- Stefan (8/5): Good rental in the outskirts above St. Denis - It's a lovely, comfortable holiday apartment with everything you need: fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, AC, wifi, TV. The price seems fair. Granted, the very professional photos of the place might create an illusion that reality fails to match but it's still a very nice rental that we enjoyed very much. It's located in a gorgeous neighborhood that climbs up the hills south of St Denis with marvelous views of the city. Get up early (6am) to enjoy the best views at dawn. There is a small grocery store nearby (Épicerie Mong-Lau) run by a very nice family where you'll get everything you need including some chit-chat. Narrow paths and stairs make for picturesque walks and lead down to centre (1.5km) Make sure you'll get the address right because Google Maps doesn't work properly in this maze of curvy streets. If you don't have a rental car, it's quite a long way downtown where all thr shops, sights and restaurants are located. Going down is a beautiful walk. Going uphill is strenuous in this climate. The nearest bus stop is "Rubins" (2 minutes walk). The app "Car Jaune" helps to find connections.
