• simonvallas (7/5): Average quality with a good location - worth trying! - The pink building amazed us on the first sight Check-in process was very smooth Motorbike rental + tricycle port transfer - great services! Big comfortable bed First night the electricity kept cutting off all the time. The wifi was basically working all the time; however it is not very strong. For easy online work ok - but not if you want to watch videos or upload/download any big files. Loft mattress felt quite dirty and I think there was a mold on the pillow (no pillow cover).

• Odeline (10/5): - Nous avons adoré notre séjour à Gerste Inn. Nous sommes restés une semaine ! La chambre était parfaite, la salle de bain aussi. Nous avons loué un scooter avec l’hôtel, c’était très bien (env350p / jour). Le personnel était au petit soin ! Je recommande. Les autres personnes qui séjournaient au rez de chaussée était assez bruyantes le soir … mais cela n’a pas duré tous les soirs de la semaine, heureusement.

The owner went above and beyond for me - helping with scooter rental and even arranging the return of clothing I left behind, which was so kind. The facilities were excellent: hot showers with great pressure, AC, free drinking water, towel, soap and shampoo, and kitchen access. The location is very convenient, and it truly felt like a home away from home. Best hostel in Siqijor

• CHRISTOPHE (10/5): - Very good location, close to the beach, bars and restaurants. Comfortable and clean room , spacious, big bed, fast WiFi, strong A/C, mini fridge in the room, hot shower and strong water pressure. Best fare to book motorbike (after negotiation !) No breakfast proposed but very good and very cheap restaurant beside the guesthouse open 24h/24

Disponian de motos y servicio de lavanderia que fue super rápido y la ropa vino con buen olor y seca. Muy recomendable El aire estava super frio!!

• Simone (7/5): Un bon lieu dans San Juan mais très bruyants - Bien placé à San Juan, le lieu est très sympathique comme il est conçu mais notre expérience n’a pas été fabuleuse a cause de voisins extrêmement bruyants Les chambres sont séparées de petite cloison on entend tout ce qu’il se passe à côté !! Mauvaise expérience à cause de voisins de chambre très bruyants. Nous l’avons signalé la première nuit mais le personnel n’avait pas l’air de s’en inquiéter

• scott (8/5): - Good showers and good location friendly staff. There was a guy staying in the room that was constantly keeping you awake late at night and early in the morning, Cleary had mental health issues so I moved to another place.
• Baptiste (8/5): - Très bien situé au centre de San Juan, vous avez tout à proximité ! L'hostel peut vous organiser un tricycle depuis ou pour le port (ce sont les mêmes prix partout). Possibilité de faire une lessive. Salle de bain très propre. Peut être un peu bruyant
• Luisa (9/5): - Super zentrale Lage und trotzdem sehr ruhig. Sehr freundliches Personal - es wurde sich immer um unsere Anfragen gekümmert. Wir konnten Vorort einen Roller günstig mieten und haben auch ein Taxi zurück zum Hafen bekommen. Die Betten waren bequem und es war sauber im Zimmer. Wir hatten das 5-Bett-Zimmer zu 3., war ziemlich eng.

• Yogev (8/5): - מקום נחמד ונח, שרותים ומקלחת נקיים. צוות עובדים נחמד מאוד. יש 2 מקלחות אבל רק אחת מהם חמה והשנייה קרה. המיקום טוב אם יש לכם אופנוע, אם אתם הולכים ברגל אז המסעדות והברים נמצאים במרחק 17 דקות וללכת את זה ברגל יכול להיות מבאס.

• Thierry (9/5): - Très bien situé et plutôt agréable. Le scooter que j’ai loué sur place ( pas cher du tout) avait en revanche le porte téléphone cassé ce qui n’est pas pratique pour utiliser le GPS en déplacement.

• Duman (10/5): Great value, center of San Juan - Great location, room, bathrooms. They even provided a bar of soap and a little shampoo sachet. Rented a scooter too. Nice staff, friendly and warm. Kitchen is a bit meh, and common area not very cozy (just a few tables outside). But easily forgivable for all the advantages of the place.

• Kezia (9/5): Lovely stay, spacious room. - Great staff and good location with a few eateries around in walking distance. We did also hire a moped from Gerste which was well worth it so we could explore the wonderful island beyond where we could walk.

• Magdalena (5/5): Nie ma co oczekiwać cudów ale spędzić tam noc czy dwie można spokojnie - Było czysto, pościele były przyjemnie pachnące i mile w dotyku. Łóżko było wygodne. Było boczne, nocne światło, stoliki i kontakty łóżku. Wifi znośne w zależności od godziny. Łazienka ma przyjemny wystrój choć nie jest użytkowo dobrze pomyślana. Nie ma gdzie trzymać kosmetyków. Dostępna woda z baniaków to super dobra opcja. Lokalizacja jest super jak nie zależy komuś na tym żeby być bezpośrednio na plaży. Plaża jest naprawdę kilka kroków od hotelu. Dodatkowo jak nie masz skutera czy samochodu to miejsce jest super bo wszystko jest pod ręką. Pracownicy są bardzo przyjaźni i pomocni. Klimatyzacja nowa, cicha, bez zarzutu. Małe miejsce do siedzenia przed pokojem jest przyjemnym dodatkiem. Duży plus za miejsce do suszenia mokrych rzeczy na zewnątrz pokoju. Po przyjściu z plaży bardzo przydatne, super pomysł. Jest też małe miejsce wspólne do siedzenia, sporo roślin, prosto ale czysto i przyjemne. Mała lodówka w pokoju i czajnik ale bez dodatków typu herbata czy kawa w saszetce. Zarezerwowałam tam pokój bo miał być duży i przestronny. Dostałam pokój, który miał antresolę z materacami na górze. Nie potrzebowałam więcej miejsc do spania tylko więcej przestrzeni. Pokój był bardzo mały a dodatkowo miał zabrane miejsce na schody od antresoli. Kompletnie nie dla mnie. Tylko dlatego nie jestem zadowolona z tego pokoju. Ale jak ktoś dostanie duży, zgodny z opisem to moja opinia nie będzie ważna dla niego. Pokój był drugi od strony ulicy. Cały czas słychać hałas od głośnych motorów i trójek. Nie dało się tam w spokoju wcześniej zasnąć i pospać trochę dłużej niż do świtu przez ten hałas. Toaleta była cieknącą więc podłoga była ciągle mokra. Pod prysznicem były same nieprzydatne gadżety na trzymanie mydła czy szamponu. Wszystkie były zepsute więc trzeba trzymać kosmetyki na podłodze podczas brania prysznica. Ręczniki były stare i nieprzyjemne.

• olivier (10/5): - Un grand merci 😘, petit hôtel très bien placé, très bien entretenu, de bon goût, fonctionnel, une climatisation efficace et silencieuse, le balcon pour le petit déjeuner est parfait. Le personnel est à l'écoute et attentionné. Merci beaucoup pour l'attention spéciale que vous nous avez témoignée.
• Yaniv (7/5): חוויה טובה סך הכל - החדר מאובזר כמו שצריך, נקי, מיטה נוחה, מיקום טוב, מרחק הליכה למסעדות טובות, לחוף. צוות היה אדיב. אולי זה יישמע קטנוני, אבל הדלת לא אטומה כמו שצריך בסגירה, והחדר היה מתמלא ריח של שרוף ממה ששורפים בחוץ.. מעט מטריד כשאתה רוצה לנוח בחדר או לישון בערב, לי אישית ריח כזה מאוד מפריע.

• ANDREA (8/5): Recomendable - Esta muy bien calidad-precio y es limpio. Hay agua a disposición todo el día. La chica de recepción fue muy alegre y simpática. Les reservamos una excursión y nos hicieron un lío con el precio y el tipo de transporte que iba a venir a recogernos. Éramos cuatro y pretendían que fuéramos todo el día en un tuk tuk. Al final, nos hicieron pagar más de lo acordado.
• Shir (6/5): סביר - בלילה הראשון היה פיקס חוץ מהרבה נמלים שהיו בחדר אבל ריססו כשביקשנו והחליפו מצעים, יש מים חמים במקלחת וסך הכל סבבה יקר בעיניי לעומת התמורה, החדר הראשון היה די קטן והייתה הצפה במקלחת אז עברנו לחדר גדול יותר. היו נמלים אבל רוססו ונוקו בידי הצוות וב2 הלילות היו הפסקות חשמל מאוד מבאסות בלילה השני לא ישנו בכלל
• Rosos (10/5): - The heater was functioning 24hrs. The bed and bathroom were both spacious and clean. There was also a porch and an area outside your room where you can hang your clothes to dry. The staff were friendly too. Overall, a great deal for money. We definitely had a good night's rest here.

• Pao (10/5): Great value for money but not social - This place has everything for a comfortable short stay in the island, great value for money considering the beds were spacious and comfortable and the dorms and restrooms were clean. There's no room for socialising at all / common area is just a tiny balcony where only two people could sit tightly.
• Sorcha (8/5): Very good - Decent size room. Cute patio and outside area. Kitchen it you want to cook and also kettle in the room. Liked the addition of a plant in the room. Lots of storage space. Staff were very helpful organising a private tuktuk tour for a great price. You can also buy drinks etc from reception which is good. Location fabulous. Loads of restaurants nearby, I would check out shaka and x pizza 5 minute walk away. They share a location on the beach and we went many times. Toiletries etc provided. We noticed a ridge sticking out of the bed. On inspection the mattress cover wasn't fitted correctly so the ridges were down one side of the bed. We didn't inform staff, I'm sure it could have been sorted but wasn't much of an issue to sleep on just a bit lumpy. Bed was comfortable otherwise. Sheet could maybe be bigger or provide two sheets for two people sharing a double bed.
• Hannah (8/5): Adventure packed! - The Private room was awesome. Great aircon, a fridge and Smart TV. Staff are great. Location is amazing. Near restaurants, cafes and super market. Value for money. I did the Mountain day tour organised by the Hostel and it was exceptional. Special mention to Tata, my driver!! Wifi weak in bedrooms, needed to use out in courtyard. Kitchen could use a deep clean.
