• Roman (10/5): - Понравилось всё, хорошее место положение, чистый, просторный номер. Отличные хозяева, всегда готовы помочь. Особенно хочу отметить завтрак, Шведский стол, да разнообразием не блистал, но всегда найдешь что поесть. Очень удобно до 10:30 всегда можно поесть. Что бы по завтракать нужно пройти минут 15 не спеша, это отель принадлежащий тому же хозяину, это дает Вам право пользоваться лежаками, полотенцами, бассейном. Местоположение на пляже этого отеля самое лучшее, меньше всего волн, из за близости рифа. Так что мы всем остались довольны.

• Jessica (10/5): Amazing stay, fantastic staff, cute monkeys - The family and staff were all so lovely. The hotel was really cozy. We loved how huge the room & bathroom was. The beds were insanely comfortable with good pillows and super soft sheets. They don’t have blankets, just a sheet but I was able to get an extra sheet to double up with as I just like to sleep with the A/C on and be under a heavier blanket. The wifi worked good. They have large TVs but they aren’t smart TVs. They do have a cable box with some English channels like kids programs and tlc and discovery channel as well as a couple of English movie channels. The concrete couch area was surprisingly comfortable! The A/C worked really well, there was always hot water. The rooms are always super clean. It was great to be able to watch the quiet/shy monkeys daily from the balcony- I was able to leave clothes drying and the monkeys were uninterested in trying to take our stuff that we left outside. The breakfast at the sister hotel/restaurant was truly delicious- breakfast ends at 10am. I will add that if you wanted to try the Sri Lankan breakfast you are supposed to pre order it as they never had it readily available. There was always plenty of lounge chairs at the sister hotel and never had trouble getting a spot. The only thing I think could use improvement is that It’s a little insconspicious at first on how to get into the hotel as its entrance is a large wood door entering through a tall concrete wall so you can’t actually see if your in the right place or if it’s private property etc. there is a sign close by but not directly on the entrance door. Cars are also not able to get “in” the property but can drop you off out front of the wooden doors in which you will need to let yourself in.

• Anna (9/5): Génial ! - Chambre très grande et très confortable avec balcon privé énorme. On voit souvent des singes dans les arbres. Central mais pas trop bruyant. Douche chaude. L’Accès aux transats et piscine de l’hôtel en bord de plage est un énorme plus. Ils ont une chienne trop mignonne et pleine d’énergie. Clim qui pouvait être bruyante, mais on n’en avait pas besoin le soir. Une option petit déjeuner devrait être incluse dans le prix.
• Tami26 (10/5): Semplicemente meraviglioso!!!!! - Struttura bellissima, Camere enormi, bagno spaziale e balcone molto grande con divanetto e tavolino con sedie. Ubicato in centro, sulla via principale dei locali e negozi, ma non c'è rumore, anzi si sente spesso una piacevolissima mucica del locale davanti che non disturba affatto; è a 800 mt dall'altro kingfisher per la colazione in spiaggia, dove forniscono anche teli mare e lettini. Nulla, era tutto perfetto!!!

• Lydia (10/5): And incredible oasis. We never wanted to leave - Everything! This place was an oasis in a busy area. The location was great, the staff were incredible, and the room was insane value for money. It was so big and spacious and comfortable. The balcony was lovely and you could see monkeys, squirrels and birdlife. Also - the dog Luna stole our hearts! We wish we had longer here. Nothing, it was perfect.

• Lucy (10/5): Comfortable and luxurious Homestay! - In an excellent location - right between the main beach street and beach. The property itself is beautiful and feels very homely. The room was huge, clean and had some lovely features (huge bed, spacious room, a TV), the bathroom was very clean and felt luxurious! The room also had a beautiful spacious balcony. Nothing!

• Anna (10/5): - Kingfisher is not even a hotel - it's a piece of home far from home. It's beautiful, cozy, and stylish (which is rare for Unawatuna). The house is lovely, and the owners are wonderful. The triple room is huge, the mattresses are excellent, and the balcony is large and cozy. There are no issues with hot water, and the room service is excellent. Special thanks to the hostess for her warmth and care. We look forward to returning again.

Полное ощущение уединения на большом балконе, закрытом от глаз деревьями и растениями. В пешей доступности океан, бесконечное множество магазинчиков, ресторанов и ждущих тук-тукеров. Сам номер идеален: нет ничего, что хотелось бы улучшить. Огромный размер номера, огромная ванная комната. Очень приятная управляющая семья и их собака Луна. Хочется вернуться на Шри-Ланку только ради того, чтобы снова пожить на этой прекрасной вилле. Все было идеально
• andrey (10/5): Спасибо за прекрасное отношение к своим клиентам. Было очень приятно - Чудесный отель, одновременно уютный и домашний и в самом центре жизни Унаватуны. Все как в сказке, действительно каждый день приходила семья обезьянок, которых можно кормить, на соседних крышах прилетал павлин, собака Луна, вообще уникальная и добрая собака, которая встречает всех гостей как родных. Просторный номер, уборка через день, нам очень понравилось и мы обязательно вернемся. Спасибо за гостеприимство и заботу о ваших клиентах. Вокруг очень много ресторанов, не шумно, если рядом играет музыка, в 21.00 все заканчивается. Расположение очень удобное.
• Arina (10/5): Спасибо за великолепный отдых! - Просторный чистый номер, полностью соответствующий фотографиям на сайте. Гостеприимный персонал, дружелюбные и очень открытые хозяева отеля сделали все, чтобы наш отпуск прошел максимально комфортно. Отличный интернет в номере, который ни разу не подвел. Отличное расположение относительно пляжа, ресторанов и магазинов. При этом в номере тихо, несмотря на близость к оживленной улице и ресторанам с живой музыкой. Отдельная любовь - пушистые друзья виллы: жизнерадостная собака Луна, нежная кошка Лили и застенчивая семья черных обезьян. Минусов не обнаружено :)

• Ursala (9/5): Fabulous place to stay - Fantastic staff, my partner had a medical emergency in the middle of the night and the owner Duminda went above and beyond, sorted out an ambulance and was extremely helpful. The property itself is lovely, beautiful big rooms and fantastic tub and balcony. Not really terrible but the one downside is that you have to walk down to the sister property on the beach which is about 800 meters down the road for breakfast. But it’s not a difficult walk and we just stayed there and enjoyed the sun beds for the rest of the day.
• Janet (6/5): A great property with a lot of potential to be fabulous, lacking warmth and information. - Comfortable bed, good sized bedroom and bathroom, lovely garden with visiting monkeys No information from staff, not very welcoming, wasn’t advertised that you had to go to their other property for breakfast - I only found this out when I asked what time breakfast was and they didn’t know what I was talking about. Two staff on arrival, one understood very little English the other understood none. Didn’t appear to be expecting us to arrive, had difficulty finding our booking, had to contact the other property to come and explain about breakfast and to give us a chitty to order our breakfast and take with us the following morning. Breakfast below standard, tasteless, was a set menu which gave option of fruit juice, tea or coffee, eg. if you wanted fruit juice and tea you had to pay extra for a tiny cup of tea not even a pot. Shower drain needed clearing as it didn’t drain at all well.
• Louise (8/5): Good overall - Lovely rooms, very spacious with balconies, big bed and huge bathroom. Very central location right next to the Main Street. Breakfast - it is at the sister hotel which is a good 10min walk away. This was not made clear upon check in and I had to ask. The dog Luna is lovely, such a friendly little pup however, each morning we were woken by her barking at the monkeys in the trees. One morning this was 4am.

• Lucia (10/5): Awesome stay - The room and the hotel were absolutely amazing. The room and bathroom were huge,it was nice and cosy. They even prepared a little surprise for our honeymoon, we were so grateful. The communication was good and the staff in the Bamboo Garden Villa was pleasant and welcoming. We also loved the dog running around. Breakfast was tasty and we did not mind the walk to another hotel. These are not really cons, more like room for improvement, we were really happy in the hotel: - Breakfast is not a buffet, but you can choose from western or Sri Lankan breakfast. Sri Lankan were not available, while we were staying. Western were tasty, but basically the same, so if you are staying for longer time, it could be monotone. No water included for breakfast, but you can pay extra to get water. -The sunbeds are limited as well as the umbrellas, so it might happen, you will not get one. - Staff in the Kingfisher hotel were not as friendly as in the Bamboo Villa Garden, maybe there was language barrier, we were not sure.

We didn't know Breakfast was at the sister hotel which was a 10 minute walk away. Staff seemed unprofessional and not always available.

Was spotlessly clean as well. Location is perfect - straight out the gate onto the main street yet the property remained quiet. Luna the puppy was so cute and friendly too.

The room was wonderful, clean, and perfect! Excellent property and very convenient to all the restaurants and shops. I visited their Restaurant , Kingfisher Unawatuna Hotel. Which is a 2mins walk. Food was Excellent. Lobsters, Crab, Oysters, Etc. was fresh from the boat! Unawatuna Beach was out the world. Had a amazing time in Sri Lanka! Nothing to complain , Just perfect and a great holiday experience at Kingfisher Unawatuna.
