausblick, im Erdgeschoss war Mount Pico nicht vom sitzen aus auf der Terrasse sichtbar.
