• Assia (10/5): - Ali was an amazing host. The house is beautiful, and really gives you the vibe of a marocan home stay and Ali is ready to help you out with whatever you need. We had already booked a desert tour elsewhere but hearing about Ali's camel trek we regret not having talked to him before. The house is impeccable and dinner and breakfast were amazing. Super recommend as your stay in mhamid before wondering into the desert.

• Patrick (10/5): Merci Ali pour ton accueil et ta générosité - Ali nous a très bien accueilli avec thé et petits biscuits. Le logement, très propre et avec salle de bain était parfait. Les lits confortables. Ali propose aussi des séjours dans le désert et nous avons passé 3 jours fantastiques dans le désert pour un prix correct. Le 1ier jour randonnée accompagnée de dromadaires avec une nuit sous tente dans le désert (nos 2 guides étaient très accueillants et nous avons beaucoup échangé), puis le 2ième jour avec Ali nous avons rejoint Erg Chegaga avec un campement fixe et tout le confort, le 3ième jour retour en 4x4 à M'Halid. Une expérience inoubliable que je recommande à tous. Ali est très gentil et à coeur de nous faire découvrir le désert et sa région. Tout était parfait. C'était les moments les plus forts de mon voyage.

• Sven (10/5): - Dieses Hotel ist eine Oase in der Oase. Hätte nicht gedacht, so eine schöne Unterkunft in Mhamid zu finden. Die Gastgeberin mit ihren kleinen Kindern ist überaus freundlich und höflich. Ich bedauere fast, dass wir nur 1 Nacht als Übergang zu unserer Wüstenwanderung geblieben sind.

Room was very good nice communal areas .The host has lots of local family and arranged a amazing trip into the desert with wild camping sleeping under amazing stars This Dar is still work in progress the parts that are finished are excellent but some areas are a bit raw.

• camille (9/5): Une très bonne adresse à Mhamid, excellent rapport qualité prix. - Ali notre hôte était aux petits soins, toujours soucieux de notre satisfaction, que ce soit au sein de la maison d'hôtes, à table, ou lors de l'excursion organisée pour nous dans l'erg chegaga. C'est un très bon conducteur et un très bon guide. La cuisine est simple et savoureuse, préparée par sa mère qui vit juste à côté. Nous avons aussi apprécié l'excellente communication en amont de notre arrivée et la transparence quand au prix des excursions et extras, aucune mauvaise surprise ni de frais cachés. La connexion Wi-Fi était parfaite.

• irina (10/5): Great place, all new, excellent breakfast - Brand-new place set up and run by a very nice young couple. Tasteful room, nice bath, comfortable big bed, A/C. Super quiet. Easy to find, parking within meters. Excellent breakfast with a Berber omelet! You don’t even get that at high-end places. Recommended.

• Elise (9/5): Allez-y les yeux fermés ! - Ali a été un hôte très agréable et chaleureux, les lieux sont magnifiques, (et en développement!) La chambre est spacieuse et équipée, la terrasse est top pour le petit déjeuner. Les lits sont grands, la salle de bain aussi (une odeur un peu désagréable s'en dégage mais cela vient des canalisations et ne dépend pas tellement du logement en tant que tel). La rue est très calme et proche du centre. L'eau est chaude pour l'hiver et une clim' est disponible dans la chambre et les serviettes sentent bon la lessive.

Es war richtig entspannend und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Alice hat sich unglaublich gut um uns gekümmert! Ali bietet auch Touren in die Wüste an, die man direkt bei ihm buchen kann! Sehr empfehlenswert!

Ready for time. Its not easy to eat in this way in Mhamid. 4 I also recommend not to book tight your stay. First book one night in Mhamid and give yourself a space for trips to the night in the desert. The host, born Nomad can organise such a trip. 5 towels, but no soap. 6 W arm even in Winter December No soap but I do not mind it too much.

• Lucas (10/5): - Bien , toit le monde vous dira qu’il n’y a pas de restaurant et vous propose des tajines à 200 dh mais si vous chercher bien dans le coin vous pouvez manger pour rien
• Kévin (8/5): - Ali a été très accueillant, l'endroit est très joli et les repas délicieux. Il vous proposera de faire une excursion d'une journée et une nuit dans le désert pour 800 dh par personne (en supplément de notre deuxième nuit que nous pensions passer à M'hamid également). Nous vous conseillons donc de ne réserver qu'une nuit au village et payer ensuite pour l'excursion et la nuit dans le désert. Cependant cela valait vraiment le coup, le camp loué par Ali est idéalement situé au pied d'une des plus grandes dunes du désert de Chegaga, ce qui vous permettra d'admirer un des plus coucher de soleil possible, ainsi qu'une nuit étoilée splendide. Le personnel vous emmènera en 4x4 à travers le désert (2h de route et une belle variété de paysages), il vous préparera repas et petit déjeuner, petit feu pour passer la soirée et peut être même un peu de musique (pour nous à défaut d'être joli c'était très drôle 🤣 ils ne savaient pas très bien jouer ni chanter mais la chanson Vamos à la playa version touareg on s'y attendait pas 😅 moment épique). De toute façon la nature environnante fera toute la magie n'hésitez pas à vivre l'expérience. Nous aurions aimé avoir une réduction sur la nuit dans le désert étant donné que nous avons payé en même temps la nuit à M'Hamid. 1600dh pour 2 personnes c'est le prix proposé par la plupart des guides.

I really appreciate the owner Ali, he is a very helpful and amazing host, which cooks amazing food and takes care of anything that you need! He organized and guided my trip to the desert with both camel trekking and 4x4, which was an unforgettable and magical experience i will forever remember. I messaged ahead during an 11 hour bus trip to say I was hungry and within minutes of arrival I was presented with an amazing tagine. The courtyard where I ate was pretty and atmospherically lit. The room and en-suite bathroom were immaculate. Breakfast this morning was the perfect end to my stay, which I wish could have been for longer. I would thoroughly recommend Dar Nomads to anybody looking for a quaint, rustic and authentic place to stay.
• David (10/5): The perfect place to stay when visiting the desert - Dar Nomads is a family operation about a block from the main road and a 15 minute walk from the CTM bus stop. It’s run by Ali, who can also arrange trips to the desert and dunes. He can do anything from day trips to various multi-day excursions, for one person or larger groups. My breakfast in the garden included a delicious omelette prepared by Ali’s sister Maryam. She also prepared supper on request. Ali’s brother Mohammad took me on a desert tour that included tea with Tuareg nomads, an oasis and lunch at the Chegaga dunes. All three of them are friendly, helpful and flexible. My room was very clean with a beautifully tiled bathroom. I highly recommend it.

The owner, Ali is very kind, attentive, and hospitable person, who makes you feel really welcome. A 4-day trek into the desert organized by him was an unforgettable journey with an authentic experience of nomadic life!

The room is like a bunker where you can’t hear anything and it’s dark even in the middle of the day so we slept so well there. It’s very clean and smells nice. Ali is perhaps the best chef of all Morocco 😄 his tagine with plums and beef was delicious.

• Moore (10/5): Best Desert Experience - OMG, what an amazing place to stay! Within minutes of arrival I felt like a long awaited friend returned for a visit. Mohammed & Ali had tea and cookies out before I had time to set my bags down and check the room. Room was awesome! 2 beds, very comfy. Clean sheets, warm blanket. Personal/ private Bathroom was fantastic! The interior space was comfy with big couch and coffee table; a small table n chair as well. Outdoor courtyard was even better. Cool little garden in the sun then a great covered area with couches, tables and chairs to enjoy the outside without cooking in the sun. He's an amazing chef and even got up at 5:30am to cook us breakfast when we had an early bus to catch. He even gave us a ride to the bus station. Ali, the host, made us feel like family from the start. The food was delicious, beds and bathrooms were clean, the interior had a nice charm, and the nights were peaceful.
