Guest Reviews
- Melissa (9/5): Beautiful, relaxing, bring a fan. - The view is Spectacular, it is Splendidly quiet at night. Clean and comfortable. Nicely appointed. Plenty of seasonings, coffee, and beginning necessities. It was too warm inside to sleep. The thermostat wouldn't go lower than 72° and the upstairs was consistantly 75°-78°over night. There was a portable air conditioner, however there was no exaust hose to vent the hot exaust outside. So could only use the fan function. The lower level stair rail was broken, as was the back of one of the dining table chairs.
- Richard (6/5): Fun scenic sometimes frustrating - View Close to Pigeon Forge Empty propane tanks Very dirty windows Entry way porch neede cleaning BbQ grill was filthy not usable Owner made point that not a hotel so we made the best thinking he didn’t want to be bothered Then he counters we should have complained Seemed typical of absentee owner
- Emily (10/5): A wonderful & relaxing trip for our large family. - My husband recently deployed & I decided last minute to take our 6 daughters (infant to 16) on a getaway trip. This stay was beyond wonderful!
This cabin was perfectly located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg for us to easily get to all of the things we wanted to do!
The owner was promptly responsive to any message I sent.
I requested a “crib” as it was an option on booking. The owner messaged me to let me know they did not have one but would be willing to purchase before my arrival if needed. I did not see that message until after we arrived, and there was a brand new playpen waiting for us🥹
There is so much space in this cabin! 2 bedrooms with large beds and 3 pullout couches throughout the place. It was perfect for my kids to spread out!
My kids loved the hot tub, pool table, air hockey, and fire pit. The view was beautiful.
I noticed some one else’s comment about parking.. we brought both a mini van and full sized SUV and had no issues. Yes, it was slim and we had to park right in front of each other, but that seems to be the normal in these mountain homes. This was one thing that made me nervous reading reviews- but we had zero problems between me & my 16 year old driver.
My top concerns taking a trip by myself with 6 kids (one being 8 weeks old) were safety, comfort, and cleanliness. This cabin met all of these expectations 😊 No complaints
- Brandon (9/5): It was pretty good - Scenic Driveway
- Fuentes (10/5): - The view is amazing, lots of fun games and amenities for the family. The host is very communicative and easy to get in touch with! The hot tub is absolutely amazing! No negatives it was perfect.
- Samantha (7/5): We loved where we stayed , maybe just update a few things. But overall, VERY HAPPY with the lodge& host!! Would def - The Location was great. It was very roomy & comfy. The host was super responsive to messages & got things done when asked.
Internet & tv options -excellent. We felt safe. The hide-away beds need better mattress. Stock more towels & wash rags. The entry way -had lots of leaves, maybe just keep those more clear.
- Jody (10/5): Amazing thanksgiving get away! - Loved everything about this property! Central location! Comfortable beds and clean! Nothing this was perfect! Great views! Quiet paradise!
- Nick (5/5): A cabin I would pass on knowing what I do now. - The views were great. Bed was comfortable. Christmas tree was a nice touch. Hot tub worked well. Stocked coffee. The drive up to the cabin is really fun. The cabin had a lot wrong with it. The downstairs toilet was missing its attaching hardware. It was completely loose. The fixtures in the bathroom were falling off, especially the toilet paper holder. The downstairs shower is plumbed incorrectly. Hot is cold and cold is hot. This could cause a major injury, as the hot water is scalding. The wicker furniture outside is falling apart. The couches have tears and holes in them in the living room. The countertop in the kitchen is torn off and held on with tape. The floor is broken to the downstairs. Missing balusters. The handrail is very loose. These are just the issues I remember off the top of my head.
I really hate to point all of this out, but potentially visitors should know these things before paying an absolute premium for the property. We have stayed at many cabins in the Smokey Mountains, and this one disappointed the most, especially at the price point.

- Athen (10/5): Magical and relaxing place and quiet. - Very roomy! Easy to get in and out! I have learned to back in on this trip. Everything was beautiful!
- Emily (8/5): Very good -
- Akif (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ralph (10/5): Almost Perfect getaway cabin - Location was perfect right between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The cabin was beautiful, comfortable and had the best views of the mountains and had all the amenities we wanted. The perfect place for all ages. The cabin was very clean and well kept. The parking in front of the cabin is a bit tight for a large SUV, it will fit, but it will be the only vehicle parking there. Maybe a second vehicle if it's a small car, it will be real close to the road, but there is very little traffic on this road.
