It’s a place where peace and silence truly take over—perfect for slowing down, unwinding, and disconnecting from the hustle of everyday life. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged, making us feel at home from the very first moment. Waking up in such a quiet and serene environment was simply magical. A special thank you to our host, Tricia, who was incredibly kind and helpful. She explained everything clearly and made sure we had a perfect stay. We would definitely love to come back—highly recommended!

- Helen (10/5): Lovely quiet stay in Northern Skye - Superb location in Staffin, great views of the sea and across to the mainland. This property is very quiet and perfect base for walking in the north of the island. Tricia was very welcoming and available if we needed anything, which we didn't as everything was already there. Nothing, the accommodation was exactly as we expected and more.

Even our teen daughter enjoyed the space. Well equipped, we lacked for nothing. Owners and their pups were lovely. Nothing to dislike except that we had to leave!

Spacious, very well-equipped, friendly and helpful hosts, excellent location. The Quiraing was our favorite part of Skye, and Skye Stays is a very short drive from there. And then—two very sweet dogs (Lulu and Barney) love being pet if you are so inclined. Trish and Neil have created a beautiful, peaceful, and magical space, with gorgeous views and the best-equipped kitchen we’ve seen in our travels. They are great advisors and storytellers. Property was excellent.

- Jill (10/5): Amazing stay, wonderful host - Our favorite place, thank you so much Tricia for an unforgettable experience. Absolutely pristine, lovely, large apartment with full amenities. Hostess Tricia was so nice and helpful, and the two little dogs, Lulu and Bonnie, stole our hearts. Just 2.2 miles from the Quiraing trailhead, 12 miles from Old Man of Storr trailhead. Very appealing location away from the traffic of Portree town, easy driving to points north and west on Isle of Skye. Location was perfect for getting to hiking trails early so we had the trails all to ourselves. View of the sea, many hiking trails, beach, gorgeous countryside. Leaving! We miss Lulu and Bonnie, our little daily visitors.

Lovely location - you need a car to get around, but I'm sure that's the case if you are travelling in northern Skye :-). The views!! Tricia is a super friendly hostess, that took time to meet us, shared stories about the local community and Skye, and gave us losts of convenient suggestions -we would have missed the Quiraing walk otherwise. They have the most adorable dogs that made the day of our youngest daughter.

- Rushil (10/5): The best stay in Isle of Skye! - Beautiful and clean property. A nice big spacious property with a beautiful balcony overlooking lovely fields with lambs playing around. Looks exactly as shown in the pictures. The owner is the kindest person ever! We arrived late at night and she still came out to greet us and show us around the property. Gave us superb recommendations to eat as well! Very close to all the main attractions in Isle of Skye such as Quiraing hike, The Storr and Kilt rock. The drive to the property is spectacular!
- Teresa (10/5): Amazing Stay! - This property was top notch in every category, Comfort and space, amenities, and the VIEW!!! The location was perfect for us! We were just minutes from the Quirang Walk, Old Man of Storr, and other gorgeous viewpoints on the northern part of the isle. Staffin has two small grocery stores. The Hungry Gull is a popular place for take away or eat in breakfast and lunch. If Portree is on your itinerary, it is only a 30 min drive. The hostess was welcoming, offered helpful tips, and suggested places to visit that we hadn’t been aware of. Don’t hesitate to book this incredible gem!!! If we get the chance to return, we are definitely booking here again.

The host is an awesome person, she met us and gave us a lot of tips and advices. The room is actually a whole apartment for yourself. Very well manteined and you can see she was very careful when building Skye Stays. If you're looking for a place to stay with top confort in Isle of Skye, don't look anywhere else and book here immediately! Nothing, everything was perfect!

- Peng (10/5): Best choice - Tricia is very nice and helpful, we got many knowledge about Isle of Skye and Scotland from her. The room face to the sea, you could enjoy sunrise in your room. The room is very clean, huge living/kitchen area with comfort bedroom. Washing machine is helpful for us. The location is great, 5 mins drive to Mealt Falls, 10 mins to Quiraing. I will not spend time to choose my stay if I back to Isle of Skye, Skye Stays is best choice. Tips: 1. The best way to Neist Point is passing Quiraing. 2. Quiraing is very close to Skye Stays, but the road condition is not good, you must drive very slow and careful, Sat Nav will tell you 1~2 mins is enough - in fact you need 8~10 mins with several times stop to take photo. Nothing.

The apartment (ex sheep stable) was just recently renovated completely, super modern, much space, up to 4 people could spend a week there easily. kitchen-living-room connected, bath super clean and big, hot water immediatelly, full equipped kitchen, bedroom big and comfortable. the view is just amazin. perfect spot to start journey all over skye, hiking, beach, walking, by bus or rental car, just wonderful .The sunrise over the valley and the see is simply beautiful. big windows to enjoy all of it. We just loved it! quite expensive, but we saved the money for dinner by cooking ourselves, so in the end more or less that same if you stay in a hotel and go out for dinner (100 pounds + 100 pounds).

The owner have thought of all of the details therefore you will find in the apartment everything you need for a comfortable stay. Definitely recommended !!! The only minus is that the the photos do not reflect how nice and cozy this place is :)

- Rachael (10/5): I want to come back! - Skye is just magical! The host, Tricia, contacted me beforehand with helpful directions and was even there to greet me on arrival. She was so lovely and gave me a tour of the place and introduced me to her incredibly cute dogs! The apartments are brand new, so they're super clean, very well equipped and I could have lived on the sofas they were so comfortable! The shower is HUGE, I could have lived in there too! I wish I had stayed longer to explore Skye more, and I would definitely stay here again I couldn't steal the pups!

Leaving the door open at night caused alot of flies to come in, took us a while to get rid of them, but it was kinda our fault for leaving the door open at night.

- Ying (10/5): Cozy room with beautiful views near Quiraing - I recently stayed at Skye Stay and had a fantastic experience! The room was cozy with a beautiful mountain view, and the location is perfect, being so close to the Quiraing. Everything was clean and tidy, and the new furniture added a nice touch. Tracia was incredibly nice and a great host, making sure we had everything we needed. I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and will definitely visit again!

It's close to the Quiraing, so if that is part of your itinerary then it's a good location as well. Liked almost everything about it. Just that the location is far from Portree so food options are going to be limited nearby. There are a couple of restaurants nearby though. If you need variety in food or want to buy anything else then it's a 30 mins drive from here to Portree.
