There was a cooker that didn't work, no microwave. This was shocking because that's why I stay in an apartment. No Microwave, No cooker! Same type of Breakfast everyday, very boring.

• Hugo Araujo (7/5): 4 night stay in Istanbul - The facilities at Rusel Park are modern, clean, and generally very comfortable, making for a pleasant stay overall. The rooms and common areas are well maintained, and the environment is quiet and relaxing. The service side leaves room for improvement. Staffing levels appear to be quite limited, which impacts responsiveness and overall guest experience. Breakfast, in particular, is an area where expectations are not met. It is advertised from 9:00am, but in practice often starts late (sometimes after 9:15am). The quality is also rather poor, and the hygiene standards are concerning — bread is handed directly without the use of gloves or tongs. In its current state, it is advisable to skip the hotel breakfast altogether and instead opt for nearby cafés or a supermarket for a better and more reliable start to the day. In summary, while the accommodation itself is solid, operational and service improvements are needed to align with guest expectations.

The weather was bitterly cold but we were warm. The location was dismal. A car would be essential as there were minimal local shops. Plenty on restaurants but they were noisy and the one we went to served us an inedible pizza... not a difficult meal, normally. The room was poorly equipped. The oven was not working. There was no plug for the kitchen sink, nor dish cloth, tea towel or detergent. No laundry detergent, nor were there any shops within walking distance to buy some. The hotel's restaurant and bar were closed so we were forced out into the rain only to have a horrible time at a local restaurant.

• Gulalay Sodaba (5/5): Great Rooms, Very Disappointing Breakfast - We stayed at Hotel Russell Park Residence in Istanbul. The room itself was very good – clean, tidy, modern and exactly as described. We were happy with the room. Unfortunately, the breakfast was extremely disappointing. Instead of having breakfast in a restaurant downstairs, a plate was simply sent to our room. There were no drinks provided at all – no tea, no coffee, no juice. The bread was very dry and tasted like it came straight from the freezer. The boiled eggs were overcooked and grey inside. The cheese did not taste fresh, and we did not feel comfortable eating it. The tomatoes did not appear properly washed. Overall, the breakfast looked and tasted very poor. It is a shame, because the room was nice, but the breakfast quality really needs serious improvement.

The location was excellent and made everything easily accessible. Housekeeping did a great job, and I appreciated the cleanliness throughout my stay. Overall, it was a very pleasant experience, and I would definitely consider staying again. The only small point was the breakfast. It was good and convenient since it was delivered to the room, but I think it would be even better if it were served in a common area like the lobby or a dining space. That would create a nicer atmosphere and a more enjoyable experience. Overall, it was still a pleasant stay.

• Davoud (5/5): Not happy - a young lady at the reception was very kind and proffessional but the last day when check out, there was a gentleman and asked him to call a taxi to go to the airport, he was making delay and pushing to have his friend or anyone claiming that this is only company working woith hotel for airport services and this taxi could pick me up in 20 -30 minutes which was late for me and he was not willing to call a city taxi or provide me the phone number that I could call taxi since he was expecting to earn commission. Finally after lots of discussions, I got a city taxi but he spoke turkish with taxi telling him how much to charge me and how much commission taxi should give hime, also noticed that he lied to the taxi driver saying that he has got me approval that taxi shouls charge me extra and pay him commission. I was prepared to give him tip as I usually do, but I did not since his behavior was unaccepted. He left me a very bad experience of this hotel and i will never try this hotel again.

It was the first place that i stay that gives you a small plate of food for breakfast edhe you can it eat it only in your room, were you have no table or chair. The staff on the check in took forever to make check in.

Misleading description of kitchen facilities The listing stated that the unit included “Kitchenware”, “Oven”, “Stovetop”, “Dining area”, and other items suitable for self-catering. In reality, there were no saucepans, no frying pan, and no general kitchenware available. There was only some basic cutlery. Items advertised such as kitchenware, minibar, iron, cleaning products, clothes rack, and drying rack for clothing were either missing or not as described. As I booked this accommodation on the basis that I would be able to cook and self-cater, this was a significant inconvenience and a clear misrepresentation of the facilities. No instructions for the cooker / hob There were no instructions provided on how to operate the cooker. When I asked for help, a member of staff had to come to the room, and it took them almost an hour to figure out how to turn it on. This further supports that the property is not properly set up for guests to use the kitchen as advertised. Room cleaning not carried out I left a notification/request for the room to be cleaned, but no one came to clean the room. This falls below basic expectations for guest service and cleanliness. Unhelpful response from reception When I raised the issue about the missing facilities, the reception staff simply told me to “look at the pictures on Booking.com” rather than addressing the fact that the written list of facilities does not match what is actually provided. This was dismissive and did not resolve the problem in any way. Lack of local knowledge and support Staff at the property were unable to provide basic information about nearby activities, shops, or things to do in the area. While this alone might not warrant a complaint, it contributed to the overall poor standard of service. Overall, the property did not provide the facilities and standard of accommodation that were advertised on Booking.com, and this materially affected my stay.

• Alberto Darío (1/5): Peor experiencia en turquía - We frequently stay in many hotels during our business trips, and this is by far the worst we have ever stayed in. The first point, which is perhaps anecdotal, is that the room has no place to put the suitcase, nor is there a place for towels, or even a desk to sit at... in other words, you better be tired enough just to get into bed. Out of the two rooms we have rented, the TV in one of them is not working. After requesting a repair, it was still the same when we returned tonight. And the cleaning? They haven't entered either of the two rooms to clean them... I've stayed in Airbnbs with better services... Yesterday, one of the rooms ran out of toilet paper... Today, obviously, since they haven't entered the room, they haven't restocked coffee or water, as all hotels in Istanbul usually do. What about the breakfast? We had to ask to be allowed to take it in the lobby because at least there we have a table. I don't know if we'll be able to eat it there tomorrow or if we'll have anything to drink. I am writing this directly to you because the experience is being so disastrous that I think it's better not to even write public reviews. By the way, I've been trying to sleep for an hour and haven't been able to due to a tremendous noise accompanied by a tremor, and I don't know where it's coming from.

Locatia este accesibila si poziționată într-o zona buna In primul rand nu au respectat cerințele mele de a avea 2 camere cu cate 2 locuri. Am primit o camera cu pat matrimonial si o camera cu o canapea foarte incomoda si foarte tare. Nu am avut lenjerie si am fost nevoiți sa sunam pentru a cere la recepție. In fiecare dimineața eram contactați telefonic pentru micul dejun care se servește doar in camera si este de calitate slaba pentru un hotel de 4 stele. Ulterior nu au mai venit sa ridice farfuriile de la micul dejun decât după ce i-am contactat. Am rămas fără hârtie igienica la toaleta si nu au adus alta in schimb Nu au schimbat lenjeria si prosoapele de la baie in cele 3 nopți pe care le-am petrecut acolo. In ultima zi am așteptat 45 min pentru a primi micul dejun si nu am mai putut aștepta. Am plecat fără sa servim micul dejun si am mâncat in alta parte. Cand am făcut rezervare am cerut camera cu vedere spre oraș si am primit cu vedere către alte clădiri. Nu merita pretul cerut. Este un hotel de cel mult 3 stele.

• Ibrahim (6/5): This is a confused place, with good potential, but lacks proper management and quality procedures - This is a furnished apartment place that is relatively new. The one bedroom apartment I rented was spacious, the furniture new, and clean when I checked in. Spacious parking. This is a confused place. It is not a hotel, and is not well served as a furnished apartment. The place was not cleaned during the entire stay, there are no clothes hooks at all in the entire apartment, the amenities (soap and shower gel and shampoo) were of poor quality. The gym is open from 10:00 to 7:00 only, and at times it was closed even during these hours. One cannot use the gym, which is small but reasonable, without prior reservation, which is unheard of for a hotel. There was a kettle but no coffee mugs, only teacups. As a furnished apartment, one would expect a minimum of cooking set, but there was only one pot that was dirty.

• daskalakh (9/5): Θα ξανάρθω σίγουρα είναι τέλεια!!! - Ήταν ολοκαίνουργιο το διαμέρισμα με ωραία διακόσμηση ,πεντακάθαρο,σε πολύ ωραία περιοχή δίπλα σε πάρκο με μια λίμνη!!!Είχε πολύ πράσινο ,είχε πάρκινγκ που λειτουργούσε όλο το εικοσιτετράωρο μεγάλο αβαντάζ.Κάθε πρωί μας έφερναν πρωινό στο δωμάτιο!Είχε πλυντήριο σιδερώστρα σίδερο,δεν είχε απλώστρα την ζήτησα από την ρεσεψιόν και μου έφεραν αμέσως .Το προσωπικό ήταν ευγενικό και πολύ εξυπηρετικό.Σίγουρα θα το προτιμήσω σε μελλοντικό ταξίδι στην Κωνσταντινούπολη!!’ Γενικά η διαμονή ήταν άριστη απλώς θα πω κάποιες λεπτομέρειες που θα μπορούσαν να βελτιωθούν!!!Δεν έγινε καθαρισμός στο δωμάτιο έπρεπε να το ζητήσω ,ωστόσο ζήτησα πετσέτες και μαξιλαροθήκες μου της άλλαξαν .Οι κυρίες που έκαναν την καθαριότητα στον όροφο ήταν ευγενέστατες και γλυκύτατες!!!Και ο κύριος που έφερνε το πρωινό!!Ενα ακόμα μείον είναι ότι ενώ υπάρχει ηλεκτρική κουζίνα αποροφητηρας ηλεκτρικός φούρνος δεν είναι συνδεδεμένα 😔.Το ξενοδοχείο είναι μακριά από το κέντρο έχει πολύ κίνηση αλλά αυτό το γράφω για κάποιον που θα ήθελε πληροφορίες για το πώς να μετακινηθεί.Υπάρχει ένα εμπορικό (Avm Park Marmara)εκεί μπροστά περνάει Metrobüs και με αλλαγή σε tramvay πηγαίνεις πολύ εύκολα στο κέντρο.Υπάρχουν και λεωφορεία απλώς τα μέσα σταθερής τροχιάς πηγαίνουν με σταθερή ταχύτητα !

Towels were not provided (we were told to take them from the room). The sauna was out of order — when we asked to turn it on, they said to come later, but even then it still wasn’t working.”
