- McMurray (10/5): - Was really close to town. We ended up having the whole house which was nice
- Mari Elizabeth (1/5): We didnt enjoy staying in an unhygienic , smelly environment - Breakfast wasn’t included in rate
Only positive was the host was a pleasant man
However the accommodation was very disappointing & unacceptable for the price paid When host arrived with keys to admit us , the house was very cold , heating was turned off!
We are OAP’s with health issues & need heating more than most , especially in November!
Kettle wasn’t working , ( host did bring another ) we had no running hot water apart from shower
No wifi unless you paid
Decor was dull & dingy , outdated & looked like it hadn’t been upgraded in years , or even painted!
But worst of all the house smelt stale & damp - not clean- especially the bathroom which was filthy!
We had to use bleach to clean the toilet pan before use
I suffer from asthma & another lung disease so cold houses can make me unwell
Front of house looks unoccupied & neglected with broken paving , litter in garden etc , an eyesore
We were attending a family funeral & hotel was overbooked so we were left with short notice to find accommodation & had little choice , not many places were available
This house should never have been passed as suitable to let
We aren’t looking for a full refund , but my husband & I feel we are entitled to a reduction in the amount we paid We’ve paid far less for a night in 4 star luxury hotel clean & warm with breakfast
We would not recommend Gala House to anyone , sorry to say Everything could have been much better
- Timothy (1/5): Fraud - The place doesn't exist The place doesn't exist
- Emma Knight (8/5): - I enjoyed the location of this property. Although it is in a very Protestant area, we had no problem getting a fonacab taxi to our event in The Woodville which is apparently a more catholic area. The area was very quiet, no drunkards running about or anyone causing chaos. It did it's job. We only needed somewhere for one night to sleep after the event so really we didn't need much. The aspect of staying in a house with individual rooms was slightly jarring but I think we got lucky and we're the only people staying.
- Joan (1/5): - The advert said private bathroom. It's a shared bathroom. Very tatty and unclean property
Owner was rude and very aggressive. I felt unsafe as I was travelling alone
I didn't stay and left immediately.
I asked him to refund the night and to date he's refused and so has Booking ,
Place was shabby, the owner aggressive, look for somewhere else

- Mpho (7/5): It was good overall - Great value for money. There were other guests in the house. I was not sure what belonged to the house and what belonged to the other guests There were no clear instructions about they key to access the property. The other guests were trying to block me from the house. I had to phone the owner
- magwere (8/5): Good Value for Money in a Handy Location - Gala House is conveniently located, only about a 10–15 minute walk from the station and close to local amenities. The location was easy to find and I didn’t struggle at all. The house was clean and tidy, and most importantly, very affordable compared to other nearby places. Great location near the station, clean and tidy house, and very affordable compared to other places.

- Aislin (10/5): Good stay will be back. - Very easy check in and very helpful staff
- Liam (10/5): - Pretty much perfect - I appreciate being allowed to drop my bag off early. It was maybe a little too far from the station, but that's being a bit picky.
- Martin (6/5): A once in a lifetime experience. - It was an Air BnB, as in keys were left in a lock box and I let myself in and out. The room was clean and a comfortable bed. The house is located in a Unionist part of town, which is fine if you don't let anyone hear your southern Irish accent.
I think €80 is a bit expensive for an AirBnB in that part of town.

- Mandlenkosi (6/5): Value for money and very convenient for accessing Craigavon area - Very Friendly and helpful staff., and reassured me all throughout my stay
- Margaret (7/5): Not what I expected but was suitable - Quiet location, comfortable bed. Was suitable for my needs, Breakfast would have been nice, but coffee and biscuits were provided. Was nice to have the place to ourselves as the other room was booked by a friend.
- Alan (1/5): poor - everything listed is not true. only a shared bathroom massage table in front living room no tea or coffee towels not changed daily.
- Lisa (5/5): Passable - The location was ideal for where I wanted to stay. Whilst the single room appears to be the nicest, I feel that the cost compared to the double rooms is expensive. There was a fusty smell in the property and I feel it could be aired better.
